Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaThe location is little bit far away from the Ao Nang Beach.
Cleanliness in the property and in this price range the stay was value for money. I booked this hotel with twin bed for 2 night in just 1300 Bhat. The hotel will also arrange the scooter for 24 hours on the other hand the local vendor will give the score rent for a day that is 12 hours.

IsraelWould have preferred a slightly higher level of coffee. This seems to be a reoccurring issue in Thailand at cheapish hotels. Another negative comment would be the quality of the internet in my room. it was slow. other than that great value and would stay there again.
The room was big, clean and comfortable. Certainly value for money. Breakfast was fine. There are a few local restaurants close by and had a great meal for very little money. Also a lovely pub not far away.

ThailandThe only downside is that it is a little bit out of the way. However, they did offer a shuttle service to the town centre and Ao Nang. Also the breakfast options were a little limited.
The room was absolutely beautiful, lovely comfortable bed and such good value for money!

IrelandOn arrival the staff at reception had communication issues, we were told that we couldn’t pay cash at the hotel, they pointed to a shuttle bus flyer but didn’t tell us when or where it went, when we got out key for the room they just pointed at the lift so we had to go find our room rather then being told what floor it was on, after finding the room the key didn’t work so we went back down and told reception and they just stared at me with blank faces eventually got the key sorted. We dropped the bags in the room and went to look around the pool and other facilities, the pool was dirty and full of leaves, the gym lacked equipment and smelled really bad like it had never been cleaned. The area around the hotel is unkept and smelled really bad. So we went back to the room The safe wasn’t working and when we rang reception they advised us the technician was finished for the day and to call back in the morning. The next morning we went down to reception to say about the safe, the technician arrived and apparently fixed the safe while we went to get coffee but when we arrived back to the room the safe was still not working! I honestly don’t know how this hotel is highly rated we thought of leaving after we had arrived but decided to stay as it was only a short stay and was relatively close to the airport! Definitely would not recommend staying here!!
Very little the only that was good was the WiFi, the room was surprising clean and they were able to do laundry for us. There is a 7 Eleven right beside the hotel might be the best thing about it!!

South AfricaI recently had the misfortune of staying at The pineapple hotel , which boasted impressive online pictures and amenities. However, the reality was far from what was advertised. Check-in was efficient, but the room was a letdown. The cleaning products used were overpowering, and the facilities were old and poorly maintained. The bathtub had no plug, which was a significant issue for me as I had specifically booked the hotel for this amenity. The staff offered no solutions, only suggesting a room change, which would not have addressed the problem as none of the rooms had functional plugs. Furthermore, the hotel advertised ironing services, but when I needed to use them, I was told they were only available during certain hours, which was not communicated during check-in. This was disappointing, as I needed to prepare my outfits for the next day. The shower was another issue, with low water pressure and cold water. After bringing this to the attention of the staff, they offered no solutions, and the manager was unresponsive. We requested to speak with her, but she sent a security guard instead, which was unhelpful. Eventually, she offered an upgrade to a different building, but the new room had two single beds, which was not an upgrade from the deluxe room I had booked.
Nothing as it was all false advertising

United KingdomWe had such an awesome stay at the Pineapple hotel! All the staff were super friendly and helpful in giving us a list of places of interest, local museums, and restaurants etc. The room had a great view overlooking the pool, and was spacious and clean with bottles of water every day. The hotel also offered a free shuttle service to places such as the market in Krabi and also to Ao Nang, both drop off in the morning and pick up in late afternoon. It saved us trying to organise taxis through Grab or Bolt, so it such a great help! Would highly recommend and will be staying there again the next time we are in the Krabi area - 5/5

GermanyOK for a small city hotel. But we didn't try the breakfast or pool.
Located on a main road going out of Krabi. Not easy to get there without a car. There is a 7Eleven next door. For the price and one or two nights while passing through, it's OK.

United KingdomNot the hotels fault!!! Booking.com please take note: when booking 2 or more rooms together (double or twin) the bed selection option is not there as the selection option you give is about changing the room altogether I.e. for deluxe to superior. Because there's multiple rooms together we lose tje bed selection on each room To anyone reading this and wanting to book 2 or more, book them separately under your name and this should remedy it
The staff was very welcoming and accommodated my room selection when there was an issue with booking.com They have a pool which is big and clean. The beds were nice and soft

UkraineWe booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. There were only 2 pillows on our bed. When I asked for one more pillow the personel of the hotel demanded additional 80 baht per additional pillow per night. When I said I will contact booking.com and ask if it is appropriate I was told that it’s ok and they will bring me the pillow for free. It was not possible to borrow a needle as I was redirected to buy it at 7/11. When I complained about a horrible smell in the bathroom I was also suggested to purchase myself air freshener at 7/11. My husband had to clean the pool of the leaves himself before we could swim there. The hotel is more of a parking lot with a swimming pool and unpleasant personel.
We didn’t buy breakfast. Internet was ok.

United KingdomIn the worse location possible, I have been around Thailand for a month and this was the worse one for location because it’s 30 minute drive anywhere. I’d recommend staying with their partners hula hula @ AO nang beach. The location is much better and ran by the exact same people:).

United Arab EmiratesRooms are very old. Bed is hard like you sleep on concrete. There was no buffet for breakfast, but to choose your meal when you are checking in. The club sandwich you get is not enough to feed a child.
The hotel is ok if you are looking for a lower price and for one or two nights.
