Nothing, we came in low season so some restaurants around were shut but this isnt New Coconuts fault!

A bit rundown in places. Needs a bit of a refurb, which they do seem to have started. Seats in the restaurant and bar were pretty uncomfortable, although i'm being a bit moany and it's only a minor criticism.

Location was perfect. Beautiful sunsets. But particularly the friendliness of staff it seemed to be an excellent place to stay if you’re solo travelling they really looked after you.

Staff hover around the pool and restaurant area and it’s a little intimidating. Also the aircon was very loud.

Direct access to the beach. Very well kept and very clean. Near all the basic services.

Beach is beautiful and definitely ok for swimming but during low tide (which was daytime while we visited) it’s just a bit rocky in the water. We swam later in the afternoon when rocks were more submerged which was better. Definitely not a reason to avoid. The actual beach is pretty and great to walk along.

Met with welcome complimentary drinks on arrival, this place proved to be an exceptional find on our travels. The budget room we were taken to was exactly as booked and perfect. We headed to the restaurant for some cheap but delicious eats looking out over the beach and then went for a swim. We started in the ocean then finished off in the pool next to the restaurant. Originally we intended to stay 1 night - but one became three, then three became five - simply because it was so great. We ended up arranging a tour to the Krabi sights from here and rather than staying in Krabi returned to this hotel. Great restaurants within taxi ride if you want to try something other than the hotel restaurant. We were here in low season so a few of the locals were shut. Plenty within walking distance which look great if you’re here in high season. Reception staff are so incredibly helpful and able to arrange tours or private transport etc. Exceptional service. Highlight here is the massage therapist - really good.

i only stayed one night but i would’ve stayed longer if i could! staff were really nice, right on the beach, food at restaurant was good, the bungalows are so cute and private and the hammocks are a nice touch! the a/c worked very well, pool seemed lovely!

Lanta Coconut Bungalow is amazing. Really good value for money. The facilities are very comfortable and clean, right in front of the sea! The Staff is really helpful. I hope you have the opportunity to meet Nush, she's amazing, she is a great help to help you organized your stay there and she's always by your side. I always have breakfast there. The Coconut smoothie is so delicious!!! Everything I had there was really good and tasteful.

Restaurant is very bland (go to Jaeb down the beach) and in May everything nearby was closed though everything open on other beaches

Located directly on the beach, also has a good pool. Bike and car rental available at the property which is super convenient. Supermarket 2 minute walk away. Lots of good restaurants nearby

When had shower drain was blocked so water sat around toilet all day.But that was a minor issue.No other issues

Cockroaches in the room but that’s to be expected. Room was on the small side but didn’t bother us. And not related to the property but the beach was very rocky and almost impossible to swim in unless the tide was in, but thankfully the pool makes up for that :)

The hut we stayed in was so lovely with AC and a view of the pool. Beach was right at our doorstop too. Restaurant had great selection of food for any time of day and there was even a little mini mart on site. 7/11 right round the corner. Very helpful staff.

We loved staying here, the rooms were really nice and comfortable, the staff were lovely and the food at the restaurant was great! It was so peaceful and relaxing, would 100% recommend!

Located on the beach but not very good for swimming. But the pool made up for it. So nice to have a pool to dip into. There is a kids' club within the property making it very family oriented. Restaurant serves decent food and offers beautiful seaview especially during sunset. All food and drinks consumed can be billed to the bungalow and pay during check out. My bungalow is clean and compact, perfect for solo traveller. May be a little tight for 2 person. There is a mini fridge, kettle and a few power outlets. AC works perfectly and there is hot shower. Bed is comfortable. Bungalow was made up daily. Staff very friendly, courteous and efficient. Check in was a breeze. Within 10 mins of arrival, I was given info about the property and shown my bungalow. Rented my motorbike, bought my snorkeling trip and onward ticket from the property but one can always shop around.

Rooms were a little small and basic but didn't spend much time there!

This resort is so loved by staff. You can feel it! Service was amazing and all the staff were wonderful. Food was great as was "happy hour" The evening BBQ on the beach was amazing. So much care and attention in making it a memorable experience. The location on the beach was gorgeous.

The beds could be a little softer, but that simply personal preference.

We have been coming to new coconut since it first filled its pool – the bungalows are perfect, super simple and always clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly, laidback and always willing to help. it is really well located. Easy to get anywhere on the island whether you hire a scooter or use a taxi. Plus, plenty of good local restaurants within walking distance.
