Swimming pool could have been cleaned more often. The location is too far from the centre to walk or cycle. A taxi ride is definitely needed.

Beautiful and relaxing place which reflected Thailand perfectly. Room was very big with a sofa and double bed. The bathroom was a great size with enough room for 2 people to move around. The room was wonderfully decorated. Breakfast was Asian influenced with something different to try every day. Some would say the choice was limited compared to big hotels but I found the choice and quantity more than enough.

Incredibly beautiful property, the plants around the beautiful pool, the rooms are large and beautifully decorated with own seating area, hotel is full of beautifully decorated spaces. Breakfast area was even more stunning than the rest if that is even possible. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Lastly, the staff was exceptional, doing everything they can to make your stay perfect which it was. We LOVED this place !!!!

I actually can't think of anything we didn't like. It would have been nice to be able to purchase a beer or cocktail by the pool but that's because I'm stretching to find something to write here.

This property was such a great place to stay. It was easy to walk to places to eat and if we wanted or needed to go further the staff were so happy to order a Grab taxi for us. The bed was the most comfortable bed and pillow that we encountered during our stay to Thailand. The room was beautiful, there was plenty of variety at the breakfast buffet and the staff were so happy to help us with anything. Even the pet cat Panda was friendly ;) We highly recommend this property.

The staff are just wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. I know the location is not really convenient specifically for us tourist who like to walk to cities and site seeing area or old town but I choose to stay in Hongkhao because i like to go to a place that is calm, you felt relax after all busy day activities, property is spotlessly clean and cozy

Be mindful that the distance to the center is 15mins bij taxi. Though the breakfast itself is tasty, the choice is relatively limited. Also, we noticed the room was quite noisy as we could hear everything from the guests above us.

It’s a cosy hidden gem in Bangkok. The room was spacious and well decorated and furnished. The pool is also a plus.

An oasis of calm and comfort. All the details that make for a great stay. Mosquito coils lit under the tables, lots of very comfortable places to relax, including outside the room. Great WiFi, amazing staff, fabulous breakfast and an awesome pool. Would thoroughly recommend for solo travellers, couples and families. Very quiet at night. All round, best place I've stayed.

It’s hard to mention anything really, but we booked one room to travel with small kids and that meant they slept in the same room as us, however, it was possible to close a small curtain between the two beds. It’s possible to order a limited selection of drinks on the property but some snacks would’ve been nice too, but you can use grab for that.

The property is beautiful, well maintained, and a bit outside of town but easily accessible by grab/bolt/tuktuk. The room and bathroom were beautiful. The pool is great and our kids and we loved it. Breakfast was diverse!

We had a squirrel in the ceiling, it woke me up a couple of times during the night. But the hotel is basically in the jungle so some animal wild life is to be expected.

Very helpful staff. Nice location, quiet and not too far away from the old city central - 5 min taxi to the moat. Nice pool area with lush green plants.

The grounds are a bit small and I struggled with the latex pillows (I'm simply not used to them). These are things I overcame quickly as the grounds are stunning and the staff amazing and the place so peaceful.

I've traveled to Chiang Mai many times and this place was a highlight hidden gem I will always remember and even return to. One of my favorite hotels in Chiang Mai. The pool, grounds, food, decor are all stunning. It's a beautiful, peaceful property tucked away from the city, yet still close enough by taxi. The staff are so friendly.

Our stay at Hongkhao Village was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always available to help and provide great recommendations. Our room was very comfortable, offering a cozy and relaxing environment. Breakfast each morning was good, with a good variety of options and always served by smiling, attentive staff. The pool was perfect for our kids, providing a great spot for them to play and cool off. We highly recommend Hongkhao Village for an enjoyable stay.
