Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomFantastic hotel. We stayed in the dome and had a great experience. Clean, safe, private, excellent staff, great room service with excellent value for food. Super comfortable memory form mattress. Strong air conditioning. Honestly we could not fault it, amazing place. Highly recommend you get the “Grab” app, it’s like Uber. Perfect for travelling around and worked perfectly in every city.

IrelandNeeded to get a taxi everywhere.
Really nice rooms, we stayed in one of the villa rooms. Place was very clean. Fresh linen and water everyday. Pool was nice for a dip. Food was really nice. There were activities close but would probably need a taxi to get to them as road was too busy to walk

United KingdomWe had a Dome. The toilet is downstairs so a bit of an inconvenience at night going up and down the stairs for the toilet. The front of the hotel is very deceptive. Not very appealing but when you get inside the hotel is actually really nice. Probably need to fix the name that’s fallen off and showcase the hotel more at the front.
The staff were very attentive and helpful

SwitzerlandMaybe a mosquito net would have been nice so one can leave the window open at night.
It’s not too far from the nice beaches, it’s not expensive & it had a very nice underground parking for cars & motorcycles with a lift going straight up to the rooms.

AustraliaI prefer the older domes as the tv is available in the bed where as the new domes only have the tv downstairs and the living space is small and it’s hard to get comfortable on the couch with two people. There is also a car park at the back of the new domes and can be noisy throughout the night.
The new domes are nice and the private pool is always a bonus. Stayed here plenty of times and will return again for sure

I’ve stayed at this property a lot over the years and it’s always been enjoyable and pleasant. A lot of restaurants around and close enough to Nai Harn beach if you have a scooter or car

United KingdomOnly fault was the breakfast! I wouldn’t associate the foods with a breakfast; more like lunch/tea.
The room perfectly matched the pictures! Very clean, spacious villa with a nice pool and extra comfy bed! The staff were also really welcoming and helped us to take our luggage to our rooms.

United KingdomNot enough wardrobe space. There was only space to put clothes in the same area the safe was which was a small space, only 2 coat hangers so definitely not enough space for 2 people to have their clothes out. Had to put all my clothes under the stairs on the floor which wasn’t ideal but apart from that everything else was spot on 😊
Loved the dome villas! Really nice and clean 😊 had a lovely stay - would definitely go back

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast was not fantastic and the restaurant area is not as nice as the rest of the property.
I stayed in the clamping dome for two nights and it was excellent. You have everything you need, your own private pool, roof terrace and sun loungers. If your not into the beach and prefer a pool this is the perfect solution.

United Arab EmiratesTV was very fiddly and needed updating. Maybe consider upgrading to smart tvs that aren’t difficult to use. I ordered avocados on toast each day for lunch and was told there was none left everyday. No issues though - loads of cafes around. I recommend BOOST (closeish by) and Cannelle Nai Harn (a trek but with it) . Gallery cafe was nice but expensive.
Very reasonable room rate (£32 per night) for villa room with Mountain View. Black out curtains made it easy for a good sleep and I asked for a quiet room (20F) and it was silent! Staff were wonderful, especially the girls on Reception. They work very hard and are constantly helping with luggage and always have a beautiful smile on their faces. Manager is also fabulous. You are spoilt for places to eat out. My favourite was Thai Street Hut (next door to Aroma). Tasty food - I went twice! I also enjoyed my meal at Unni’s. Both places get very busy so I would go around 6.30-7. My favourite beach by a mile was Nai Harn beach. I didn’t really rate Rawai but I did have a nice coffee and ice cream at Rustic by the Sea if you like a view with your refreshments.
