Small hill to climb up to the bungalow- but it kept us fit, mattress was a bit hard

The surrounding area has quite a lot of steep hills so I’d recommend a motorbike. Maybe something to think about if you are uncomfortable with driving one.

Staff were super friendly and helpful! The pool was great and you could use any time you liked. The site had washing machines, a restaurant and motorbike hire. We loved the restaurant and came every day for breakfast, as well as dinner on our first evening. Lovely balcony with a hammock and sea view. I thought the room was nicer than the pictures shown!

- the swimming pool is open 24h - the food was great and cheap - it's right next to one of the best beaches on the island - the staff was helpful and friendly - totally loved the hammock!

When I stayed there, there was construction noise from several sides, which was a bit annoying. But other than that I really enjoyed my stay.

The view from the balcony was stunning and I had one of the lower bungalows so there was nothing disrupting my view. The hosts were so lovely and friendly. The cafe also had good food and drinks. The location was great, too, since its just a few minutes walking from the beach and the next 7/11. Its best to rent a scooter though.

For this price it's fine but there could be at least kettle in the bungalov to make tea or coffee.

Water in bathroom regularly dissappeard for around 5-10 minutes. So having a shower sometimes wasn't too comfortable. I'm not sure if all bungalows have the same problem. Also note that, bungalows are up the hill, so for some people it might be difficult to climb up from the beach. During our stay we had a scooter, so it solved this incovience as we were able to park our bike next to our bungalow.

Stunning view from the balcony! Super nice host. They have restaurant and serve great breakfast, they also rent scooters if you need one. We would definately stay here again!

Beautiful, clean room with a fan. Cool balcony with stunning view, hammock, table and two chairs. You can see and hear the waves from there and singing of birds all around is amazing. Around 10 minutes walk to the beach an 7-11. Nice options of Thai food directly in their restaurant. The room gets hot during the day of sunny days, but was not a problem for me as I was mostly out. Okay during night.

The pool area could be improved by installing umbrellas and adding more cushions to the sunbeds.

I had a great bungalow with a wonderful view. Peaceful and quiet grounds. Large comfortable bed. Simple furnishings but all you needed. Bella the host is super friendly and helpful, just like everyone working there.

The bathroom was very basic and could do with an upgrade. On Tuesday nights the bar next door has a big party so it was noisy

Beds were comfortable, we paid for a bungalow with an ocean view which was definitely worth it! The bungalows were not crammed together so there was no noise from other guests.

I would've loved to have a mosquito net because I had no ac but fan and cannot sleep with the room closed. The pool is great but too hot to stay there.. Some umbrellas would be great ❤️ Food is good but the man in the house is a bit grumpy... Not saying hello.. Maybe if he was more friendly more people would eat there ♥️

Lovely family who run the bungalows. We had a nice bungalow overlooking the sea with a hammock. Rooms are basic but perfectly fine for a few days. Nice pool which was always empty. Food is delicious and very good prices. Loved Haad Yao and can’t wait to come back again.

I think the only thing I would have liked would have been a newer shower head, with a better mount for it to go where you want it to.. but it was adequate for my needs. There was no TV, but I didn't care. I wasn't in KP to watch TV!

Staff are very friendly and helpful! Location was good with an amazing view. The steep hill to some of the rooms may not suit everyone, but easy to get to if you're confident on a motorbike. Room was clean and fairly spaced away from other rooms, giving a little more privacy. The balcony with the hammock was so good to enjoy the quiet peacefulness, day or night. The bed was very comfortable, with a brand new mattress. Lots of big windows in the room, to enhance the views. The AC did it's job and the fridge kept any fruit/drinks cool. The restaurant has a fairly good variety of freshly cooked food. There are pay- to-use laundry facilities, but I didn't use them. All of my food and drinks were added to my room allowing me to pay one bill, which I preferred. From what I recall, the WiFi was adequate. But I also had a Thai sim.(always worth the money..I recommend AIS, top it up using the App) The pool is a nice way to chill in the evening with a beer.

My fan had the rotating switch broken so it blew one direction only and made me cold some nights. Also there is loud dance party every friday until midnight close by so if you're early sleeper, avoid it on Fridays :)

The seaview was amazing. Sunset at the palm of your hand every day! Pool is neither the largest nor the coldest but it has stunning view and clean water.

nothing! it was perfect - we will be back in January!

We loved it here! First of all we stayed in a Fan room but it was so insanely hot we had to sleep with the door open… this wouldn’t be such an issue if you’re travelling in high season but we stayed in one of the hottest months in Thailand (during a heatwave)… we then upgraded to an aircon room and couldn’t fault it at all. Comfy, the most incredible sunset view you could ask for, friendly English-speaking staff who also cook the best food and coffee at their restaurant. Wifi was good enough to work! It really feels like home away from home! You can also rent a bike for 200 a day 😄
