Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SpainThe poor maintenance of everything. The bathroom was too small and everything gets wet. It is hard to sleep due to the noise from the street or corridors. The blankets were insufficient and old.
The staff was very nice, they let me do the checkin a bit earlier than stated and the checkout was fast, the people in the reception is lovely. I think they are great workers.

AustraliaWheni first walked into the place I didn't like the smell and thought wow what have I booked into. The TV had zero channels but that could possibly have been remedied ,but I only stayed 1 night so didn't bother me much.
The aircon and shower worked better than some 5 star hotels . Fortunately the room didn't smell bad like the reception area

FranceWindow are not isolated from noise, BTS and street. The suite with balcony is a joke. The "terrasse" particularly.
Staffs are smiling except 1 lady. The location is premium and the food in ground floor is good.

GreeceThe 'soundproof' ad. wasn't quite valid as all the corridor and neighboring room sounds were passing through quite vividly, even the one on the other side of the corridor when someone was talking loudly on his phone. There were quite a few times that I woke up from door slams or the cleaning staff when getting to work early am. Also there were the train sounds as the room was facing the train line, this was a bit more mild and could get used to after a while.
The location is very convenient (5 mins walk to skytrain, one of the main public transport trains) with plenty of food options, nightlife and a couple of grocery stores nearby. English is not the strong asset of the staff but it was helpful in any way it could. The food options on the ground floor restaurant were very tasty and cheap. The room was comfortable and spacious with all the necessities for short and long stays, at least for one person.

NetherlandsUnfortunately, there was some construction work going on when we arrived, mind you that was at 02:00 AM at night. We luckily had some earplugs and left quite early in the morning, but it was very loud. The lady at the check-in did offer to give us another room, but we checked it out and the sounds wouldn't be any better so we stayed put.
We stayed at Lodge 61 Hotel for 1 night, because we just arrived from Bangkok airport and had to catch the bus early in the morning to Koh Chang. The location was great since the bus station was only 5 minute walk away. We checked in quite late, but the reception is open 24 hours. The lady was lovely and the room was clean. We also got 2 bottles of water.
