The aircon was turned off at the hottest time of the day, so even if you made the most of the morning and came back between 12 and 3, the hottest hours to have a siesta or just be safe from the sun, it was no escape because it was roasting in the room. Also the bed was quite hard, not very comfy, but the location was so perfect and the place was always very clean so it made up for it.

The location is the best. You really couldn't be closer to the beach, you have a pool as well on site, and close to restaurants, seven/eleven, etc. Staff were lovely as well, and they kept the place very clean. The location really is what made it for me! Showers were good, the bunk beds had their own light and curtains which blocked out a lot of light. I did enjoy my stay and would stay again.

Reception is not always open, waited many hours to get the deposit back from my scooter. (Be ware they ask 5000 baht or your passport; i would not suggest to give your passport) Not all the staff speak (any) English, that makes communication a bit tricky. Maybe a good idea to put opening hours when there is nobody at reception. The phone nrs to call did not work/ only spoke Thai. I was told this was due to ramadan. Be aware of this the next 2 weeks. That might affect business hours. They did try to do their best. Overal; great stay, good location! Book it but be ware of these things. ✌️😀

The pool is amazing, close to some shops and restaurants, but the best thing; long beach is a 2 min walk away! Stayed in a dorm, beds with curtains are good, with big lockers (space for a big backpack) and a safe, light, charging point for each bed are a big plus! Airco is working, 2 bathrooms in the dorm! They made the bed and gave a fluffy towel. Rented a scooter there (although scratched ip by prior fall) it was working great. Good way to get around the island.

The pool is "far" from the shared room, so it is not as convenient as I expected to be. But is a minor thing because it is exactly like the pictures.

Location is really good, near 7 eleven, beach, and area with couple of restaurants. Easy to rent a bike . I book transportation with the hostel and the explain very good about time schedule and possible trajectories.

Great value for money. We stayed in the bungalow with fan and bungalow with ac. The fan was enough to keep the small room cool in january. The rooms are basic and not very modern, but do their job very well. We spent some time by the pool, it’s a very short walk to the beach, and plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Well run grounds and the staff are incredibly helpful. Like, super incredibly helpful!

I wouldn’t say that is a hostel, I didn’t interact with anybody. Rooms were ok, but a lot of humidity smell.

In terms of money the place was ok.

One toilet was clocked nearly the whole time - so only one toilet for 12 people.

It's a nice hostel with a clean swimming pool. Very close to the beach and a 7-11. The beds were clean and I had 2 bathrooms in the dorm. The AC is on the whole night and takes a break from 2p.m. to 5 p.m. In front of the room was a little sitting area where you could talk with other travellers. You can also rent a scooter directly at the hostel for a cheap price. Good opportunity to see the island.

The mattresses in the dorm were very hard and the common area is very basic. No amenities to make coffee or tea and no refillable water.

I was here in low season so it was very quiet but certainly enjoyable. Pool was good, great access to the beach.

nice pool, but the water was dirty often. no wifi near the pool either. easy to have sleep disturbed by people coming in and out of the hostel room because of noisy door. bring earplugs.

The outdoor social area really needs a couple of ceiling fans. A fridge and microwave would be nice additions... I would be happy to pay a little extra for these. The bins need emptying twice a day, not once.

The pool was great for staying cool during the afternoon. The beds are big and comfy with socket, light, curtain and wall safe. The lockers are big, you can put a large backpack inside. The bathrooms are also large and spacious.

- It is impossible to find as it isn’t called Lanta Long Beach Hostel it’s called sunny house. We spent over an hour with all our bags asking around trying to find it. All guest that book under Lanta Long have this problem. - The staff are ok but not overly friendly or happy to help. - Pool has so much chlorine in it

great location, just a short walk to the beach andwith a couple superb restaurants nearby. Overall good value for money. You can rent a bike here for just 200THB.

we rented a bike off the hostel which broke down the far side of the island, 20 calls later and still no answer, no reply on booking either, we were fortunate enough to find a little cafe up the road where 2 men helped us out and brought our bike to a repair shop. The bike got fixed and I got refunded my money from the hostel after showing some pictures, something to keep in mind when renting the pool was a great size but dirty our last couple of days lots of wildlife around the bungalows so be sure to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper

Aircon didn't work a couple of nights but owner fixed! Beds extremely creaky so be prepared for lots of squeaking all night No shampoo or shower gel or even hand soap But other than that can't fault it for £5 a night!

Location was right on the beach and also had access to a really good pool! It was £5 a night which is absolute madness! Was 12 bed with 2 showers and 2 toilets which was good as not often everyone wanting shower at same time

There was nowhere to get water which is a bit of a shame as I would consider that an essential. There is a 7-11 close by though so I would just stock up beforehand. Also the dorm toilets were not very clean, which is down to the guests but perhaps more checks from cleaners/staff would be helpful.

Great value for money, you really can’t complain when you’re paying £4 a night, it also has a and nice pool area.

They turn the air-con off between 1pm to 4pm ,that suck ,big time. They didn't do that four years ago, when I first came, nor that they did it a year ago, the hottest time time of the year, during the worst time of the day. Big disgrace !!!!
