Reception hours 8am~7pm but no staff after 5 or 6pm. When I needed her help on Whatsapp, no answer. The water pressure is very weak but this seems beyond Hostel control. There is no guardrail between Upper Bed and Wall and any objects can be fallen from Upper Bed.

Near to the beach and all restaurants/bars but distant enough to avoid Party Sound. Very Clean and well maintained Facility. Free Coffee/Cookie (I can't say Breakfast) in the morning. Drinking Water is provided. No deposit.

No rules for inmates. People going coming throughout might creating lot of disturbances in sleep People coming from beach with loads of sand in their cloth and feet making the room dirty by the morning. It will b good if the host can have some clear instructions to maintain silence hour after 10 pm or so

it was perfect for me but just be aware it may not be super social at all times

comfy beds and a really good location, right near the beach bars and probably 5 minutes from the bars in the centre but you couldn't hear the music late which was perfect for me :) only two rooms and not a massive social area but i met a really lovely group here so that definitely helped haha

Breakfast very simple

Magic Hostel is a great place to stay if you're looking for a fun and affordable hostel experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and air-conditioned some even with a balcony. The hostel also has a great common area where you can meet other travelers and socialize. Very compact too

The drains in the showers smell quite bad which then circulates the room when used. Can’t help the guests being extremely loud when in a party place so bare it in mind. There was only toast one of the four mornings we were there which was strange as we thought it would be every morning.

Great location, very friendly staff. Dorm room was cleaned every morning. Free water, tea and coffee. Bed has a curtain, light and plug socket, felt private.

Lots of very young people coming drunk at night and being noisy but it is what it is.

I liked the location and the bed were comfortable with curtains, breakfast in the morning is cool as well as the staff.

A bit expensive

Free breakfast and all day snacks while reception was open. Good price on the full day boat tour around Phi Phi from reception. Privacy was great in the room with the curtains and bathrooms inside the room.

If you are not a party person, maybe you won’t have a good night sleep, as it is really close to a lot of bars, people that stay there usually are going out and comeback drunk, what will wake you up many times. As I wasn’t in this mood during my stay there, was hard do rest.

The location was pretty good, close to a lot of things, and the staff are cleaning the rooms every day. And they offered a simple breakfast with coffee, bread and a few more things, was pretty nice.

The top bunk curtain didn’t really wrap around so it didn’t feel very private! I also cut my arm on the bed as the metal was exposed :(

The hostel was nice enough for a short stay. The staff were lovely and the free breakfast was a great bonus! The bathroom was clean.

The beds were a bit far from the walls so if you’re not paying attention your phone can easily slip between.

- There’s no proper shower: you shower in the toilette with water going everywhere in the room - Soap: almost not existent to wash your hands - No laundry service - They offer tours but it’s better to bargain in the local shops

- Location (very close to the beach) - Kind staff (even though sometimes they struggled with English) - Clean dorm - free food (snacks and breakfast, even though there was not much choice) - They allowed me to check in earlier and to stay a bit longer in the lobby before catching my ferry - They provide towels and you can dry your clothes outside in a rack - There is both fans and AC

There are only two toilets/showers between 10 people. The mattress was really hard, usually I like a firm mattress but I woke up with sore hip bones throughout the night and had to re-adjust.

The location was brilliant, with only a 12 minute walk from the port. 7 eleven just two minutes walk away. The room was cool in temperature. The toilets clean and with warm water.
