Check in wasn’t that straight forward, on google maps it takes you to the wrong place, had to be redirected by someone and also the check in is at the bottom of the hill further along from the hotel which is also confusing.

Staff were friendly and good view once you made it up the stairs.

The stairs man. phewwwwww thats a minus but a plus point of you are a fitness freak who is looking to burn some extra calories.

The views are stunning. The rooms are big and bathrooms are super big with a hidden underground. Loved everything about this stay.

Beware, the only downside of staying here is a very steep staircase to access the property. There is no restaurant or convenience store up there, so you’ll have to go up and down it for any food or essentials

The steps, the AC didn’t work very well and the bathroom was very interesting. Would’ve preferred no padlock and just a key for the door.

We couldn’t get the hot water to work in the shower but we didn’t need it as it was so hot! There are a lot of steps and it is a bit far from the main area of shops, restaurants etc. When we arrived at the bottom of the steps there was no way to contact or notify staff that we had arrived to help us with our bags. We thought there was access to a swimming pool at the property but there isn’t. Location is wrong on Booking and it’s actually located at the end of the street behind Mom’s Boutique (which has a pool and nicer view.)

The room itself was very nice with comfortable bed, good AC, fan and different Wi-Fi for different areas. Free water refill.

It is located in a remote place with many stairs to climb. It’s too hot to climb all the stairs in the heat. We had to ask for the staff to clean our room and they didn’t.

The bathroom was not cleaned, also no cleaning service in 4 nights. The bathroom itself was dark, and the shower appeared to be on top of a closed bath tub…rather akward, not suited for tall people. Staff was basically invisible and quite unfriendly. Fridge did not work. Not worth the money.

Great view! Spacious, bed was comfortable

They don't offer any food options. Only water. So if you're a coffee drinking you're doing a lot of stairs in the morning for that cup.

They seemed a little disorganised, but I didn't bother as we only stayed 2 nights. We had to ask for hot water although I thought there was a kettle per room. WARNING - there are a lot of steps as in the name "hilltop" so if you aren't at a general level of fittness probably don't stay here.

Great view from the room! You are in NATURE - we saw an incredible Atlas Moth whilst having our coffee <3 There is a big, comfy bed and lovely decor in the room. The bathroom is nice. Lovely a quiet retreat from all the tourist in Railey. WARNING - there are a lot of steps as in the name "hilltop" so if you aren't at a general level of fittness probably don't stay here.

the shower was above the toilet which didn’t make sense, immense amount of steps to walk up but expected when a hilltop view, lots of insects including lizards and cockroaches, a little while away from the beach.

DO NOT follow Google maps! Walked 10 min (in heat with bag) in the wrong direction and had to go back and then climb the steep steps! Follow east beach to get to the resort. There is a lot of broken glass around the top of the steps.

A little over priced for what you got. No breakfast included. Nearest cafe, you need to go down the stairs so we tended to pack for the day . Would be good to have breakfast & coffee there to enjoy view and have a gentle start to day

Loved location, high on hill with great views away from bustle of Railay. Need to be stair fit to get there. Thankfully there is a lift for luggage and boys to help carry . Bed comfy, basic room with balcony was clean .

No food or coffee available . So needed to get up and go out for breakfast when a slow start to sit at lovely outdoor area or our balcony and take in the view would have been a gentle, enjoyable start to day

Loved location because it was away from the bustle of Railay . Views were fantastic and it was peaceful . Quiet at night for sleeping Rooms clean with air con and comfiest bed in Thailand, so far. Water station available to top up our water bottles daily . My partner and I are didn’t have any problems to climb the hill to get there, however, we avoided going back to the room after a long day at the beach only because we didn’t want to go all the way up twice in the day. You have to go down stairs to go to the bathroom too. The bathroom is very dark and humid.

    The view is nice.

There were quite a lot of insects and mosquitos so worth picking up a bug spray ( i got one from a shop just down the road) The bathroom is down a set of stairs inside of the lodge and the windows are covered by a mesh - this unfortunately did not stop the bugs getting in. over 130+ steps to reach the resort but its still worth the view. just bare this in mind if you have a large amount of luggage.

The views were stunning from the rooms, big lodge with modern design. our room came with Table and chairs on the balcony , outside seating on the porch and a site seeing platform on the side. Location is pretty good as not too far from the main strip but just far enough so that its quiet at night. Staff were friendly and attentive - our fan broke in our room and they fixed it immediately with no problems.

The stairs is enormous (130 odd steps) and a bit sketchy. This would be less of an issue if there were people there to help you with your bags up the stairs but there aren't, and the reception didn't pick up the phone when we called foe help. There was someone waiting about 10m from the top of the stairs to help us but they can't see you until you've already walked up the stairs and by this point you don’t need the help because it is mostly flat to reception from the stairs... frustrating. It is also difficult to find and Google maps takes you to the wrong place, just FYI.

The view from the top is breathtaking and it is very quiet nad peaceful.

Too many stairs which they didn’t caution about. The stairs and pathway to room was not even. The bathroom wasn’t the most comfortable and there was no kettle or microwave. The toilet paper holder rod was missing so the roll had to be kept on the sink and we had to be careful not to splash water on it.

    Hilltop views
