Good value for the price but the rooms need some larger maintanace. As long you only sleep there (as you should) it is quite okay.

You get what you pay for, and, this really was great value for money so I really can't complain.

The room was very good value for money. This becomes a little more expensive during the Water Festival. Reservations via the hotel directly were more expensive than booking via booking.com.

Being placed right at the back of the resort in the less modernised rooms. A bit pricey but was high season at the time so not unsurprising.

The staff were friendly and the pool was a nice addition. Great scenery surrounding the resort too!

It's the third time I'm staying at Diamond Cave and it's the first time I get a room with such a bad bathroom, it needs a serious upgrade, the bedroom is fine though.

Pool: 1. needs to be redone, lining at bottom coming up. 2. area was dirty, including inside pool. One member of reception staff wasn’t very welcoming and was rude when checking out.

Nice, quiet area in good location. Fan and air conditioning in room. Bed was comfortable.

A massive cockroach crawled out of the sink as soon as we arrived with ants by the kettle area. The mattresses weren't the comfiest & the air con was noisy and requires re-gassing. Overall, the price we paid was not what we received and it definitely wasn't a 3 star hotel.

The swimming pool was nice and chilled. The room was cleaned very quickly. Breakfast staff were very friendly.

The washroom was a bit outdated, when you take a shower the whole washroom is wet.

The view is not like in photos. Bungalows are not in best state but will do for few days. Please take in consideration when booking that the place itself is in an island so you need a boat taxi to go to the mainland of krabi

I think I read similar other reviews mentioning that this place is broken down. It looks passable from the outside but the insides were falling apart and dilapidated. You could also smell burning garbage for half the day--yes they were literally burning garbage in a giant pile not too far from our door front for hours. Most of the cheap places in Thailand have paper thin walls/windows that don't function in a closed position (allowing mosquito passage) and this was no exception. You could hear the large French family next door like they were inside your own room with cigarette smells all night to add...you get what you pay for.

The one pro about coming here was it's comfortable walking distance to Railay Beach in relation to the price. Tonsai was cheaper and less touristy but we wanted to see what the climbing was like over on this side.

management are rude , and the staff unmotivated as a result. The breakfast was poor .

Communication with resort staff was not very helpful or accommodating on Booking.com messages/chat, but no issues at all during our stay.

Railay is pretty small so everything is in walking distance. We were worried there was no transportation, but it was easy to get from the floating pier to the hotel which was less than a 10 minute walk. The location is great! It is steps away from everything (restaurants, shops, massage places, tour booths, beaches, etc). The breakfast options were pretty moderate. From the pictures, it looked like the resort was dated, but the property looks a lot better in person. The limestone cliffs in the background was a beautiful view. The pool was also very beautiful.

The rooms were outdated and uncomfortable. Rock hard beds, no shower curtain, not attractive decor. At least the AC and hot water worked well.

Nice pool area. Great location next to a cliff face. Though they charged quite a bit extra they were accommodating of transportation.
