It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing and friendly. Room service was quick and efficient. The location is perfect on the beach surrounded with pubs and restaurants right on the beach as well. The facilities was amazing with 2 massive adult only pools, one with an awesome pool bar right in the swimming pool where you can order some awesome cocktails, local beers, and snacks.

It would be good for the hotel to inform in advance about 200 dollars deposit that needs to be blocked when check in (cash it credit card only) We didn't know about it but luckily had a card In the early mornings could hear noise from the corridor, people were going for breakfast and tours staring from 6am

The hotel offers many facilities: pools, massages, transfers etc The location is great, just on Kamala beach with access to the beach from the bar zone. The breakfast had many options, some of them were changing from day to day. We got a room upgrade for free with a pool view. We loved the room, it was very spacious and had all the facilities we needed The personnel was kind and polite too.

Weather is very humid

Kamala beach is quiet compared to Patong. Clean spacious room, the pool was gorgeous and clean too, the staff were lovely, close to everything, right by the beach! Breakfast has everything but not the best quality. We ate dinner on special night - wife's birthday and a nice surprise card, flowers, real fruits, thank you Kamala Beach Resort - and watching the sunset, pure bliss.

Location is fantastic. Right at Kamala beach! Swimming pools are great and are plenty of them. Restaurant is good. Adults only hotel if you are not with kids or do not have them you will love it!

As Thailand is a place that rains more often, the hotel doesn't allow smoking in the balcony, so if it rains its a big hassle and even outdoors you can only smoke in designated areas. In order to have a drink and smoke there is only 6 chairs in the entire premises kept for this purpose and being an adult only 4 star hotel it doesn't make any sense that people who smoke have to go through this hassle. We have stayed in many properties 5 start and 4 start and they are more accommodating in smoking in the balcony. Also the bathroom had a weird smell and the breakfast could be improved for a 4 start property. The bakery items were not fresh at all and very less dishes and when you stay there for a longer period you get tired of the same food and the quality of the food should be improved.

We loved the location right on the beach and the swimming pools and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Bizarre procedure with the towels for the pool. You receive 1 towel card which you present in order to get a towel each day. The problem is that 1 towel does not cover even half the sun lounger which is leather so it’s incredibly hot under the sun. They would not give us a second towel even though our legs were getting scalded by the hot leather. I was told I need to go to reception to ask for another towel card. It’s a huge complex and the walk to reception in my wet swimsuit, to wait for reception to be available as it was busy, to get back to the pool took 30 mins out of my day unnecessarily. If you return the towels after 6pm the towel desk is closed and you have to bring the damp towel back to your room to bring it back down the next day to get your towel card back. If you lose your towel card they fine you 1000 baht from your deposit. It’s a shame they have this ludicrous procedure because that is my only complaint, apart from that frustrating inconvenience it is an absolutely amazing hotel! If they insist on only 1 towel per person per day, at least supply towels that cover the length of the dangerously hot sun lounger. It’s really ridiculous and I have never seen anything so stupid in any other hotel in the world.

Daily room service, as long as you do not display DND sign, your room will be refreshed. There was one morning where we was not prepared/ do not expect our rooms to be made but was surprised to find our room refreshed after returning from breakfast.

5 nights with the pool view room, very relaxing nice pool with bar; easy access to Kamala beach. My partner and I enjoyed the relaxing beach vibe, be it morning or evening. There are two 7-11 nearby and many massage parlors if you wish to get a massage. We will definitely come back.

I can't speak highly enough of our time at Sunprime Kamala Beach! The service from all the staff there was simply outstanding, the food was so delicious, so many options to choose from. The curries were out of this world. We ate dinner each night watching the sunset and listening to the waves, pure bliss. Great pools and excellent pool bar with many cocktails to enjoy. Already planning our next trip here.

On the beach and close to town. Adult only environment. Enjoyed reasonably priced massages on the property. Choose from 4 swimming pools. Plenty of choices to where you can unwind or drink at the bar. Loved the activities (eg water aerobics, yoga etc). Found it easy to get a chair by the pool.

Staff super friendly and welcoming, location, location, location. Meals, drinks, spa, pools available on site and even more choices right on the resort doorstep. Right on the beach and the main walkway. Very central for day trips. Adults only an added bonus.

There was a compulsory additional deposit upon arrival as a guarantee, despite the fact that everything was booked through booking.com. This was done on 26th of July. Today 9th of August the amount withheld has not been returned yet , plus currency exchange fees i was charged. This is bothersome.
