We are so grateful for this experience at Billion Views - met the owner herbalist Pierre before he left for France, he showed us his laboratory and shared many fascinating and inspiring stories! Pierre’s wife Chonpunut is amazing, so kind and friendly. Make sure you try the dinner, buy some honey and have a walk at the garden. Will come back again!!

Everything is really nice and we didn‘t miss anything. If you really have to find something to improve then it is that the rooms are not equipped with Airconditioning. BUT there are multiple fans ins every room. So it is not an issue at all.

The property as an amazing view! Pierre and his wife are amazing hosts. They are so friendly and helpful. :) The food was great and our hiking tour in the jungle close by as well! The dogs are lovely ;)

We loved every minute of our time here with Chompunut and Pierre. It is such a beautiful place to stay. At one point we were dropped off after a day trip and everyone else on the bus commented about how beautiful the stay was compared to theirs- one guy even ran out to take a photo before they left for their hotel. Don’t be the people who wished they stayed here, be the people who stay here! Pierre came to pick us up from Khao Sok and the transfer was super comfortable and fun, Pierre took us to an elephant sanctuary on the way and then also took us to a bonus stop to see some caves and fish. We were then greeted by Chompunut and two lovely golden labradors! We had a delicious dinner and breakfast and then did a day trip to the dam. Chompunut was very well organised and helpful and cooked breakfast/dinner ready for when we were either leaving or coming back which was brilliant- way better than staying at an impersonal hotel. There is also an unlimited supply of cold bottled water, again much better than a hotel with two lukewarm bottles per day. We were treated like family for the entire stay and Chompunut even gave us some good advice of things to do on our next location (Bangkok). Finally, breakfast was ready, absolutely delicious in time for our morning transfer with Pierre to the airport! There are some reviews mentioning the lack of air conditioning; we are very sweaty people and we found the fans to be enough for the few nights we stayed, but it might have gotten a little less comfortable if we had stayed for longer so maybe something to bare in mind if that bothers you. Totally worth the lack of AC for the experience, views and hospitality!

A very spacious hillside villa built and decorated in a classic style, own/run by a lady with a sophisticated approach and keen attention to detail. A very tangible aesthetic, reflected in the furnishings, the flowers and the very high quality food. We guess that there are no more than six rooms, all with extensive views of the mountains and forest. Ours had a large terrace. We had a strong sense of being in an old colonial hill station, and the two large fans were an appropriate alternative to there being no air conditioning unit in our large room.

Staying at this house was an unforgettable experience. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, a balcony view was spectacular! And general atmosphere. It was like we were at home. Host organized wonderful bamboo rafting for us and gave helpful advises about Khao Sok boat trip. This house is located on a hill so you have a look a the mountains around. The place is dark at night and is perfect for stargazing

The location is amazing, the view over the jungle and the mountains is incomparable. Chompunut is the most friendly and amazing host we ever had. She is so kind and helpful with all her guests and attends personally to all the matters. She even helped us save money by organizing a taxi for us to our next destination. I can’t recommend enough, if you plan on visiting Khao Sok, you have to go to Billion Views.

It’s a little older place but everything was clean and worked, including the AC and great shower. The good staff makes up for slightly tired facilities.

Location can’t be beat! Less crowded Bangrak beach (Big Buddha Beach) was like our own private beach. Close to the airport and plenty of wonderful cafes, massage, 7 Eleven walking distance. Waking up right on the beach was perfect. The staff is great and this small hotel is a lovely oasis in busy Samui. 5 min Grab or taxi to Fisherman’s Village if you want the shopping and hustle and bustle. Great choice for our short stay - could have stayed longer! Really good value and good communication prior to arrival.

We were woken a bit by the dogs barking during a couple of nights. Some of the birds are also loud at night but you’re surrounded by nature so this is expected :) . The hosts English is excellent but I believe my kiwi accent may have been difficult to understand as we had a few instances of miscommunication. But it always worked out and wasn’t an issue. The rooms have no aircon but the listing is clear about this and wasn’t a problem for us.

The view is incredible, Billion Views and probably an understatement. The views are amazing, some of the best you’ll see. The host is super lovely and works really hard for her guests. It’s clear from her effort to help and be available. Our 2 year old loved the two Labradors. The two bedroom unit was large and had plenty of space. We really loved the food here and had it been within our budget we would’ve eaten every night here! There was a great local thai place at the end of the road with dishes for 50-70thb which we loved! My second photo isn’t from the accommodation but I couldn’t work out how to delete…

We absolutely loved Billion Views - the location takes your breath away. It’s a beautiful house and we had some great food, a lot of which was organic and grown at the homestay. Chompunut made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. She organised some fab days out - saw lots of monkeys bamboo rafting and bathed elephants in the sanctuary . Thankfully she was able to arrange our taxi when we were let down on the morning of departure. We made some new friends and the dogs were great fun too! We look forward to visiting again one day.

Great hosts, location, food and views. The house is wonderful and comes with two cute dogs. When you arrive they can arrange any activity for you. Would highly recommend this place to anyone! It’s a place we will remember for a very long time. Thanks for the amazing time!
