How the food/drink prices could have been cheaper from travelling around other places in Thailand that was definitely the most we’ve spent on food and drinks.

The facilities were outstanding. Rooms spacious. Good gym and lovely pool and sun lounges. The hotel do a shuttle to there local beach club.

The photos are misleading and the ‘beach’ is part of the hotels sister hotel. Told we would get ‘VIP discount’ to arrive and the prices were extortionate. Other than that it’s a lovely place to stay

Nothing it’s just fabulous!

This is our second stay and we love it here. The rooms are a good size and the beds / PILLOWS are the most comfortable on the entire island ( for real though ) The food here is fantastic quality, tasty and a diverse selection of. The kitchen staff are so kind and attentive truly. We will always stay here on our Koh Samui visits .

Unfortunately the food. And we tried many different options form the Pad Thai to pizzas and burgers, everything was below average. Same as the cocktails they mostly felt like juice with ice.

The room and staff were fantastic. The room was super clean at all times and we actually stayed twice at this boutique hotel before and after our trip to the islands.

Everything was tops for us at this resort the food and room was as expected we enjoyed the large pool with floating lounges and the spa beds that are built in also the Beach club was also very well appointed we went and had some Drinks while the kids enjoyed the Jetski hire from the beach club, The Airline lost our bag and the hotel staff followed this up even calling the Airport and Airline on my Behalf which was deliverd to the hotel This was over and above for us and allowed us to continue to Koh Tao as planned , Thanks so so much a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

The safe didn’t work properly

The resort restaurant had some nice vegan options including lentil soup and falafel wraps. The pool’s very spacious and clean and we had a good swim in the early morning to avoid the crowd. The gym had great quality equipments and AC. It’s a few kilometers away from the Elephant Sanctuary in Koh Samui. If you have time, definitely check out the sanctuary and support the local effort to enhance the wellbeing of elephants.

The bathroom is a bit small

Everything was fine

During our three-week trip through Thailand we spent a few days in this fantastic resort - which turned out to be one of the most pleasant stays. We loved the overall design of the resort down to the smallest details. I could spend days photographing the interiors, the garden and the pool area. They a real treat for the eye. The rooms are beatiful, very comfortable and well soundproofed. The restaurant, which serves a selection of international meals as well as Thai - which we often try - was a delight. A good option is to attend a cooking course here. The Resort has a fantastic Beach Club with reserved sunbeds and an infinity Pool for hotel guests in the middle of a beautiful beach full of coconut trees. The service is top notch and we were made to feel very comfortable. All in all, one of our best stays in Thailand.

Everything was perfect

This resort is immaculate. I have had the most amazing experience here. From the moment I arrived, the staff have been so hospitable, welcoming and friendly. Huge thank you to Nine, Nami and Apple in particular. These three made me feel so special, especially as a solo traveller. The room is like a mini palace, clean, cosy and has all you need. Really love the minibar. The food is exceptional and the pool also had the best live singer during the day. I also booked the signature Lanna massage during my stay, I can quite honestly say this was the best massage I have ever had. The resort also offers a shuttle service from the airport which is fantastic. I am so excited to come back to stay, I love Chi Samui Resort so much.

Deposit is annoying because they do not block the amount of 5000 Baht they charge it and refund it, which cause currency and exchange fees :-(

If I had to find a negative it would be location. It’s about 10 minutes walk to town/beach including a busy road with no pavement. It’s not a big deal, but thought I would mention. The hotel area is very quiet….away from the busy road

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Bangrak beach but 45 minute walk to Fisherman’s Village where most of the best restaurants and night markets are. The main road is extremely busy with little to no shoulder to the road making it very challenging to walk anywhere so we rode the songthaews (red trucks) to get to Fisherman’s Village. The food at the hotel restaurant was considerably more expensive than most restaurants along the beach so instead of spending more time at the hotel pool, we spent most days at a nearby beach club that had a great pool and delicious food at more reasonable prices and had beach access. Only when we were checking out did we see a sign in the office indicating that they offer credits when you spend a certain amount at the restaurant…..no one told us about this when we checked in. Would have been nice to know….

Stayed here for 9 nights in February 2024 and we enjoyed our stay here. We had a room on the first floor and enjoyed the convenient access to the pool. The rooms are spacious with excellent showers, air conditioning, a sofa and microwave. Lots of poolside loungers with choice of full day shade or sun. The hotel was full but we couldn’t hear any sounds from the surrounding rooms. Zero street noise as the hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the busier streets and from Bangrak Beach. There’s a decent gym which we used most mornings but it tends to get very hot by 10:30am as it has a glass ceiling and is all windows. We didn’t opt for the breakfast option but from what we saw it was extensive with lots of options.

That people would put out their towels by the pool lounges to save them, making us miss out. Nothing to do with Lanna property or staff though.

The pool was a highlight, especially having a garden view room which opened up to walk to the pool. Great choices on the menu- I had the chicken salad every night, the staff are helpful with any requests eg: booking a taxi, tours and anything required for the room. Loved the pool cushions that you can float on in the water! A bonus was the daily complimentary yoga. Good to invest in transport to get around, or you can walk 10-15 minutes to reach a chemist, 7-11, liquor store and other cafes.

If I had to be really picky, I would say our room could do with a little touch of paint to get rid of a few small scuff marks but that is it!

From the minute we got in our taxi from the airport we were made so welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms, the grounds and the pool have been thought about carefully to cater for your every need. The staff were incredible with us and our young children to the point we felt comfortable letting our 11 month have cuddles with the staff while we ate breakfast. Every member of staff was great, so respectful and professional. They worked tirelessly in the background to ensure the hotel was clean, the grounds were kept tidy and even the greenery was kept perfect. This was all done without you really noticing. All in all a wonderful stay, highly recommend as a solo traveller, couple or family. We will certainly be revisiting.
