Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

TaiwanThe soundproofing is not ideal. Even though the windows are all closed (and have two layers), we can still clearly hear the traffic outside. Also, the air conditioner is quite loud. If you are quite sensitive to sound, you had better prepare for earplugs.

The staff was friendly, and the hotel was clean. Location is also close to metro station. Our checkout was hours before our flight, and they kept the luggages safe for us. I strongly recommend it.

PolandVery bad WiFi - sometimes not available at all, which is unacceptable in a hotel with business ambitions. A bit too much noise from outside gets into the room due to single glazed windows - due to the climate.
Good location. Reasonably good breakfasts and restaurant with the possibility of dinner being delivered to the room. Comfortable bed. Appropriate size of the room. Comfortable bathroom. Good massage centre. Well-functioning air conditioning.

GermanyBreakfast is really way below our expectation in taste. It's better to grab something to eat outside at the street food stalls or across the road at the mall. The facilities are on the older side, the door is not sound-proof at all. You can hear people walking or talking in the hallway clearly.
We are particularly satisfied with the cleaning standard. Also very happy that we can check in early upon arrival after a long haul flight without costing extra, as our two toddlers were very hot and tired. The location is great, close to the city center, but the traffic in general is bad in Bangkok.

United Kingdomwe had a major discount for the rooms and I still felt it was expensive for the quality of rooms. there is no bar or cafe lounge in the hotel, so if we wanted to sit and chat over a drink we had to go outside. however there were plenty of eating/coffee options nearby.
The hotel location was very convenient for us and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were decent, only not really to the 4-star quality I was expecting, look like in need of a refurb. we did use the gym a couple of times and the pool, the latter was a little disappointing due to a large group of young germans who were very loud. The hotel has parking which was convenient for us.

The location was excellent as we only had one night in Bangkok and the main things we wanted to do was visit the Sky walk at King Power Mahanakhon and then the Patpong night market and both were easily walkable from the hotel. We also needed interconnecting rooms as we were with children and these were guaranteed at time of booking which was reassuring. I would definitely stay here if visiting Bangkok again. Great value for money and very comfy beds.
