This is a clean and decent place to stay just minutes from Kata beach. Rooms were clean and spacious, staff friendly. Very good value for money and would recommend.

I personally prefer rooms with good ventilation. My room had no windows except for the doors, and with the weather in Phuket in July, it's really too humid to keep the doors open. The bathroom drainage is a bit slow and no division, like other reviews mentioned, but since I didn’t stay in long after showering, it didn’t bother me much.

I had a wonderful stay at Maiiam Bungalows Kata Beach in Phuket. The accommodation was impeccably clean and maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment throughout my visit. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always assisting with any needs or questions I had. What I appreciated most was the peacefulness of the place, providing a perfect retreat after days filled with activities. Despite its tranquillity, the location is ideal—just a short walk to the beautiful Kata Beach and surrounded by all necessary amenities like restaurants, shops, and markets, pharmacy etc., making everything conveniently accessible.

Perfect location, gem of a place. Hidden oasis off the street. Lovely and calm. All the bungalows are situated around the pool. We were a family of 4 so had 2 bungalows, had bottled water and coffee dropped every morning. Lovely friendly staff.

- soooo near with Kata Beach. And walk 2km to Katong Beach. - they provided almost everything except iron. - so peaceful in morning. - TV got Netflix, spotify, utube.. but who watch tv when on vacay, right… Go out exploring the place, liaoooo - Got mini bar (and coffee) nearby pool

I did not like the external enviroment : Kata was such an amazing beach 20 years ago, but now is a super noisy place with endless shops selling all the same items. Definately a place to avoid.

The facility is a little group of bungalows on two sides of a large swimming pool. on the front side of the swimming pool is the sunbathing area and on the opposite side a shady area to sit and have a drink. While outside is extremely noisy inside the property, magically is very quiet.

The bathroom is a bit odd as the drain is in the opposite corner to the shower so the whole room is soaked every time the shower is on, but it was clean and functional so not a big deal.

A great all-rounder in the heart of Kata Beach. The location is perfect for Kata, the beach is a few minutes walk and there are so many restaurants and shops close by. The hotel itself has a nice pool and sun loungers for relaxing and each bungalow has its own terrace. The rooms are clean and modern with good aircon and strong WiFi, including on the smart TV. We were really comfortable and would definitely stay again.

The AC was not fully able to cool the room, but that beeing said we stayed during a heatwave.

We had a very warm welcome by the outstandingly friendly receptionist that was available on side and over whatsapp at any day or night time. The room was well equipped, and like a quiet peaceful oasis stepping of the buzzing main road. It was very clean and Coffe, tea & water got refilled every morning plus beach towels where supplied. The pool was very large for the size of the accomodation. We loved our stay .

The guest policy was confusing. During check-in, we have to sign a T&Cs paper which said 1000 baht would be charged per guest but when I spoke to the hotel management, that doesn't seem to be the case. I had couple of guests and i wasn't charged which I appreciate. The ACs take a little bit of time to cool the room.

Nice cute little place. The most I like about this place is the staff.....every one is very welcoming and make you very comfortable. Receptionist (Chai / Chay) is always available to help you. They were very accomodating with check-in. I reached an hour before check-in and they still checked me in immediately rather than making me wait an hour. Nice pool view with small plants around. Plenty of eateries around and night street market just 1 min walk away and the beach just 2-3 mins walk away. All the furniture like benches and bed in the room is made of concrete which added a novelty factor. The bed was very comfy. The resort is very family friendly. The pool was nice and clean. And they have smart TV with NextFlix, Youtube etc...which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The bathroom didn’t have a closed shower- as many people mentioned in the other reviews. We were prepared for this and it was fine. Not a big deal at all. But if there was anything to improve- it would be this.

What was not to love? The location was amazing. Having the pool just steps away from our door was clutch. Food, shopping and beach all just a few steps away from our hotel. Great staff, very clean room, comfortable bed. I will DEFINITELY return if we come back to Phuket. Loved the bar on site!!

Stuff was great, they will provide anything if needed. Room was clean and had everything. Location was best. On the main street but not noisy at all. Five minute walking distance to Kata beach. Totally recommended 👌

We stay there for seven days. The smell of the sewers in the bathroom saturated with the entire bungalow. It took majority of the time of we stayed. There is a little ventilation that doesn’t seem to function that well. The furnitures inside the small bungalow made with concrete cement constantly making us feel a bit nervous. It said it’s a wheelchair accessible place but it ends up that wheelchair barely can fit in. And the two plastic chairs on the balcony outside the bungalow are not comfortable to sit. there’s a few mosquitoes.

Great location! A tidy and simple, peacefully connected with all the bungalows by a small trail in the well kept garden place which located in the hustle bustle noisy polluted main street by the Kata beach. The garden is well-kept well nourished well watered. There is a tree frangipani constantly throwing out lots of White and yellow full of fragrant flowers down to the green grass lawn and the trail, romantic is in the air, birds come go, at night The smell of the flower it gets even more intense, you can sit by the bungalow sipping your favorite drink watching the fun things in the pool while reminded by the sweet frangipani flowers smell. We enjoyed the bed and the paintings on the wall. The hot water boiler is powerful. It’s also very lovely and happy to see the staffs spontaneously teasing and having fun with each other while working.
