We stayed here specifically for the snorkeling. It was good, not exceptional like Koh Tao, but we very much enjoyed. It is so nice to snorkel from the beach. Lots of lovely coral, and a decent amount of fish. Visibility was ok/good, not great. Beach was lovely--lots of people relaxing and just chatting in groups in the water. If you do not bring your own snorkel, you can buy one from the place next door. We paid 590 baht and the snorkel was quite good.

Restaurant closes by 9 pm. No night scenes in the evening. Beaches are mostly quiet after 8 pm.

Easy to get there as the resort is right at the main road. Best for couples and family to spend quality time by the beach with a beautiful view.

Buy some insect spray, lots of flies and little midgees. Plenty of good sunscreen. About 10 minutes out of Lamai, taxi truck ride about $8 each way. Lots of bars in town.

Room was good although pictures made rooms look bigger. Staff fantastic always that Thai Smile. Lovely beach cleanest I've been to. Had to share with 300 other tourists and locals on weekends. The Restaurant was great the food always fresh. Lots of massage spots and other Restaurants on the beach too. Would recommend this resort.

We stayed in D6. The aircon in the room too small to cool the room. Only part of the room were covered by the aircon. We had to move the bed to get aircon on the bed. Very bad smell coming from the bathroom. Sort of a sewer smell. The door to the balcony wasn’t fitting properly, struggled to open and close it. Door needed some maintenance.

The best swimming beach, the bed comfy, breakfast very good. The view to the sea is beautiful. Location is ok. Staff very friendly.

There was nothing bad wevould say about Crystal Bay, we booked a third night so we could stay longer!

We had a fantastic few days staying at Crystal Bay. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, most of which had ocean views, and the resort facilities ( pool and restaurant) were excellent. The highlight is the beach, its right on your doorstop and absolutely stunning!

Brilliant location, friendly helpful staff, food lovely- we didn’t have breakfast included in our stay but had lunch at the hotel - great open air restaurant with perfect views of the bay. Great hotel for the first 5 days in Koh Samui - we highly recommend a stay here.

Nothing really. Perhaps the restaurant is a bit quiet at night and over priced compared to other places we have stayed.

The location was amazing. Had a sea view room and the view couldn’t be faulted. It’s a perfect beach and the hotel was quiet and friendly. The staff were lovely but in particular Mr Min in the restaurant who had a natural warm demeanor and was very attentive. He is a credit to the hotel. The pool was good and the rooms we good quality. The breakfast was good although the children didn’t seem to enjoy that much.

The sun beds are constantly occupied by people who do not stay at the restort. So guests who actually pay to stay at the resort dont have any beds. One day when we had beds and went down to take a bath, they were taken when we came back. Even if we had our towels on the two beds. I wish there could be some more place to hang/put cloths. No fun to always have to dig for clothes in the suite case. Very many visitors on the private beach.

The beach is very nice. The breakfast staff and cleaning staff was very polite. The room was clean and nice. The location is good, with both restaurants and 7/11 quite close.

The location right on the beach was absolutely perfect. The restaurant was great and there is a lovely little swimming pool. The whole place was impeccably clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Great location- right on the beach but be aware that there’s not much around and everywhere closed early but it was everything that we wanted. Lovely room and nice balcony .

Hotel location was ideal right on the beach, a taxi ride or walk to busy night life at Lamai. Hotel staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Room had a beautiful view of the beach and was clean and tidy.
