The owner Red was so nice and made sure I had the best stay possible! The bungalows are perfect if you would like to stay in a more peaceful and quiet area in Koh Lanta. It’s in the middle of nature but the beach is just an 8min ride on the scooter away. The food at the restaurant was amazing and always available. I loved my room and even though I read other reviews about bugs coming into the room I did not experience that at all.

The location is a bit out of the way so harder to get around if you don’t scooter. But taxis can be arranged which makes it simple enough

Exceptions service! Red and his wife were excellent hosts, great food available and very attentive! As a solo traveller I felt very safe and supported by them. First place I’ve ever felt sad to leave! I adored the location for its remoteness and hearing the wildlife but it might not be for everyone with chirpy creatures all the time.

I liked everything

It was a true paradise. The lush garden, the quiet location, the amazing food, the beautiful wooden huts, the tropical setting. And above all Red is the most excellent, supportive, caring and friendly host. Even though it can be useful to have a scooter for getting round, I did not have one and it was absolutely fine. The nearest beach (which is lovely) is just a 20 minute walk away, and there is always the chance to use a tuk tuk for shorter or taxi for longer distances or at nighttime. This was my best stay in Thailand! Red, thank you so much!

If you’re not a morning person bring earplugs as rooms as not isolated and you can hear everything, coks, birds and geckos. Room is a bit dark

The location is absolutely stunning away from everything you just hear nature and the occasional call to prayer, if you like to be in the centre of it all this is not the place for you. Scooter or car pretty much essential or you'll be paying a lot for taxis/walking a lot. The host is super friendly. The huts are really spacious and beautifully fitted out.

We spent 5 nights as a couple at Lanta Par Hut and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. The place is ideally located, far from the noise in a peaceful neighbourhood but still only 10 minutes away from the best beaches in Koh Lanta. The bungalows are very confortable and well equipped (air conditioning, towels, comfortable bed, little terrasse, fridge, wifi,…) the biggest plus of this place is definitely the kindness of Red and his wife, the owners. They are very welcoming and can help on many aspects: scooter rental, organising bus transport to your next destination, activities, laundry,… The restaurant is amazing with lots of delicious food options! Everything. Bungalows and facilities are beautiful and well kept. Bed is very comfortable. Delicious food, and motorcycle rental in site. The owner, Red, is amazing. He will help you with everything you need and will make you feel at home. Location is great in paradise in the middle of the island with access everywhere with a motorcycle, which is super fun.

I really liked the location it was really quiet. Red is a great host, very helpful. Really liked the small waterfall in the restaurant area. Very calming. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely view. Bed super comfy:)

We had a wonderful stay at Para Hut. Red the owner is great to chat to and so helpful. Breakfast was delish and the hut itself was perfect. So clean and set in a beautiful garden. It’s perfectly located, we way preferred the beaches on the south of the island as they are much prettier and less busy, and you could easily drive to them from here (with a scooter rented from Red). One of the best places we have stayed on our travels, can’t recommend it enough!

Came here for lunch and ended up staying for 4 peaceful nights. The owner Red, showed us some of the best service I’ve received in my entire life. The Huts are beautifully built, with a clean and welcoming energy to them. Red’s wife provides tasty and healthy home style food, for a fair price. The property is well maintained and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay on the island. Red will also have motorbikes to rent for a cheap price. Leaving

It was exactly what we were looking for, no frills no fuss. Beautiful gardens in a very quiet and chilled location. The host was a Thai man whose name is Red. Red is amazing, helpful, charismatic, charming and engaging, very knowledgeable about Koh lanta and It’s a bit like the old Johnny walker advert that nobody can add ice like I can. Every stay has a bed, a garden, a pool etc but what sets Lanta Para Hut apart from all the others is they don’t have Red. The restaurant food was superior and the prices as cheap as any restaurant we have been in Southern Thailand. We will definitely be back even on a day trip just to eat the food. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness Red.
