We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The decor is quirky and I really liked it. Our room was big with huge beds and a big balcony over looking the sea. It was a comfortable room. We were a bit concerned having read the reviews but we had a good stay here.

AustraliaLittle tired, the location was having some work done so I would say in 3 mths that may be completed. We stayed Aug 23. No pool in the area. There were no sun beds or lounges and the flies and insects are OMG so many. Not a place you would spend more than 2 nights. Beaches are very dirty with rubbish everywhere. The locals don’t clean the beaches lots of broken bottles plastic shoes etc it would be a nice place if cleaned. We visited the Novotel to see if we could change, but that was smelly and not worth the money either.
It is quirky bohemian style place. The design and set up is really good. If your travelling to Koh Samui via ferry this is a great place to stay as an in between. The owner is a really lovely lady who will do alI in her power to make you feel welcome. Great rooms for family and couples. Each room has a different theme.

CanadaLimited English, so be prepared to use Google Translate - though that's part of the charm for us. This is a Thai vacation destination place!
We arrived early after overnight train, and were greeting with warm welcome, and encouraged to take coffee as we checked in. Breakast was still running, so we purchased extra breakfast and had wonderful relaxing experience. We got a deluxe sea view room, themed as "Thai experience" that was custom decorated in that style. Nearby attractions were also unique: Thai Naval memorial and temples, as well as a fantastic National Park viewpoint. Dinner at nearby waterfront restaurant was stunning.
