Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsWell, the time we visited the accommodation, there were constructions going on. So, we suffered a bit from some extra noise. But I'm sure that the results are an upgrade to the location
A hidden location in downtown Bangkok. The perfect location to start exploring the city. Grand palace, wat Arun and wat pro are really nearby also Khao San Road and be reached by a small walking tour. The pool was great and also the food in the restaurant was excellent. Don't forget to take a nice cocktail.

AustraliaI think the breakfast could have been a little better more fruit to start with, when I was there it was very humid and they didn't have all the fans going in the breakfast area which I thought all of them was needed at that time of year
I like the location which was very handy as most of the major attractions there was all within easy reach, and the map they gave me was very good, the young woman at the desk was always very helpful, coming up the right answer.

ChinaThe MRT could have been a bit nearer. No lift and we were on the 3rd floor. Perhaps not enough seating around the pool. Could have more comfortable seating in the room or just outside it.
Location was not central but I liked the old part of the city and it was near the river and main attractions. Breakfast was varied and consistent, filling. I liked the room, perhaps a little thin walls but overall AC worked well and it was comfortable.

United StatesThe staff was quite neutral, which is okay for a bigger hotel like this. The wifi was pretty slow, and the bathroom at night had an unpleasant smell to it.
The location and the setup is great. The room was very big and spacious, so was the bed in the room. The pool was great. The air conditioning is perfect.

United StatesOur room in particular had a foul odor in the bathroom, otherwise good.
Location was perfect! A 2 minute walk to a 7-eleven, Koh San Road straight down the road but far enough away from the craziness, a beautiful temple across the street, and a pool! Restaurant was nice and they even offer a happy hour.

United KingdomWifi in the room was very spotty despite being given codes by the front desk. (It was more consistent in the pool area.) We were only given one room key and our request for a second was denied; two would have been nice for when the family split up for different activities. Top floor of a four-story walk-up was a challenge in extreme heat. The bathroom was lovely but the shower was a bit difficult to use with different knobs and labels; we never did figure out the temperature control but that was ok because the heat wave made a cool shower just perfect. The pool was nice enough, but it's small and it's shared with the hostel next door so it was consistently fairly packed with young people. Only complaint is that there was no oversight at the pool so when several backpackers were rough-housing in the water — splashing others, diving in against the rules, being generally disruptive — it went unchallenged.
The quad suite with en suite bathroom was spacious for a family of 4. Beds were comfy, everything was clean, air conditioning was good. Our request for extra pillows was immediately granted. Happy Hour by the pool was excellent — 2 for 1 on really well-made cocktails.

AustraliaThe beds were great, but the room was very uncomfortable. The layout and the furniture could improve considerably. The bathroom could be better equipped. The breakfast was generally good, but it could vary occasionally. Finally, the swimming pool's water could be revised. It was too salty and acidic.
The facilities and staff were exceptional, and the vibe was great.

PortugalWe really enjoyed everything! The rooms were simple, very clean and the bed was huge!!! Air-conditioning was very good. The staff were so so nice 🫶 Very helpful. The environment was so calm and relaxing. The swimming pool was also a nice extra, especially for us with a child 👌 There's also a nice pond with so many fishes, they always gave my daughter food so she would feed them.🐟 Our room was number 206, and we had a perfect view of the pool, and it was on the 1st floor, so it was easy access. I would definitely go back and would recommend it 👌 The main temples are quite close, around a 15-minute walk, and there's a 7/11, about 2-minute walk. Thank you, Feung Nakorn staff 🙏🫶

United KingdomIdeally situated for all the major sites. Helpful staff at reception. Friendly staff in the bar/ restaurant and in housekeeping team too. Rooms cleaned daily. Beds are extremely comfortable. Small pool with ample amount of beds for the quick rotation of people during the day. This hotel was an ideal base for our group - long, very hot days of sightseeing, returning back to a clean room and then dipping in the pool.

Location - good - 15-20 min walk from Khaosan Road. 10 min walk to Temples. 10 min walk to Metro. Breakfast OK, but not exceptional. Open plan area really nice to relax and eat. Rooms big, with high ceilings. Beds clean and comfy. Layout pretty good - all facing pool. Pool decent. Can be busy at times. Air Con good (and needed).
