Nice place near the river is a very chill place to Stay ... U got everything u need in a short distance by foot ... The owners were very friendly and always willing to find solutions for my various outings.

The twin room with a fan was clean, comfortable and equipped with a nice little bathroom. Location is great, located right on the river and walking distance to the main town of Krabi. WiFi really good. Such good value for money

I would recommend this stay. It was great value. I was offered an upgrade for a room with a sea view at a very reasonable price. The room was a good size, very clean and comfortable, with a fridge, good AC and a fan. There was a nice area with shelves and hooks to hang up clothes. The bathroom was great with a good shower and nice liquid soap! The hostel has a communal bar area where you can meet other guests and breakfast is available too. The owner is very nice and helpful. She offered me good advice about getting around and can organise tours and transport to other areas of Thailand. The location was great for me. It was in easy walking distance of the pier, walking street, night markets, cafes, restaurants and very close to 7-eleven which was very handy.

It‘s been my third time in the funky crab. Have been to islands inbetween. It‘s been a perfect base to plan further travels. The owner helped me with bus and boattickets, with my simcard and many other things. The rooms are clean and quiet. Its located at a beautiful riverside but still in short walking distance to the center.

clear and warm recommendation! Super sweet, approachable and helpful owner and very kind and hard-working employe. I immediately felt welcome and taken care of, like when you go to visit a friend. Great, very clean room with a wonderfully relaxing view of the sea river. (not all room have, i think). Great location, everything is within walking distance (pier, food market, shops). thank you for the loving and outstanding hospitality.

The room was clean and well maintained. The fan was enough as it didn’t get too hot. The location is perfect, right on the river for your morning and evening walks, and it’s easy to get to everything in Krabi town. The atmosphere is what I fell in love with. The owner is so warm and welcoming, and all the people I met there were incredible. I made genuine connections and enjoyed every minute of my stay.

The landlady is great. She helped us with transportation to the island, just ask her. She is friendly and very nice :-) We wanted to go back, but unfortunately it didn't work out. We really liked the mood of Funky Crab. Near is one of best night market - highly recommended :-)

Super friendly and helpful hostess! Great selection of board games is really handy if it rains for an hour or two. The bed was comfortable and clean, and they offered to clean our room or change our sheets/towels halfway through our stay. Comfortable chairs in downstairs chilling area, not pictured on the listing is a terrace on the rooftop 2 other levels! So plenty plenty of space to chill. The location was great near food markets, bars and an amazing view of the river right there. If you want to hire a scooter you can do it from right there. Could buy water, coffees, cold drinks right there too.

It rained a lot but we were so close everything it was not a worry.

Close to everything. Owner gave us discounted tours. So cheap. Clean. Great place to stay. Grandson had sunburn. Gave us aloe spray. I will be back.

Sometimes the lady at the desk would go on brake or go away for the reception so extending and trying to arrange transport was difficult. we also got charged an extra 1200 Bart at the end of our stay, even tho we remember paying for each extension upfront. we where late for our buss off payed what they where asking but wernt explained to fully what this was for.

The staff where so lovely welcoming and helpful, asking us about our day and even giveing us advice about sites to see. They offered to help arrange transport to our next location (even tho we didn’t use it) the beds where reasonable and faculties clean all and all the hotel was reasonable for the price

- Bath no wet dry secrion. - We booked balcony and river view but needed to close curtains because there were people blocking our view and constantly staring in our room. - AirCon is not strong and very loud, you get used to it but it is so lound because the outside unit of the ac is located directly under the window thats not fully closeable. - ants in the bathroom - floor of house needs to be stepped on without shoes. So not very hygenic. I guess thats normal for SE asia but just not a fan of it. - You can hear everything and everyine hears what you say

Was great, Staff amazingly friendly. You can talk to them for help on what to do in krabi and sourroundings. Good price for motorbike like elswehere in krabi. Fairly good motorbike condition. Wifi was great, i workd from there. Bath is okay, but no dry or wet secrion so everything is wet. Balcony is accessable to everyone so when u book balcony you might end up someone smoking or chatting in fron tof your window. This review is for the most expensive room, we just expected a bit more for the peice. Other rooms are very basic i guess, dont get caught up. So overall its fair, not crazy good and a bit expensive but hey, still fair amount of money for what you get. Bed is okay, not too comfy.
