It was a bit hard to find. At the top of the stairs go straight through the abandoned building and at the end of that property you'll find the reception

The staff where very nice and the room was large, comfortable and clean! I'd definitely stay here again

Google “The Last Bar” to find the property.

The property is a nightmare to find. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS it takes you the wrong way. Instead google “The Last Bar” head there and go up the stairs. Continue walking and you’ll see Mom boutique Railay on the left, past that there will be an abandoned bar you’ll have to walk through the bar and then head through the big gate and past all the rooms. Reception is at the back of the property. There was some confusion at check in as they thought we were different guests at first. We also decided to extend our stay and payed cash up front for an extra night. The next day the receptionist knocked on our door in the afternoon asking why we hadn’t checked out yet, I had to remind him we’d payed an extra night which he had completely forgotten about. We encountered some monkeys one afternoon on the stairs which grabbed the bag out of my hand.

We stayed in a cute and cozy cabin. Very comfortable and clean. It had windows both sides, one facing into the lush jungle and the other facing a beautiful limestone mountain wall and the views were amazing. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The dreaded steps were not all that bad for us but we pack light and tend to walk a lot. There was a refillable water station near reception, just be careful at night it’s very low light and as we were refilling our bottles we almost stepped on a big scorpion.

Could be kettle in the room

Comfortable bed and pillows. Extra shower gel and shampoo ( probably ) no etiquette on bottle. Not that many stairs. Nothing to be afraid off. Might be difficult either suitcase only. Go up from last bar

The steps, the steps, this can't be emphasised enough. Make sure you know about the steps, you do not want to be coming home late in rain or after a few drinks to do these steps If you're fit and healthy you won't have an issue. The view makes the steps worth it though

The staff are very friendly The view is amazing The room is very comfortable The location is ideal once you get past the steps( lots of steps )

The steps up really are steep. I counted ~130 or so. That's less of a problem than the fact the hotel is probably the furthest away from the centre of all accommodation on Railay. That's still only like 10-15 min but keep in mind. I'd say only pick here if you want affordability above all other considerations. NOTE: To find, go to 'The Last Bar' and find the stairs there.

Place is one of the most affordable in Railay. Nice view of the surrounding forest. Room is clean and nice for the price. Wifi is strong.

Now get ready for stairs, lots of stairs, to get to your room. you can see them in the pictures. If you don't like stairs stay away.

The best part is the view, the room was clean, a decent size and the price was good for Railay Beach. The staff was also helpful, a pool is also available it's just not mentioned in the ad as it is part of a different hotel.

Check in wasn’t that straight forward, on google maps it takes you to the wrong place, had to be redirected by someone and also the check in is at the bottom of the hill further along from the hotel which is also confusing.

Staff were friendly and good view once you made it up the stairs.

We couldn’t get the hot water to work in the shower but we didn’t need it as it was so hot! There are a lot of steps and it is a bit far from the main area of shops, restaurants etc. When we arrived at the bottom of the steps there was no way to contact or notify staff that we had arrived to help us with our bags. We thought there was access to a swimming pool at the property but there isn’t. Location is wrong on Booking and it’s actually located at the end of the street behind Mom’s Boutique (which has a pool and nicer view.)

The room itself was very nice with comfortable bed, good AC, fan and different Wi-Fi for different areas. Free water refill.

The bathroom was not cleaned, also no cleaning service in 4 nights. The bathroom itself was dark, and the shower appeared to be on top of a closed bath tub…rather akward, not suited for tall people. Staff was basically invisible and quite unfriendly. Fridge did not work. Not worth the money.

They don't offer any food options. Only water. So if you're a coffee drinking you're doing a lot of stairs in the morning for that cup.

They seemed a little disorganised, but I didn't bother as we only stayed 2 nights. We had to ask for hot water although I thought there was a kettle per room. WARNING - there are a lot of steps as in the name "hilltop" so if you aren't at a general level of fittness probably don't stay here.

Great view from the room! You are in NATURE - we saw an incredible Atlas Moth whilst having our coffee <3 There is a big, comfy bed and lovely decor in the room. The bathroom is nice. Lovely a quiet retreat from all the tourist in Railey. WARNING - there are a lot of steps as in the name "hilltop" so if you aren't at a general level of fittness probably don't stay here.

the shower was above the toilet which didn’t make sense, immense amount of steps to walk up but expected when a hilltop view, lots of insects including lizards and cockroaches, a little while away from the beach.

DO NOT follow Google maps! Walked 10 min (in heat with bag) in the wrong direction and had to go back and then climb the steep steps! Follow east beach to get to the resort. There is a lot of broken glass around the top of the steps.

A little over priced for what you got. No breakfast included. Nearest cafe, you need to go down the stairs so we tended to pack for the day . Would be good to have breakfast & coffee there to enjoy view and have a gentle start to day

Loved location, high on hill with great views away from bustle of Railay. Need to be stair fit to get there. Thankfully there is a lift for luggage and boys to help carry . Bed comfy, basic room with balcony was clean .
