The location of the resort is pretty much excellent. It’s secluded enough so it feels private but within a few minutes of walking you will be on Karon beach. The whole resort area is great, and the breakfast buffet has many different options - also with small daily variations. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Many times when we asked for something, or even without asking the staff was very happy to help. For example, the resort provides complimentary flip flops but we needed a smaller size and after calling the reception they arranged for someone to deliver the flip flops to our room within 15 minutes. Also during breakfast, the fruit ran out - but the staff was quick to bring some directly to our table - even though we didn’t ask for it, it was nice that they immediately offered it. I would also highly recommend the spa, we had a massage and a facial there - and the experience was great! Best massage I have ever had, and very friendly masseuse who made sure that the pressure was to our liking.

Hotel could do with an update soon in some areas.

This hotel was amazing for the price. Lovely helpful staff were always happy smiley and welcoming. Good location, 200 baht by taxi to patong. Within easy reach to most places. Pool and restaurants were lovely. Huge selection for breakfast. Lovely extra touches in the room e.g. basket bag to use for the beach or day out along with umbrellas in case of rain. Staff always happy to assist in dropping you to your room if you've had a long day. And also helpful in arranging excursions if needed.

Hotel is located at a stiff cliff. You cant really walk on it. Too many stairs. Only for young persons. You NEED a cab to transfer you to the lobby, and elsewhere. Breakfast is medium in choices. Hotel near the beach, but not at the beach. You need a 7-10 min walk to the beach. Then you NEED a cab to transfer to the room. Too many stairs!!!

the pool is in front of our room, but as it is second floor, it needs to walk around to get access to in. and too many steps, difficult to carry the push chair clime up and down.

big size of room, good view to the garden, the room is nice and clean. the pool is nice and good for children to paly in. the breakfast has many options, and there are another facilities, such as playroom, which is also very good for children. it is near the beach, so we traveled to beach every day.

Everything was perfect, from the location to the facilities. Lovely little touches in the room such as bath robes, beach bag, flip flops and umbrellas. The location is up a hill set in the trees, with lovely views. There is a beach shuttle, although we didn't use it. The food at the hotel is very good and breakfast was amazing. We dined out at EAT steak house (10 mins in a Bolt) which was exceptional. The rooms were spacious and airy, with a lovely outside area to sit. Lots of different pool areas to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a problem with a noise coming from a cupboard which was rectified immediately. Everything is catered for at the hotel so you really don't have to venture far (I would have been happy just staying there for the dew days we were in Phuket!).

Coffee wasn’t the best

The overall facilities of the resort and the friendly staff made us stay incredible. The resort is close to town and they offer shuttles throughout the day. We loved that there was a pool stones throw from every room. The buffet breakfast was delicious.

The location is excellent. The interior of chalets are beautiful. The Restaurants are of highest quality. The gardens and water features are beautiful and generates calmness. The swimming pools have the perfect temperature, with a bar.

It's not near a ton of restaurants/things, but is only a short (15/20) minute walk from them. One thing that would improve the Mandavara is shuttles/transport into the most central town area. There are some shuttles to the beach, but they stop at 6:00pm.

We loved the Mandavara. This was our last stop on our honeymoon, and it was the perfect place to end. The room was gorgeous and comfortable, as were the grounds. Staff were incredibly kind. Also, there was a game room, fitness room and some classes (yoga, towel folding, fruit carving) on various days.

I personally liked that everything was so spaced out , but I guess if you’re not a fan of walking around or going up and down a lot of stairs then this resort is maybe not for you.

The resort was huge and you had to walk quite a bit to get around, but it was honestly so beautiful. It felt like a nice nature walk (or hike). The pools were super nice and clean. The vibe was very chill and relaxing and not too crowded. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly and the food was really good as well. My partner also got a massage at the spa and she loved it! I would definitely come back next time i’m in Phuket.

The view is amazing and room is very clean, tidy and cozy Due to the hugeness of resort transportation from the room to reception by golf car, you’ve to call for a car witch come very fast within 3 min max staff are helpful they have free shuttle service to karon beach The facility is amazing its like a jungle

Don’t seem to be much going on in the evenings so you do need to venture out if you are looking for a bit of life

Amazing rooms with ours having its own private pool access. Each pool (5 in total) has its own pool bar. Staff are their greatest asset as they can’t do enough for you and their transport system around the complex works brilliantly with very quick responses regardless of the time of day or night. Food is also wonderful.
