The location can be hard to reach and you do need a car/scooter to easily reach Ko Jum Centre. That was not a problem for me and my partner but could be if you have mobility issues.

Oon Lee is a little piece of heaven in Thailand. The whole experience was superb and you feel like part of the family! The hotel is small and you are well taken care of throughout your stay with good food, drinks and prompt tour bookings.

OonLee Bungalow is a beautiful place to calm down, relax and to fall in love with the wonderful island of Koh Jum. The family who runs the business and all the staff are extremely kind and helpful, the food is great and the Manaobar at the beach offers beautiful sunsets and tasty drinks. If you're searching for a place to find peace and a very cozy and tastefully equipped beach bungalow, you'll just have to come here. I've been here a couple of times already and definitely will come back again. Thanks for everything, Valerie, Oon, Alec and Joey!

W O W It is really hard to explain how heavenly this place is. At first we were not sure, because the way to get to the hotel is somewhat complicated (crew actually comes to pick you up with a truck, which is so badass!!!), but this place really checks all the marks. It is the place at the end of the road, deep in the forest, so you can relax away from those other noisy tourists. Beach is very cute and most of the times there is noone around so you can really unwind. Bungalows themselves are very nice and bed is comfortable. There are a lot of things you can do around here, there is bar with pool table, they offer masagges or kayak rental. However what makes this place full of soul are the people, the most friendly and caring crew we met! And don't even get me started on food... what I would give to have this yellow curry for a dinner now... Oh, dreams! It is criminal how good this place is and I hope to come back someday!

the road to the resort is really rough and needs a bit of off road driving skills when renting a motorbike. And the resort is on a steep hill with a lot of steps. For us this was no problem,but if you have difficulties walking or a stroller... And the beach directly down by the resort is nice and sweet, but not really one you want to hang out for swimming. But there are a couple of very nice ones close, even walking distance.

Very lovely resort on a steep hill by the sea. The bungalows are very comfy, large with a nice patio and great view. and very tasteful interior. there is a lovely sunset bar down by the water with great cocktails, sunbeds and a pool table. Massage is available in the resort. the restaurant is fantastic. one of the best for me in Thailand. Everything is very tasty and a lot of French influences and French options. So breakfast is fantastic too. I can only recommend. the owners are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there and will be back.

Rocky beach particularly at low tide made swimming difficult. A few moments when Aircon would have been welcome but generally the breeze was enough to keep us comfortable.

We loved the staff,the food,the sunset cocktails and relaxing vibes. Met lots of other travellers to share experiences. Loved reading on the deck in the hammock with a great view. Superb sunsets with a cocktail. Great boat trip arranged by Joey to Phi Phi Islands for the day, well worth doing! Great value Excellent breakfast

There was only a fan in our bungalow which i prefer but it was very loud and the room stuffy with doors closed. Access to the bungalows is difficult without your own bike or transport, taxis will not take you on the very bad dirt road. Once there it was not easy to leave so you felt a bit captive. Also very steep hillside down to the beach and bar so not for the fainthearted or unfit.

Valery and especially her sons who run the place were super friendly and efficient and helpful. The place is beautiful and the rooms lovely, the restaurant was good and the sunset down at the bar spectacular.

Everything was great. Oon Lee are conscious of resources with water fill ups for bottles. If you go on a daytrip, very useful. We stayed in 3 different bungalows due to the dates (as it was high season) and each one had it's own unique character and every bungalow more than comfortable. Staff were excellent.

Nothing. Location - It is difficult to get to, a stony road, built into the cliffside (about 1-2km). Taxis would take you most of the way, then you could walk along the beach. Lots of steps up from the beach and bar area to the restaurant, wasn’t a problem for me but might be for others.

A lovely collection of pretty bungalows, nestled into a small cliffside and bay. My bungalow was gorgeous, with a patio area, indoor seating space, spacious bedroom and bathroom, with hot water and A/C. Very comfortable and spotless. A Thai and French family run business, with a small restaurant and bar. The restaurant has the most amazing food, and specials of the day. From the bar you can watch the stunning sunsets.

If you're not very sporty, ascending and descending the steps can be challenging.

What a little rustic piece of jewel! Oon Lee is a family-run stay and you can tell they've dedicated their time, love and money on maintaining this place. Everyone was so friendly and sweet, and the place was very well-kept. You do feel like being on a little paradise.

What can I say that hasn't been said already about this beautiful and magical place? If you are looking for a dream relaxing vacation on an island, look no further, this is IT. From the moment we arrived, I felt so happy and at peace. The Bungalow is so nice, I wish it was my home. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite, always up for a little chat. The food and drinks were delicious. Beautiful sunset spot. They have really sweet and well taken care off dogs at the resort, too, which I loved. Also their facilities are quite sustainable in terms of green traveling. Leaving was the saddest moment of our trip so far. We will be back! ❤️

There are problems with the energy supply, meaning that also phone network and internet could not be available for long periods of time during the day. The bungalows are in a beautiful location but a bit isolated (there is a bumpy uphill dirt road or a long walk on the beach to get to the main road) so you may be limited to the hotel restaurant (amazing food, slightly pricey compared to the average)

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The food is also very good and everything is fresh. Nice bar by the beach with a pool table, and happy hour at sunset. The beach is deserted most of the time, which is wonderful and totally the opposite of what you get in most other islands. If you are looking for a very peaceful place to spend a few days, this is the location!

Valerie and Oon and their sons Alec and Joey do a great job making their guests feel like personal friends. They are always helpful, taking care of all needs (including transport bookings and trips to nearby locations), and answering all questions. The resort is beautiful, with cozy individual bungalows. It has a very good energy, so I felt totally at home. The restaurant serves a great mix of Thai and European cuisine. The sunset bar just above the beach is a great place to relax at the end of the day while enjoying a drink. Valerie also runs the nearby Pop-Up Café and Shop.
