not problematic but the curtains are not the most private and the bed cover up that was given us it was like a huge towel but we made it work just fine!

it was beachfront and the bungalow was perfect. ac worked just fine and everything was clean. there are cooking utensils but we were missing pots and the lady got us some really quick. there’s motorbike rental for just 150 baht a day.

I'd say that I would improve services at the reception, as one of the manager speaks only Thai and it can be difficult to find her and communicate with her at times. Some of the pots and pans were not really in a good state or very clean, but luckily we had brought with us our pot and a pan. Since the place caters most to young families, it would be lovely if they could provide crib beds and high chairs, which instead they didn't have. Also, some bungalows don't have a screen door with a mosquito net, while some have.

Hanalei Gardens has a fantastic position, just close to the beach, and its bungalows are set in a lovely, lush garden. The bungalows are very simple, but they are clean and have exactly everything that is necessary, nothing more and nothing less: good ventilation system (one air con and a couple of fans), a working and well-equipped clean kitchen, a shower at the entrance to clean your feet and avoid bringing the sand inside (something that the much more expensive hotel next door doesn't have). Khun Julie was very kind and helpful, she speaks good English and was really a pleasure to have around

The wifi is terrible if you wish to work... The interior is very dark, so you feel like always wanting to have the lights on.

This is a gem!!! Far away from the craziness of fishermen village or Lamai. Very relaxing house. It is bigger than the pictures, what a nice surprise. The staff is very friendly and you can rent scooters directly there. Also you are 20s walk from the beach!!!

The hotel exceeded all expectations! The bungalow turned out to be larger than we expected. The location of the hotel is very good, it's quiet and beautiful. Also has its own clean beach. I really like this hotel!

WiFi, but seems to dpend on the location (Mobile Net was also unreliable). Essentials (shower gel etc.) were missing. Road was blocked for maintanence without notice.

It's an excellent group of private detached bungalows in a tranquil and secluded spot. The people who run it are gentle and kind. They are not pushy or intrusive. It's all very relaxed and beautiful. Great place to relax: nice garden, direct access to the beach, spacy bungalows. Not crowded beach with white sand. If you like to rather remote places and easy style, this is the right place for you.

The bungalow was dark inside but that didn't bother me really, it just added to the atmosphere. The only reason I wouldn't return to this property is because I didn't like the restaurants in the area - there were only a few which were expensive and the staff were not friendly - an absolute first in Thailand! It was as if they were reflecting a run of rude customers because, as I said before, it is a first in Thailand, that the staff should be unfriendly. I found one good place to eat which was on the way to the 7/11 which was more like an authentic, side-of-the-road restaurant. I'd also say you are much better off with your own transport, like a scooter, as there is no other way of getting around.

The bungalow was stunning - huge and luxurious - the split level layout was great and the furniture was top quality. There was a large kitchen which I didn't use but had everything you might need - pots, pans and utensils. The shower room was also big and very nicely laid out. The grounds were lush vegetation and flowers. The private garden area leading to the lovely beach was very nice and the view, beautiful. There was a 7/11 in walking distance (go in the coolest hours, as it's far to walk in the heat, as there's no shade). I was a solo traveller but I would say that the bungalow would really suit couples or families also. The air conditioning was very effective.

Lovely landscaped gardens really nice terrace to sit . 1 min to beach great sunset location. 711 is up on main road and is only a little walk to mom n pop stores n restaurants Spacious room sofa kitchen comfy bed fresh pillows sheets.

Beds weren't that comfy unfortunately. We also only got really thin sheets as blankets. Aircon was okay but hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. No curtains for the windows only wooden blinds so lots of light came in in the mornings, we were also worried people could see in whilst we were getting changed. Our bathroom window had no blinds/ curtains and looked directly into another cabin. WiFi rarely worked in our room so had to use 4g which had bad signal.

Stunning location. Cabins are right on a beautiful and quiet beach where you can swim and watch the sunset. The cabins have good food making facilities. Really nice area of Koh Samui.
