Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe private beach is not good for swimming - even at tide hours you should walk in muddy water about 500 meters to reach the depth of 1.5 meter. So, all the visitors come to the pool.

AustraliaThe hotel did offer a cheaper price that we enjoyed as they are going through a "soft launch". With that in mind I can overlook the issues we didn't like below and WE WILL RETURN to this hotel in the future because of its chilled out location and the majority of staff who were lovely. Airconditioner in room 2317 is not able to be fully controlled by the room controller, so it always defaulted back to 20-21 degrees. This was too cold for us. We did ask reception to fix it but they said they were not able to. From what I could understand the controller for the temp default is set at the unit, not by the in room zone controller. (Lucky the bed was extremely super comfy and warm). Clothes Storage:- In the terrace view room there is simply not enough draw/shelf space to set out your clothes. Its the worst I've experienced in a hotel anywhere on the planet. The size for hanging was xtra large with a good amount of coat hangers. Location: Catch 22. We wanted a destress, get away from the hustle of Patong stay and we got that. The reality of that is, that you can't just walk out the hotel doors and find a bar or restaurant on the street there simply wasn't anything there except a 7-11. So you would have to get a taxi anywhere. This is not what we are used to, so its something we didn't like but understand its also part of the serenity of the location. Can't have it all :-). Bell Boy on Driveway are always on their phones due to the low occupancy numbers during this soft launch so they didn't greet us when we walked past them, which in Thailand is rare and noticeable.
Location on "Serenity Bay" Cape Panwa is down the bottom on the East side of the island. It's about 1 hour from the airport and also to Patong beach. The location and aspect of the hotel to the beach & bay is probably the best we've experienced in Phuket in our 15 years of holidaying here from a Disconnect and just breath point of view. It is a semi remote feeling and location. We had a Terrace Room so sitting out each day enjoying the morning coffee watching the sunrise and the bay with boats and islands was superb. The bufett for breakfast was lovely and had a good selection. Cereals, Eggs, Pastries, Soups, Fried Rice, Chicken dish, Cold Cuts, Salads, Breads, Juices, Real Coffee etc. Twice a day in the morning and night, you can hear the call to prayer from the local mosque waft across the landscape. It's not intrusive and you wouldn't hear it in the room if you weren't sitting out on the balcony. The dinner menu on the Half Board offering was varied enough and gave us good choice but you would be bored with it if staying more than 5 days. The value of the Half Board offering was really good. The restaurant staff and food in MOSAIC near the pool were exceptional. Nut was a stand out memorable person who made the effort to remember our names and greeted us personally. Well done Nut! The Lobby Bar was a nice place to sit for a few happy hour drinks. Joy was a friendly. The Beach Bar was a good place for a lunch and a cold beer. Peekie gave good service there with the rest of her team. Shuttle to shopping: There's a free shuttle to Phuket Central shopping 3 days a week leaving hotel at 11am and returning 330-4pm departure back to hotel. This was a nice touch and saved us $15 taxi fares each way to do it. Taxi Stand out front of hotel was great. Going rate in May 2024 for a driver for a day is THB 1,500 so great value if you want to have the convenience of a car when you go shopping etc.

PakistanThey don’t have much choice for lunch/dinner menu. I had to order through Grab at times for dinner.
If you want to stay away from all noise/city life, then this place is for you. Big room + excellent breakfast. Two pools for swimming. Used their spa services which is a little expensive but that’s okay. Over all great experience. Seven - Eleven is at a minute walking distance.

United KingdomI didn’t like the fact that this property was far from the centre of Phuket. You have to spend a lot of money for taxi. Another thing I didn’t like is the fact that you can’t really swim in the ocean due to lots of jelly fish but that isn’t the hotels fault it’s just natural.
I loved the hotel. It was beautiful and relaxing. We were welcomed with some herbal iced tea and we got our bags take. To the room. The view is stunning as well as the pool and the restaurant food. The staff are very helpful and kind. Overall a nice relaxing hotel with amazing views and a good pool.

ThailandBreakfast could be better, I didnt like the thing that for a espresso or cappucino you have to look for staff than order it and wait etc... Just put the coffe machine next to buffet as all other 4-5 stars hotels do please :) Also I think should somehow separate chinese groups from the other guests cause it gets quite loud :( I really didnt like about the room cleaning, we left at 10.30AM and I my thai wife asked the maid next to our room to please refresh our room, maid asked when we will come back we told her in 1 hour. We came back after 2 hours the room was still not cleaned. Called reception told us to wait a moment, after 30 minutes called again and someone come to clean it... This should improve.
Amazing sea view, many swimming pools, not many Guests so it was really quiet, we loved it. Cheaper than resorts arround. Yes you cannot expect to swim on this beach beace its really shallow, but you got amazing views and beach front pools, even better :) Most of the staff were nice, specially the guy at the coctail bar next to main pool was super nice.

ItalyThe position is isolated, ideal if you are a couple and want to break away, not really otherwise. In any case it is possible to book outdoor excursions. The beach is private, great ambiance, the sea is not crystal, however, and low tide does the rest.

United KingdomMore attention to the beach area that adjoins the hotel. Thailand doesn't fair well, when it comes to plastic, and this beach sees new plastic being washed up everyday on incoming tide. We saw some daily litter picking on the beach and on one day, about 15 staff out clearing the beach. In my view this needs to become a priority for this hotel.
Well, if you are looking for 5 Star luxury and everything new and pristine, then this hotel might not be for you. If however you are looking for great value, excellent staff, nice rooms and good food with plenty of variety, then look no further. Yes, the place is a bit tired, but they are working to improve this. We loved it and would return.

MalaysiaUnfortunately the beach is extremely filthy and since it’s a cape, it’s infested with jellyfish. I was very disappointed when I saw how filthy the beach was.
I liked that there are two pools which provides an option for those who want a bit more privacy. I also loved the fact the pools directly overlooks the sea.

PolandThere is basically no beach/sea. During low tide the water is 500m into the sea and during high tide the water is 40cm deep and with a lot of trash brought by the sea. Room service is pretty bad. Cleaning ladies do not speak english at all and if you are in your room while they want to clean, they will not come back. They do not change bed sheets unless you ask and watch them do it.

United KingdomIt was quite quiet in the evenings and not many other bars, restaurants within walking distance, but they were only a taxi ride away.
Brilliant staff. May be a little more geared towards business than holiday. Having said that, very family friendly with plenty of activities. Having breakfast whilst watching the sun rise was pretty special. Our personal favourite was the Splash Pool Bar right by the seafront.
