The beach can be too crowded at the daytime

The immediate access to the beach from the hotel Crystal beach is surrounded by rocks, really nice and cosy, very comfortable for swimming and paddle boarding (you can rent it at the beach for 300 baht / hour) The stuff is very friendly and sweet

There are no sun loungers around the pool. Only a few downstairs but they are often shaded. The pool is also quite small, but with it being a smaller hotel it never felt crowded.

The staff absolutely made this hotel. They went to every effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is really good, especially the massaman curry. Obviously the view and proximity to the beach is lovely and convenient.

The hotel is in an excellent location on a beautiful beach. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. The staff were always helpful.

- we stayed in Deluxe room and have seen, that the doors has a mini hole, so the little lizard was in our room =) It was cute, but little unexpected and we have brought him outside. Maybe you can make the doors more safe. -the breakfast menu was a bit limited. There are only 6 dishes. If you have booked a room with a breakfast you can choose one dish for free. If you want to eat more than one dish, f.e. fruit Salad or Joghurt, you need to pay extra. - only black tea ans no fresh pressed juice.

The shower was a bit temperamental and had less power than we’d hoped for in their grandest room. There are no sun loungers around the pool, a few down on the ground floor but they were mostly in the shade, so it often felt like there was no where to lay in the sun comfortably.

The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The restaurant was also really nice and you can tell the chefs care about the quality of food. The bed was also very big and comfy.

We had to manually pay using our credit card upon checkin despite booking via booking.com and having already provided our card details via the platform. We were told they don’t take payment via the platform for some vague reason “so you can get a refund etc etc…”

Food was pretty good, a bit pricey but OK for a resort hotel. Coffee not great, but I'm picky. A few places to eat nearby but not many.

Noise from the street, but this depends on the choosen room. The first one, we had (grand seaview deluxe) was a bit noisy, the second one (seaview deluxe) was not.

The beach is right at your door step and the staff are very friendly. You will need the taxi to get around but not a big deal as the beach was our main focus.

Location! The beachfront terrace room was big (3 of us), and loungers facing sea were fab - especially at sunrise and sunset. You can go to and from your room all day long. The pool, although small, is clean and has a nice view of beach

We stayed here specifically for the snorkeling. It was good, not exceptional like Koh Tao, but we very much enjoyed. It is so nice to snorkel from the beach. Lots of lovely coral, and a decent amount of fish. Visibility was ok/good, not great. Beach was lovely--lots of people relaxing and just chatting in groups in the water. If you do not bring your own snorkel, you can buy one from the place next door. We paid 590 baht and the snorkel was quite good.

Restaurant closes by 9 pm. No night scenes in the evening. Beaches are mostly quiet after 8 pm.

Easy to get there as the resort is right at the main road. Best for couples and family to spend quality time by the beach with a beautiful view.

Buy some insect spray, lots of flies and little midgees. Plenty of good sunscreen. About 10 minutes out of Lamai, taxi truck ride about $8 each way. Lots of bars in town.

Room was good although pictures made rooms look bigger. Staff fantastic always that Thai Smile. Lovely beach cleanest I've been to. Had to share with 300 other tourists and locals on weekends. The Restaurant was great the food always fresh. Lots of massage spots and other Restaurants on the beach too. Would recommend this resort.

We stayed in D6. The aircon in the room too small to cool the room. Only part of the room were covered by the aircon. We had to move the bed to get aircon on the bed. Very bad smell coming from the bathroom. Sort of a sewer smell. The door to the balcony wasn’t fitting properly, struggled to open and close it. Door needed some maintenance.

The best swimming beach, the bed comfy, breakfast very good. The view to the sea is beautiful. Location is ok. Staff very friendly.
