Directly across from the beach the location was perfect with wonderful views. Staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful and incredibly welcoming. Restaurant had good choices, mostly vegetarian but with other options so you weren't restricted.

Very nice and healthy eco lodge at the sunset side of the island. Lovely staff and a nice little gym. Food was very good as well. Need a bike of scooter to go around the island from here.

There isn’t anything to not like.

The accommodation is so unique and very spacious / comfortable. Food was excellent and if you aren’t vegetarian or vegan there are other options. Plenty of healthy options and good value for money. We loved the dogs and cats around the place.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, but it takes 20 min. on their scooters (which is cheap) to the beaches but thats just fun and a great experience to discover the island that way!

The menu was simple and very tasteful. They had the thaifood that you are looking for and the breakfast acaibowls was delicious and colourful! They also had their sweet and cuddly cats Luna, Foo and King as well as their two sweet dogs! The room/bungalows was a great design and all had aircon!

The third “bed” really was not comfortable and quite small (though we are very small too). The location is a bit far away from the other areas of the islands so you need to rent scooters (this is also what we loved about this place!)

This place is truly beautiful and feels very special. Peaceful location, with sunset view, and a very calm atmosphere. The staff is very helpful, special mention to Som O who was always available for our questions.

A structure that fully reflects the mood of Kao ya noi. A project more than just a hotel, absolutely successful. Their cuisine is also really delicious to try not only at breakfast.

Jaiyen is a beautiful resort and the staff are very professional and friendly. Somo ensured everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end and Yak took care of all of our transport (we opted for the semi-private option) and an epic island hopping day trip on a private long tail boat visiting the breathtaking natural beauties of Phang Nga Bay. The chef makes delicious food and was flexible to prepare packed breakfasts and lunches. The location was perfect for us, a quiet corner of the island yet still close to some local restaurants and shops. The busier town is just a scooter ride away. The cocoon was cute, spacious and authentic surrounded by tropical nature, and the infinity pool and outdoor gym overlook the sea and neighboring islands - perfect for chilling in the sunset! Definitely recommended!

This resort was perfect for a peaceful stay on a quiet island. Staff were great and friendly. It’s not located near bars and restaurants but you can rent a scooter and the food at the resort was delicious. The domes were gorgeous with painting supplies provided. The swimming pool was great too.

I expected more available offers to attend at the resort: yoga, massage,...

The staff was extremely warm and welcoming. They helped with every request to make our stay pleasant. F.e. Arranging the trip from/to the airport. Recommendations about attractions in the area. Scooter rental. The rooms/domes are spacious, amazingly close to the jungle with birds, butterflies and the sounds of it. Balconies for star gazing. And it is worth to mention the lovely cats.

It is a little further away from the “main” area of Koh Yao Noi, but if you are able to drive a moped, it is about a 20 minute slow ride to the more “popular” beaches and main area. It may just be a bit difficult if you aren’t comfortable riding a moped.

Absolutely loved staying here, and was easily the highlight of my entire stay in Thailand! The staff were all extremely helpful, with good customer service and great English speaking skills. The daily breakfast was absolutely delicious too. The three cats that the owner has are so cute, friendly and love daily cuddles, which made me never want to leave! And a huge bonus- it is close to the beach and has a gorgeous infinity pool which looks out directly onto the beach, absolutely stunning! Would highly recommend this place, and I cannot wait to go back!

Property is beautiful , top part of the island. Pool is small and sweet and Domes are nicely separated from each other. The main area was comfortable and very friendly and hospitable staff. Hiring a Scooter on site is recommended.

The beaches are not very good for swimming on the whole west side of the island, but hotel is renting scooters, you can drive to east side of the island, where you can find places to swim during the high tide. A small table and sunshade to the "cocoons" terrace would be nice.

Peaceful small hotel with very friendly staff. In the night time you just hear the nature. I slept very well and deep. Nice sun sets. The swimming pool is fine. Rooms are very clean and maintained well. Very helpful staff. Hotels vegetarian food might get after while little bit "thin" for non-vegetarian, but there is a good restaurant "Coco Bay Cafe" just beside the hotel.

Everything was perfect, if I had to name one thing that could be improved are the prices for food and drinks, I totally understand that this is a hotel but compared to regular prices in Thailand for food I find it a bit extreme (double to triple the prices compared to regular Thai restaurants on the island). The food was delicious :).

I had the most amazing time at Jaiyen! It’s perfect if you are looking for a place to relax and connect with nature, a quiet place on the lovely Koh Ya Noi island to recharge. Absolutely beautiful ocean view and fantastic staff.

Such a peaceful and calming place surrounded by nature. You can tell it has been created with a lot of love. Staff was lovely as well and helped out with everything we needed. All the breakfast and dinner options we tried were really yummy and healthy. As mentioned by other reviewers, you might be visited by some adorable cats and dogs looking for cuddles :-) We thorougly enjoyed our time at Jaiyen Eco Resort and would love to come back some time! Note that Jaiyen is on the quieter side of the island, so your best way of getting around will be to rent a scooter which they have available (about 20 mins to get to the swimmable beaches).

The staff was very polite and friendly, but they barely spoke English. Only one spoke English with us, but was hard to understand.

Very clean and beautiful place. The cocoons were so cozy, the view was exceptional and the staff polite. The food was good, but only vegetarian. The costs were higher than elsewhere, but absolutely worth the experience.

From the moment we arrived it was the warmest of welcome onto the island. The transfer we booked through jaiyen was stress free! An amazing property with great scooter rentals and the staff were always excellent.
