Not that much to do locally, but not a big problem with the nice restaurant, pool, and beach access at the hotel.

Directly on a very nice beach, nice massage, great restaurant, and very generous and varied breakfast. Big juice glasses rather than the tiny ones hotels usually use. Very attentive and friendly staff, and also friendly Swiss owners. Range of excursions available via reception (provided by third parties). We definitely recommend!

This resort is a hidden gem, a perfect paradise with both amazing hands-on owners and perfect smiling helpful staff!! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service was truly perfect. There are so many unexpected little touches that go towards this completely revamped resort, an exceptional place to relax. The staff come round with cold water and skewers of fruit around midday to refresh your pallette. Happy hour is a must with delicious cocktails around the pool. Although we did eat out a couple of times, the hotels food topped anything we sampled outside. The room we chose was a beachfront villa which was quiet with amazing views.

From the minute we arrived the welcome given was first class! The location was like paradise, our bungalow with beach view stunning and gardens beautiful. Sunsets WOW! The pool, bar (happy hour), restaurant & food were wonderful! We can’t say enough about the owners Sam & Jackie, their hospitality and care went over and above. As for the wonderful team who looked after us, Nee, Rai, Maid, Maa, Chah, Das, the whole team simply the best! Thank you all.

So many things!!! The staff were like family. Truly phenomenal 👏 A haven to come back to after scootering around the island! Beautiful location right on the beach! Gardens are gorgeous even after not having rain for five months! Loved the mandarin butterfly pea and homemade passionfruit ice cream! Highly recommend!

The Thai dance show. But that is a personal preference, we just don't like evening entertainment at a hotel. But I am sure others enjoyed it!

It was exactly what we needed. A peaceful setting, beautiful villas both outside and inside, fantastic food, super nice staff (and owners!), nice beach, not crowded. What we particularly loved is that every tiny detail in this resort was beautiful. No plastic at all (we live in Asia and know plastic is everywhere), but not here! From the sun loungers to rubbish bins, all materials seem to have been carefully selected! Last but not least we are real foodies and we absolutely loved the food and also the variety that is being offered. Not to forget the drinks! Virgin mojito and the real passion fruit mojito were our favourites!

We had the most amazing 3 days at Lanta Palace, we couldn’t fault a thing. The hotel grounds are beautiful surrounded by tropical plants, amazing view of the beach from the pool. The staff are friendly and the hotel owners are such nice people who love to check in and have a chat. Also the happy hour every day during sunset is a plus!

Our room, which had direct access to the beach and pool, was both comfortable and stunning. We chose the Beachfront Villa, which turned out to be the best decision. The breakfast was amazing, and the Beach Bar was a phenomenal spot for late afternoon drinks while watching the stunning sunsets.

Loved everything about this beautiful family run hotel. From the day we arrived we were welcomed with a smile. The location is just perfert with beautiful scenery. We celebrated our honeymoon and our room was beautifully decorated upon our arrival. We had a lovely semi sea view room, I would say if you want that feeling of waking up right on the beach with seaview book a beachfront room. Breakfast was delicious. The owners were very present throughout our stay welcoming guests, the other staff members were also very helpful. Overall I would recommend Ko Lanta for a peaceful stay

As non smokers we found that smoking was allowed at the restaurant and around the bar. Although they could argue that some of the tables are outside, it is still annoying to be covered in other peoples smoke when you are eating.

Beautiful location. The rooms were very large and comfortable. The food was excellent and at a very reasonable price for this standard of hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

It's almost impossible to find fault in anything. It's run by a Swiss couple and it lives up to the Swiss standard. From start to finish our stay ran like clockwork.

The welcome, the attention, the staff, the cleanliness. Everything is very easy, nothing is too far, you are right on the beach, there is space by the pool and enough loungers for everyone. Breakfast was very good, home made bread, yogurt and muffins... It's a relatively small and the staff get to know you very quickly, it quickly becomes a very friendly place to be whilst remaining very professional. I would definitely recommend hiring a scooter for the stay. This a 4 star hotel with 5 star service, Sam and Jacquie have made the effort and it shows. We were grateful for everything.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lanta Palace. The hotel rooms and grounds are beautiful and the staff is very attentive. The beach is quiet and private. Having dinner right on the beach was a highlight, as was the relaxing massage in the cabana overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was very good. The location is so relaxing that you have to force yourself to leave and visit other places in Ko Lanta.

with regards to the Hotel there is nothing to complain , it was nearly perfect. However the water at the beach was not as clear as we expected it to be. Swimming is possible , also at low tide.

the Hotel is very well designed, even though the property is small, all bungalows have privacy, The rooms are spacious, well designed, with a nice bathroom, a great terrasse. The location is good directly at the long private beach only shared with another 5 Star Hotel. Breakfast is extraordinary good, the staff are extremely well educated, helpfull and friendly. The swiss owner greet every customer personally and have done a great job running this place. We ha a great time there.

A beautiful small and friendly hotel in a fantastic location. The staff are exceptional, particularly the ladies at the bar who made every happy hour an event and the gentleman on reception (Nee) who looked after us so well. If you are thinking of visiting Koh Lanta look no further.

Some guests reserve their sunbeds before breakfast by putting their towels down. The good news is that there is plenty of sunbeds for everyone and also enough shade from a big tree for those that dont wish to sunbake.

A little slice of paradise. Beautiful, big villas an a lush tropical garden. It is on a nice stretch of beach, good for swimming and my husband enjoyed the snorkeling. The pool overlooks the beach. Restaurant is beautiful with good food and fair pricing. If you like the food spicy you have to insist a bit- but this is no surprise as they cater to foreigners. Some tables are right on the beach for that foot in the sand dining experience. Breakfast is decent, with the best smoothies ever (but disappointing eggs benedict). There is also some other restaurants and little shops in walking distance for those who wish to venture out.
