You can only reach the hotel by taxi (they can arrange one for you) or by motor bike. The roads are steep and curvy. That’s how you get to the beautiful view of course, but good to take this into account. There are also a lot of mosquitos (as everywhere on the island), but they have taken good measures for it.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, mostly at the restaurant. They are happy to help you at any moment and for the breakfast you can order as much as you like. The view is stunning, both from the restaurant/swimming pool as from the room. I wish I stayed more than one night!

Really nice personnel. They gave us recommendations and tips for visiting the island, as well as provided many services for us (laundry, motorbike, taxi). Great facilities, especially the infinity swimming pool, and very good food served at the restaurant.

The air conditioning was not functioning effectively, possibly for environmentally conscious reasons, though I'm not certain. I strongly recommend opting for one of the more deluxe rooms, as I think they offer better value with superior views and cooler temperatures. I believe the value for money is somewhat lacking, unless sustainability and secludedness is a high priority for you. The pool, while adequate, is surprisingly basic and shallow. Aside from these points, everything else during our stay was perfect!

We had a wonderful experience from the moment we were welcomed. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, they helped make us feel right at home. The views from the rooms and the pool were breathtaking, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The setting offers a secluded, intimate jungle vibe that's ideal for couples. Comfortable bed, and the shower comes with a great view. While we might not return because it wasn't quite the right fit for us personally, the hotel accurately reflects what it advertises to be.

What a great stay! The stuff is super friendly and helpful, since there are not many rooms it’s always very chill and quiet at the resort and you can escape from the hustle on the island! It’s not far away from the city Centre of Koh Tao, just a short (and scenery) ride with the motorbike

The airco wasnt working well. The room was during the day too hot to stay in. During the night it was ok, but still around 30 degrees. Our neighbours had the same issue. We stayed in room nr. 1. I would advise to book the bigger room as they are located more in the shadow during the day. Otherwise everything was perfect during our stay!

The staff was very friendly and the service was very good! Ecotao is located in the mountains where you can escape the busy walkingstreet. The pool is very nice and there is always a bit of wind to cool you down.

What an amazing place. From the moment we arrived it was like paradise. We were warmly welcomed by Camila who was an amazing host during our whole 6 days. The accommodation was spotless and the views were amazing. The bar/restaurant food was outstanding and the staff were lovely especially Naing who went out of his way for us. We would recommend Eco Tao to any couples who want a beautiful/peaceful stay in Koh Tao 💛

There was nothing we didn't like, we loved everything about our stay. It's a very peaceful and quiet place to relax. The common Area is very nice with a stunning view over the island, excellent food and drinks and great staff. You can really see they make an effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I like that it's a very small resort (best suited for couples) and you can really relax. The room is very nice too, great view and everything you need. It's really on top of the mountain in the jungle, there is nothing around that could disturb this paradise

We were a little disappointed by the seaview of the room, the pictures on booking only show the views from the upper houses perfectly facing the sea. You can hear everything from the neighbours next door and the shower was either too hot or cold.

Very beautiful resort inside the mountains, we liked the design and surrounding jungle. Great breakfast and really good coffee! The owner and staff are super nice and very helpful, we felt heartly welcomed - thank you :) We liked that you can rent a snorkeling set for free.

It is a bit Isolated. You need to take a taxi (1 way 2 persons 300 Bath) if you want to leave the place. Besides relaxing there is not much to do at the place itself. Mosquito's during sunset.

The pool has a stunning location overlooking the area. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room is fine. Nice view from the balcony. Good restaurant. We went diving early morning and they packed breakfast for us! It is not very luxurious but it is more then fine.

We only tried the breakfast once as it was a bit too early for us (8-10). It was nothing special and Koh Tao has many cool Coffee/Breakfast places with more healthy options, so we ate breakfast outside instead.

Ecotao Lodge is beautiful! Views for days and everything clean and nice. We found it even better than on the pictures. :) With a scooter you can easily explore the island from the location. Also we loved the pool area- so calm and relaxed as the hotel is not very big. Cami the manager was very lovely and gave us nice tips. Would def. recommend staying here! ☺️🙏🏻

We had a wonderful stay, especially because of the enthusiastic and friendly team! Beds are comfortable, rooms are very big, breakfast was great. The setup within the jungle is unique, it created unforgettable moments. The infinity pool and seating possibilities were also a pleasure. Highly recommended! One of our best hotel stays!

Beautiful villa, especially number 10, 11 and 12, beautiful sea view, big balcony with sofa and lounge chairs, room is equipped with mosquito screen doors, we could even sleep with open doors at night! Wonderful, very helpful staff members, dealt perfectly with every request we had! Nice dining area, beautiful pool, great variety for breakfast!

Wow. We are struggling to find the words to write this review. It is an incredible place to stay on the beautiful island of Koh Tao. The pictures don’t do it justice. If you’re looking for a calmer place to stay away from the noisy crowds of backpackers, EcoTao Lodge won’t disappoint. We loved how genuine and personable the staff were. They were so welcoming. EcoTao Lodge is beautifully created, clean and comfortable. The restaurant has amazing food all day. EcoTao Lodge has its own taxi shuttle and so unless you want to hire a scooter it’s easy to get around. Thank you to Yves, the owner of EcoTao for being so lovely and taking us to the beach on his scooter one morning. Thank you to Naing for being a friendly waiter with great service. Thank you to the rest of the staff. We would recommend this place to anyone. Perfect.

The only thing would be to be aware that you have neighbors who you will hear when both on the balcony. I would have loved to sit on the balcony in the evening but couldn’t because of mosquitoes. Would be nice to have a anti mosquito coil on the balcony.

A hide away. Very nice and quiet surrounded by nature. Comfy beds, loved laying in the hammock watching the sea. Restaurant and swimming pool also very nice.
