Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

No real aircon- only fans. this wasn't too much of a problem until i ended up with heatstroke where i couldn't cool down at all when i went to bed. If there was proper aircon here it would have been a much better stay! Overall worth it for the price though.
Super friendly staff! Nice and quiet location albeit a 10 min walk off the beaten track. Was very relaxed here. Cure cats and turtles! Very cheap!

Bathroom in the room. Located amidst the greenery in a quiet setting, but with a 5 minute walk you can reach the centre. For me it was perfect. There is a common area, but during my stay it was not frequented.

GermanyThe beds & mattresses. The bunk beds are literally next to each other - you can touch your neighbor. The bottom mattresses are directly on concrete - which was pretty dirty if you looked under them. The room could fit 22(!) people, but there's no way the luggage of 22 people would ever fit. Anything more than 8 would be too much for the available space - but they seem to know it, the top beds were not in use. Toilet, sink and floors could be cleaner. Only one bathroom available. A/C was present but they wouldn't turn it on. Instead fans were used at their max setting 24/7, which meant they were very loud - earplugs recommended.
The common area was great. Outdoors but covered, with enough chairs & tables, hammocks, electricity outlets and a toilet. The bathroom was very beautiful and had enough space. Luckily we were only 4 people in the room, otherwise I have no idea how it would work. They provided free drinking water. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

United KingdomWe could have done with more checks on the room for things such as toilet roll as we ran out and the staff wouldn’t be around to ask for more when we went in the evening due to the time. But that was a very minor inconvenience.
Perfect location and really friendly staff. We opted for a private room which was great value for money. Clean and basic accommodation. Definitely recommend

Definitely one of the cheaper hostels in Koh tao. The common seating area up the top was nice if you need to work or just want to chill. Rooms were clean.

If you are looking for a place that is just a bit away from all the partying and isn't insanely expensive this is the best spot in central Koh Tao. The open air hangout area is super peaceful and a good place to meet and talk to other travelers.
