We had our lovely honeymoon trip at this place and it was amazing. The main contribution to our lovely stay was the exemplary services from the staff. We especially appreciate Mr. Nee and his above and beyond services and advices during our stay (you can ask him about what to do and which tour package would fit your schedule and condition). The resort is very new and well maintained, the beach is beautiful, and all the small details along with the effort of the owners made this resort truly unique. The masseuse guy was amazing with lovely view to the beach.

Maybe some stepping stones up to our villa as it got a little slippery after the gardeners had been watered the garden.

Absolutely fantastic Sam and Jacqui were so friendly we came here for our honeymoon and couldn’t of been more impressed the room was perfect with such attention to detail including all the little things most hotels/resorts don’t have. They even gave us vouchers for a massage the massage was awesome highly recommend loved our stay at lanta palace.

Everything was perfect

Upon arrival we immediately decided to prolong our stay. This place feels like paradise. The villas are very comfortable, nicely decorated and they are all located in a beautiful garden overlooking the sea. However it was the lovely staff who made are stay very special. They are so attentive, kind and service minded. They really deserve a big compliment! Also great is to have dinner in the open air restaurant on their private beach. We arrived at Krabi airport and the transportation (on request) was very well organised by the owners of the resort. The taxi driver was waiting for us in the arrival hall and it took us two and a half hours to arrive at our destination. We already miss Koh Lanta and are looking forward to returning one day. Thanks for everything and making our stay in Thailand so special!

Nothing really.

Brand new, very big and nice villas, very beautiful surroundings, great care for everything you may need - from transfers to pier, renting scooter to some local recommendations and massage. The owners Jackie and Sam are great and always around if you need something but they have great story with Thailand. Food in the restaurant is better than what you can get around, really recommend the Masaman curry meatball appetizer - great mix of European and Thai taste. Also the great atmosphere for a dinner on the beach.

All the atmosphere, service and chill vibe. The owners are amazing and their enthusiasm is contagious - you can experience the attitude from all the members of the “crew”. Home-like feeling, English speaking stuff, amazing place, excellent service.

The breakfast could have some more gluten free and milk free options. Anyway having it on the beach gives a really fantastic feeling. The gym is very small, still adding there a bench and a set of weights would allow more exercises

we had a wonderful stay at the resort . We stayed in a Villa with partial sea view and the room was even better looking than the pictures. The rooms are very clean and well maintained ; the staff is very friendly ; the breakfast was good. The resort beach is very nice and a bit excluded . The resort’s restaurant is very nice located in the beach. we also recommend going for massage at the resort . I had 2 massages which were both great :). One can also organized different tours to the other island from the hotel.

Nothing! its perfect!

If you are going to Koh Lanta you have to stay here. It is the best place. We had a wonderful time here. Everything is perfect. Great food, great beach, great pool. The bungalows are super nice. Everything is well thought through and the hosts really make you feel at home. Don't let other reviews fool you (from pre december 2022), the place has new owners and it has been completely redesigned. We stayed at some supposedly 5-star places in Thailand and this is way better. Highly recommended! Still dreaming about the breakfast, and the dinners and all of it :) We even got an upgrade.

We initially booked through Booking.com for 7 nights in Bungalow A1 which was front line, we had such a nice time we extended our stay for another 7 nights in Bungalow C2 (from memory) which has an equally amazing sea view. This resort is hard to beat, the owners, Sam and Jacquie have done an outstanding job in creating a brand new amazing boutique resort which is situated in a fantasitc location. The bungalows lack nothing and are extremely well appointed. Sitting around the pool or on the beach the sea view is just amazing, a few paces away is the bar and the bar staff are excellent, they make superb cocktails and delicious food. We would definably stay in with Sam and Jacquie again, nothing was too much trouble for them and I can highly recommend the Lanta Palace Beach Resort

all in all the experience here is priced way too high for what you get. some examples: - We booked a „Seaview“ room for a reasonable extra price. when we arrived we were brought to a room with no Seaview. The staff told us this would be correct. Because we paid extra for Seaview we’ve complained that we wanted to see the view. We then got another one which was nice, but that shouldn’t happen in the first place! - We rented a scooter via the hotel which was double the price vs. across the street, which we found out later. It’s okay to ask for more in a hotel, but 800THB for a basic scooter for 2 days is way too much. - The worse was the return. We have asked for a transfer to Ao Nang. When we asked the reception, they offered us 2 options. 1. Private shuttle by car + car ferry for 3.200 THB 2. Shuttle bus to ferry + ferry. 700 THB. I double checked with the owner who confirmed that this would be a public ferry to Ao Nang Pier. When the shuttle picked us up we also picked up 11 other people + luggage, then drove to the car ferry - in the end it was not a ferry but a car transfer with car ferry. So we had to sit 3.5h in a van with no working air con, 11 people + luggage! No option to go to the toilet. An absolute nightmare. When we messaged the hotel, they just said this is what we booked. No, this was not clearly communicated, our understanding was even reconfirmed by the owner! we would have never booked this! As a result, this is not what I expect when paying >750€ for 3 nights. Earlier the same week we paid 640€ for 2 nights at Pimalai Resort Ko Lanta. And they for example had a free of charge „only Pimalai guests“-transfer to Ao Nang…

The hotel Location is very nice, the beach is wonderful and the stuff at the restaurant is very friendly. Also the dinner is very good, little pricey but it’s worth the money I‘d say. The owner Sam is a lovely person who is very open to help.

The service was lacking for a 4 star hotel and for check in we were waiting for a while to see our room.
