The rooms are quite old and can use a bit of an update. Some mould is forming in the bathroom because of the high humidity there.

The location is amazing. Staff is very friendly and can pick you up and bring you to the bus station if needed. We were able to drop our laundry there because they have a laundry service.

There was some sort of festival and we could hear extremely loud music until well into the early hours during every night we stayed. Not their fault but very annoying.

Located in a beautiful location amongst the rain forest overlooking Pai. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. We very much appreciated the shuttle service to and from town.

Peace and quiet all day and night time. Very private area with an excellent view of Pai. Coffee, ice cream and breakfast were amazing. Definitely worth the price.

Honestly, there wasn't a thing I could improve. Maybe, just maybe, I could say the driveway to the resort was a tad muddy/bumpy. Driving that in the rain may be a little inundating.

Location is fabulous. Only 5 minutes from Pai, but still feels like you're secluded with privacy! Without a doubt the best stay we've had in a while. Super soft beds, AMAZING FOOD at a great price, and the icing on the cake.. the employees. Tooie & Jack made us feel so welcomed! Stayed for three days and didn't need to leave the resort for anything! They had it all!

Nice studio with a great balcony and the view from there. We had a room with small jacuzzi on the balcony, used it and absolutely loved it. The room is a bit uphill, but if you’re reasonably fit you manage the few steps effortless. I found some reviews here about having to climb the hill completely exaggerated. We walked into town and back, it’s really not that far.

Unfortunately, the properties very dated. Old linens towels, etc. I even had some holes in my bedspread. But on the other hand, the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. I am not brave enough to rent a motorbike so walking up the hill was a little challenging, but I was up for it.

The view from the room was spectacular! I loved waking up in the morning and sitting out on the balcony. I also enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. Although it did take a really long time to fill up. But once it did, it was really nice.

I wish the plumbing were better, but that seems to be the case for most places in Thailand so I can’t really hold it against them.

We didn't like the fact that the hotel is 1.7 km away from Walking Street (which is the center of "downtown Pai"). Furthermore, they don't offer any free shuttle bus to go back to the hotel at night (they do offer a free shuttle bus, but the last one leaves downtown Pai at 9 pm). Furthermore, compared with other hotels of the same standard (3-star only), Chang Pai Hill is quite expensive. Basically, you're gonna have to pay more, much more than with any other 3-star hotel, to have the pleasure of enjoying this amazingly beautiful view over the mountains. PS: As its name implies, the hotel is located on a hill; if you have mobility problems, it may not be the most suitable hotel for you...

We LOVED the amazingly beautiful and unforgettable view from the room. We also loved the outside jacuzzi ("outside" because it's located on an open balcony). We also appreciated the quietness of the property, both during daytime (no roosters, no dogs barking, etc.) and at night.
