Definitely one of my favorite places on Koh Samui. Stunning view over the mountains and ocean with a lot of space to chill and relax. A place for travelers who enjoy nature and like a quiet and peaceful environment to reset. The boss is one of a kind! Extremely friendly and welcoming, he made our stay a 10 out of 10! Thank you 🙏

The last 50 meters to the property are the steepest I've seen in thailand, I recommend parking somewhere and taking a taxi for less of a risk. And it's well worth it

Very peaceful. Reminds me of my trip to mae kampong, more of a homestay resort. Beautiful views overlooking the west of samui so it's good for those sunset pictures. Definitely recommend the Mu-ka-ta (spelt how it sounds), the owner is a chef, and the food is prepared very well. The food is very clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast was delicious and also clean and well presented.

Book taxi through Max (Owner) steep hill up to property puts other taxis off.

Stunning views, set up basic but done very well. Family who run the camp were lovely Max couldn’t have done more for us. I would definitely recommend for a night or two while in Koh Samui

Incredible setting, views are amazing. Surrounded by wildlife and nature. So calming. The owners are a delight, cook amazing meals for you and couldn’t be more helpful! One of the best places we’ve stayed. Only wished I booked for longer!

The area is very rural, which was perfect, but it did mean the road in was a bit hairy. We rented a car and were a little unsure if it would make it! It did, but you gotta be a confident driver! But they also offer a shuttle :)

This place is simply gorgeous! The location is amazing, with views out over the mountains and to the ocean. The open lanai was a gorgeous and peaceful place to lounge and relax and watch the sunset - even though the staff assured us that the sunset is "better other times of year," I still thought this "less good" sunset view was pretty dang incredible! The little private A-frame huts were so cute and comfy, and the shared bathroom was clean and convenient. And the staff member who was working was the nicest, most helpful person in all of Thailand. We were there during a quiet time (I think there was only one other guest staying there at the same time as us) so the restaurant was closed. But when we told him we were hungry, he just whipped up these two delicious bowls of soup for us, and then he offered us fruit from their garden. Unbelievable hospitality - I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is so refreshing to be in the middle of the jungle. You can hear the nature sound, and enjoy delicious meals. You can go for a hike, or go to the beach in 15min by scooter. Everyone is so friendly, I definitely recommend this place. I had initially only booked 1 day, and then stayed another day, and then another one again.

This has been my most genuine experience in all of Thailand. You do not feel like a customer, but a family member! The location is breathtaking. You are camping on beautiful mountain with all the luxuries of modern life: clean water, comfy beds, fans in your room with fresh water from the mountain to cool off and let's not forget the amazing food that is served by the loving family. Two things to keep in mind, if you are not too confident on your two feet, then this property will test you as there are many steps going up and down. Also, this is not the place to take your first scooter drive in Thailand, but if you have experience then it will be fun. A lot going on around the Safe Zone, so be sure to rent scooter directly from the family and enjoy. So stop reading and start booking!

I love the quiet and stillness of the place. Reminds me of my childhood home where I used to stay in the mountains during summer breaks. It was cool though there's no AC built-in in the room. I love everything. It's a good thing that the owner was keen to observe the necessity of bathroom close to the room which they are building during our stay. We recommend the place to our friends. I hope they will love SZ Samui as we did.

It's very remote. Booking grab taxis is impossible. However, the staff are on hand with taxis to help you up and down the mountain.

The views from the property are simply incredible. I would recommend anyone travelling in thailand to make a stop on this island just to experience this property. The family that run the site are so kind and helpful.

They went out of their way to stay open as my flight was late coming in and my taxi driver got lost as he had no phone to follow a map. They then arranged for transport to catch a boat in the morning but got up early and gave me breakfast before I went. Beautiful place that I wished I could have stayed at longer. 10/10

EVERYTHING! The huts are charming, homely and super clean as is the entire property! The food is fantastic! The family/owners couldn’t do more for you. Very attentive and very helpful if you wish to book tours. You can hire scooters from the site also. The 360 views of the jungle and the sea are breathtakingly beautiful. BOOK NOW! You will not regret it! I assure you. They also have the cutest dog named Long 🙂

I came to start off my trip travelling solo in Asia and it couldn’t have been any better. Absolutely recommend it to everyone looking for some calm in nature. The view was INCREDIBLE! It is the most peaceful and calm place I have ever stayed. The hospitality was beautiful, they are so attentive and caring and really look after you. I was supported with everything I needed including helping to organise my transport to and from the campsite. The food was out of this world, I had the best Thai curry’s and soups here. I can’t stop telling everyone i meet about this hidden gem.

Beautiful open space, chimes are nice to listen to while looking at the amazing view. Very friendly family and we loved chatting with them. The beds were really comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the chicken cashews. Awesome waterfall nearby. We will definitely be back!

I arrived very late at night and it was a bit difficult to find it and as is on a very steep hill the taxi drop me before. It wasn’t really a problem as the guys came to help with my bags. My recommendation, don’t arrive at midnight.

The property is an amazing place up the hill, with a small spring running right beside, the sound of nature and the running water makes it a dream if you want to relax. It’s a family business, you will see baby Diana running around, grandma is cooking and the guys go out of their way to make you feel at home and provide anything you need. I asked if they could get me a moto taxi and they offered me to drive around the island which was great for a really good price on top.
