Glur Hostel was amazing...we wanted a backpacker hostel for our family of 4 (2xteens) without the party vibe. Glur Hostel definitely ticked that box. The chilled out tropical surroundings were amazing, the pool and rooftop gym great and the communal kitchen was great The double and triple rooms were comfy, spacious for Thai standards and good bathrooms too. The aircon was perfect for the hot sticky days. The hammock was a nice touch outside the room too and there was even a laundry and plenty of drying space. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Glur was far enough out of town to be peaceful and quiet but close enough to walk into town (about 20 minutes) and a cheap tuktuk ride back if too tired to walk up the hill. 7/11, juice bars, roti stalls and massage shop all within 5 minutes walk. Would definitely stay here again

Breakfast is all day. But only toast butter and jam. Common Fridge is packed and smells weird. Also iced. Could need a deep clean. You need at least 30min to walk to the beach. No much shadow over day while walking.

Never had so much private space in a dorm. Pool and common area is nice. Lived the hammocks. Very specious area. The coffee shop and pizza place of glue are great. But pizza is very expensive. But best I had in SEA.

Location is a bit further from the centre, not too far but as a girl alone, I didn’t like going out at night, luckily there were some eatong facilities nearby! It’s not the most sociable hostel, didn’t bother me as I was looking for a nice quiet stay, but if you wanna meer loads of people, this might not be the place.

It’s a little green paradise, loved the pool, the common area, the garden in general. The barhroom was very clean & so practical, by far the best shower I’ve had so far! Amazing how much space you had near you bed, full-size mirror as well & a very spacious locker. Had a great quiet stay, I enjoyed the rest!!

The only downside about the property is the beds were very uncomfortable and you get a blanket to sleep with instead of sheets.

Only stayed one night but 3 of us shared a family room. It was well equipped, comfortable and the surroundings are lovely and green. Shame we didn't get to try the food or use the pool but would definitely come again based on our one night.

Absolutely gorgeous hostel. Perfect if you want a quiet and relaxing vibe to your stay. Dorms were clean and big, as well as the actual ‘bunk’ having lots of room to store belongings, built in mirror and wardrobe. Lovely cafe attached to the hostel with amazing food and free breakfast (toast + tea/coffee). There was also cooking facilities. Location was good, about a 20 minute walk from Ao Nang beach. Would 100% stay again, we were gutted our stay was as short as it was.

I loved everything about this hostel. The room and beds are very big and practical. The mattress is big you have your own cupboard and mirror, the privacy curtains are doings a good job. You don’t feel the other person upstairs moving. The location is perfect in my opinion, You are 20min walking from the beach which allow you to be outside of all the noise and tourists. But you have all amenities you need in the same street, 2 bike rentals, 1 laundry, bars and restaurants. The pool is the cherry on the cake, really good for refreshing after a long day and the view with the trees and mountains are just so relaxing. The common area is all new and decorated in a chill atmosphere. Can only recommend !

This place is so cute. The common space was lovely, lots of plants and flowers. It’s much more serene than the rest of town. Feels like a little oasis.

Really spacious rooms with a good outdoors area (patio, hammock and drying racks), good air con and en-suites. Hostel was very peaceful and quiet in the evenings / night. Free water refills - a massive benefit On site washing machine (40 baht per wash) and large communal drying area Kitchen area - including free bread for breakfast and ability to cook and make smoothies in the blender was a massive plus Nice pool, social spaces and upstairs yoga area. Very helpful staff members and allowed us to check in early after our return from Railay

Super nice staff, great beds (no noise even on the upper bed) with enough room for baggage, enough showers, free breakfast, great location - you can't hear anything during the night, airy common space and lovely pool. Prolonged my stay and definitely will come back.🤍

A little bit of a walk from the beach but not too bad

Really beautiful hotel/hostel with amazing gardens and a lovely little pool. We even saw hornbills from the garden. Comfortable, well equipped room with good character.

Nothing, only thing I can think of is a little feedback for the organisation. The airco was going on and of the whole night in the room. And the beep from this was pretty annoying. This is probably already fixed, but if not, will be the only thing to make this perfect place to stay.

The location is a little far from the beach and night markets, nevertheless it’s still worth it! A lot of mosquitos fly around and come in the room.

The room is very nice and the bed is soft. You have a little front yard with hammock which is nice for chilling. It has a big outside common area with swimming pool and there is all-day toast breakfast. Everything you need! The host was really kind and spoke excellent English!

The room was expensive for the quality. It smelled pretty bad for the first few days, the bathroom drain was blocked and there is no maid service even for long stays.

The hotel grounds, like the kitchen, workspace, and chill out areas are really peaceful and beautiful. It's surrounded by trees and plants. There's good coffee and food on site.
