Cushions for the sun beds would vastly improve comfort.

We stayed in 2 room types during our stay and both were comfortable and enjoyable. It is an extensive property but enjoyable to stroll through and the grounds and gardens are well maintained. Several room types are available from stand alone bungalows, 'hotel' rooms, semis and the original garden bungalows. All well maintained and comfortable. The dining area is no frills relaxed beach vibe with a pool table and there are sun beds on the beach with some shade.

The food overall at bottle beach at all the resorts was pretty rubbish and on the more expensive side.

Clean, big comfortable beds and nice staff. They also provide a taxi pick up and drop off from your location so there is no need to mess around with water taxi’s.

The hotels on the beach are run by generators, so power is removed from your room from 4pm to 6pm. This is no real problem, but just for information. Hotel does not take Visa, this is like most of the island.

My remarks are based on the daily price of £30 for the room. The last mile to the hotel is extremely steep and you will need to use the local taxi, or arrive by boat taxi. The bed was quite hard. The staff could not have been friendlier. Beach is amazing and there are 3 bars/restaurants to use on the whole beach. The view point is a must.

It's quite hard to reach by motorbike.

The location bottle beach is one of the best in phangan although can be difficult to reach. The staff was so nice and funny and the food really tasty. The rooms were big and comfy.

However, reaching this paradise is not without its challenges. The journey involves navigating road, which can be quite difficult. The resort is only accessible by taxi, and if you're traveling by scooter, you'll need to park it on the hill and walk for about 20-30 minutes to reach the resort. the resort does not offer scooter rentals, which might be a drawback for some guests.

Haad Khuad Resort boasts an incredible location just a minute's walk from the beach, making it a perfect getaway for those looking to enjoy the sun, sea, and sand. The serene environment and the close proximity to the beach are undoubtedly the highlights of this resort.

My bungalow was the cheapest one and quite old. The fan made noise. There were ants in the house, despite the spray, but they didn't disturb me that much

The location is amazing! Nice quiet beach with clean white sand, very comfortable. There is a shadow, restaurants and toiles on the beach. The sea is quiet, no waves. The water is clear and transparent . Good for swimming. Lovely atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. During the happy hour in the bar all the cocktails cost 100 baht. Transportation to the beach is complicated enough to avoid crowds of tourists . But if you need you get in and out very easy with the taxi of the resort. Nice trekking nearby with great views. The bungalow is cozy, with the small terrace. The price is very good, especially for Pangan. Will definitely come back!

It is far away from the touristy parts of the island. The access to the place is tough, but who cares, you are in an unbelievable gorgeous beach, with very little people.

Bottle beach! It is really beautiful and calm. Our bungalow was right by the beach. We stayed only 2 nights in Phangan for FMP, I wish I could stay longer in this beach.

… some situations made us feed quite uncomfortable. There was really something weird about money there. Everything was an opportunity to make more money. Expensive transfer (and we had to pay more than everyone else in the pickup because they took us on the road not on the pier… but we were less far away !!). Had to wait 30 minutes for the late taxi then 1hour for late check out, but there was not any offer done and we still had to pay more than everyone else which really felt unfair to me! Then I had on the other day a taxi to the hospital (always paid by my insurance in advance!) and the hotel tried to make me pay 600b and I had to insist not to pay! The Thai man at the phone (who organises everything with insurance and does every paiements) he was really shocked when I told him this. This sounded like a scam somehow. Also very important ! There is no free drinking water there and you have to pay a very expensive price (40b) for a bottle of water !! They were nice and helpful apart from this and I just wish that they realised everyone don’t have a lot of money there …

Bare in mind that the resort is difficult to access, only recommended for experienced motorbike/scooter driver. You can park the bike on the top and walk 2km/25 min to the resort or take a taxi boat from a nearby beach or a 4wd taxi (100baht) from where you parked the scooter. From the main pier it is 300 baht by 4wd The food is regular with small portions but you can find other offer in the resorts closed by.

They could improve the restaurant a bit. The food was good but the place was the less appealing from the three ones at the beach.

I loved the place , isolated and kinda private . For me the best beach in the island. The housekeeping service was very nice , every other day you got a sheet change and fresh towels. The food was good too and I liked a lot to stay in the garden. It was very relaxing.

The air conditioner was not included. They asked for extra money to turn on the air conditioner. The way to the hotel is not easy it requires a special type of a pickup car and in the area of the hotel which is the bottle beach for all people staying in there if you ask for a taxi they are all asking for 300 baht for one way and 300 baht for return for each person! whether you are 2 or 5 or 10 the price is 300 baht for each for one way which doesn't make any sense.

The view was just amazing it was just right infront of the beach! the toilet/ shower area was big and there was both shower area and bath tub. There are restaurants from the other hotels exactly nearby and they were all really delicious. The view is just amazing with the sea and hills.
