Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandThe location is good near bus station 2, but you cannot get to the airport from this bus station.
The hotel has a fairly good gym and swimming pool. The location is good near bus station 2 (note that you cannot get to the airport from this bus station). A few good and affordable really local restaurants near the hotel.

New ZealandLocation is not the best if you want to stay in Phuket for activities. But suited us for a brief overnight stay before heading to the airport.
Clean, good sized rooms and friendly staff. We only stayed for one night as it was walking distance to the Phantip bus stop after coming back from Koh Pha Ngan.

RussiaDeposit 500 bath for stay. I have to ask for air condition in the gym. The area near the Bus Station is really nothing special. Next time, I would move somewhere else.
If you need to stay near to bus station it's ok and bot expensive, especially with discounts.

United KingdomI recommend the hotel invests in some more and better pool furniture as there was rarely enough.
Pool and gym were small but very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated that when the do not disturb sign was on the housekeeping team left us water etc outside the room. This was because we didn't need cleaning everyday. I didn't try the breakfast but saw it was rarely busy.

South AfricaBreakfast was average, two fried eggs, or an omelette or a bowl of rice. Two slices of toast, glass of water and juice and a cup of tea or coffee. Communication in English was a challenge, or extremely difficult depending which staff member was on duty behind the reception desk. Make sure you have a language translation App on your phone. Located in the heart of the town so a little off the beaten track, however taxis were available. Tours are generally not organised by the hotel, but they will put you in contact with someone or one can do it online. Even though the hotel advertises a laundry service at an additional cost, the way it was handled gave me the impression that this was not performed on a frequent basis. Out of the four hotels I stayed at, this one charged the most for the laundry service. The usual international and local TV channels, Netflix could be a nice addition.
Staff friendly and helpful. Great pool. Room was clean and housekeeping performed daily. Complimentary tea and coffee. Kettle, large fridge and AC available in the room. Room had a balcony overlooking the pool. Complementary pool towels. Good WiFi. Two supermarkets in close proximity.

United Kingdomdated, needs a deep clean. the lift is filthy. The staff are too young. They need at least one staff member per shift with sone knowledge of English or Russian. There are no real bars in the vicinity except one scruffy, mosquito ridden place. The restaurants are Thai but not that great (we eat street food and family restaurants all the time)
The room was big and cool. it is walking distance to the main bus terminal of Phuket

United Kingdombreakfast is ok not the best but as it is only £4 you cannot complain . pool is a little small but ok .
the hotel is very clean with comfortable beds. its quiet with a nice pool and has a fair size gym area . the room is very nice and the first room we had cost a bit more but had a kitchenette with microwave a few plates and kitchen sink , which is quite handy if you get take aways of want to make up something to eat . pool is very nice a little small but sun goes around the corner by midday so it is very good to hang out in the shade during very hot afternoons . great hotel fantastic price and lovely staff , I would stay here again definitely . it is half price of our last hotel and almost as good as the previous one which cost serious money . this is a bargain I thought we would be getting a slightly uncared for and dirty place for this money but no it is immaculate friendly and very comfortable also quiet . lots of small shops restaurants just outside are very helpful . you need transport or taxi to get into town .
