We had a few problems with the room- the main one was that the balcony door had gaps so we had “wind tunnels” that made super loud noise every night- we had to put towels on the gaps. The sheets had stains on them. The pool is nice but doesn’t have a lot of places to sit.

The location is on the edge of the main walking street so it’s nice and quiet. The pool is great and breakfast was delicious! Most of the stuff were very nice. Water and teabags on every morning.

The rooms were very spacious & always clean. The pool area is lovely & also had a private beach part. Jenny and Nancy in reception were so lovely- they accommodated us when we needed to book extra nights at the hotel and always made sure we had everything we needed.

It is hot returning to the room after the AC has been turned off because I had to remove the electricity key.

I booked an extra price for a "view on the sea" and ended up having a view between two other buildings/rooms, with a big rock in the middle. I couldn't appreciate the balcony because everyone at the pool had a direct view on it..

The Deluxe room was comfortable with a large bathroom. The pool was appreciated.

The buffet is partly outside so be aware of flies - the pool was a little green but was not a problem as the sea/beach is only 2 minutes away!

The property was in an ideal location only a 10 minute walk from the pier and 2 minute walk to stunning beaches and bars. The food included was good and was a standard buffet. There was air conditioning and you are given two free bottles of water a day - we did upgrade and the room was worth it as the balcony had an amazing view of the mountain and provided a bit more space. The staff will only come and enter your room if you leave the key at the reception which made us feel more secure. There is also a free shuttle ride to the pier on departure.

It is nos really beachfront, I mean, it is but there are a lot of rocks, and a very small peace of sand. For the beach you need to walk 150mts approx

The breakfast was very good, 200 bath each morning to be paid in the reception AC works well, they give small water every day in the room, soap shampoo and Conditioner. Also a beach bag to bring your personal belongings to the beach very useful. They offer a taxi to go to the pier in different hours for free as well.

The bathroom had an unpleasant smell and that was because there was an open drain on the floor. The sink pipes weren't connected to anything which meant the water just flowed straight to the bathroom floor and towards the open drain. Not very nice. The mattress was very, very uncomfortable! Mattresses are usually hard in Thailand, but this was on another level. Also it didn't feel very private or safe since the door was just a big sliding window covered by a curtain, and you could hear everything outside. I tried to use the pool one morning but the water wasn't clean and it had a bad mouldy smell.

The location was good, very close to sairee beach and all the restaurants. The room was a good size and had a fridge and a kettle. It was clean and the staff were prompt to help when I had issues with the AC one day. It started leaking water and as soon as I made them aware, there was someone in the room fixing it and housekeeping cleaning the floors from all the water. They also do a free taxi back to the ferry which is handy.

The water pressure was a little low and there was construction work nearby that was very loud but other than that it was wonderful.

I recently stayed at the Koh Tao Heritage Hotel and had a generally pleasant experience with a few notable points. The hotel boasts a great location, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings of Koh Tao. The breakfast provided was quite good, offering a nice variety of options to start the day. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The room itself was spacious and clean upon check-in, which was a great first impression. However, during my three-night stay, I did not receive room service. When I requested it, I only received new towels. This was a bit disappointing, as I expected more regular housekeeping (at least when it's requested). Additionally, while the room was comfortable, it could benefit from some renovations to freshen up its appearance and amenities. Overall, Koh Tao Heritage Hotel offers a good stay with its prime location, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. However, improved housekeeping and room updates would enhance the guest experience.

- no room cleaning or signs to hang on the door. Have to request at reception. It would be best to stop providing bags of coffee sachets every day as it is a waste. - our door was broken and we reported it, someone turned up to fix it but their drill was broken and never came back. Reported to reception again but nothing was done. Many mosquitos came to our room because of the gap and because it could open easily even when the lock was applied.

The best buffet breakfast I’ve ever had in all of my travels! Super comfy beds. Lovely pool area right on a private beach cove and pool towels offered at reception. All of the staff were really kind. Free taxi to the pier was a great addition. Water and toilet roll offered every day.
