The breakfast room can get very hot and needs some ceiling fans to circulate air. The restaurant area is outside, but often had a bad smell and the floor had broken planks, so we stopped eating there. My wife had an unfortunate accident which I will explain. The driveway to the hotel entrance opposite the security guards hut kept getting flooded and smells of drainage after heavy rains. This is the only exit from the hotel to the shops and there is no pedestrian walkway. My wife slipped and fell badly walking back to the hotel one night in this flooded area as it had black slimy coating on the concrete. She grazed both her knees and one elbow badly on the concrete in this smelly water. She was soaking wet crying in pain and her handbag and food shopping all landed in the water. We helped her to the reception area with another guest and surprisingly the hotel had no medical facilities to deal with this. The receptionist sent a member of staff to get first aid bandages sterile water and antiseptic cream, from a pharmacy and gave them to us, which we paid for and we cleaned and dealt with the injuries ourselves. The fall was bad and could have been much worse. The next day the hotel power cleaned the flooded area and dug a drainage ditch. This was a big improvement and it didn’t flood again even after heavy rain. This should have been done long before though. We were however disappointed that the manager never came to ask how my wife was, but the other staff were very nice and concerned. This definitely made a difference to our stay and we had to cancel some activities that we had planned for a few days.

Great location with beautiful gardens and Thai style bungalows. The staff are all super friendly and very helpful and kind to our 12 year daughter and made sure she was always happy. We had a great time with the kayak that is available to go with in the sea, which our daughter loved. The pool area overlooking the sea is really nice place to relax. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of options. The restaurant food is good both Thai and western. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and 7/11

Not enough umbrellas at the pool, difficult to stay in shade. Very limited breakfast choices for vegetarians. The road to the resort is not properly lit so it's not pleasant to walk at night.

Friendly staff, good location, good value for money. Clean and comfortable rooms, good aircon, tasty food in the restaurant, nice pool bar and a beautiful garden.

The price of this resort suggests that breakfast and service should be kept at a better level.

Nice resort which used to be very nice resort, but time takes its price. Stuff friendly and nice. Rooms are still in good condition and are spacious and nice. Beach is nice. Pool is nice and clean, facing ocean. Very green resort with many plants and trees. Location on the island is perfect, restaurants, bakery, vegetables shops, all walking distance to the main road.

Sometime the beach had a Sulfer smell (when tide was low). Can’t be helped (nature). Beautiful beach nether-the-less.

Lovely hotel. Beautiful created for a lovely stay. The gardens around the villas create a wonderful vibe, nice pool, and we loved the ‘common area’ that allowed air conditioned reading, games, or just relaxing.

The shower basin water doesn't run well and slippery. Breakfast variety is not much.

It is near 2 very nice restaurants that serve very authentic Thai food. One of them even decorated the food artistically.

The hotel is a little worn out and needs some TLC. Some fans in the breakfast room and down at the bar area are needed in this heat with no aircon or sea breeze. Sandflies - an issue all over Koh Chang so not just this resort The AC in the rooms are very loud (ok if you like white noise like us but know others struggle)

Friendly staff, rooms clean and comfortable, lovely pool over looking the ocean - it was quiet and not a big resort so no waiting for breakfast tables etc. pool loungers always available. Breakfast had good variety both western and thai options.

The beach itself is poor. More like a sandy estuary than a beach that we had to walk far out to get any depth. Not very pretty either but would suit children and adults paddling. Accommodation becoming tired and will shortly require refurbishing.

While the breakfast (overlooking the ocean) was fantastic the dinners weren’t of the same calibre - maybe we just chose the wrong dishes to try. Also the hot water wasn’t very hot on the three cloudier days we experienced. But hardly something to complain about!

The setting, the beach and the staff made for an exceptional vacation spot, especially if you enjoy the water and beach combing. A bit of a walk to the main road of Klong Phrao with restaurants, a few shops, etc but free rides there made it easy. The villa was lovely with the most comfortable bed we’d had in our six weeks away. Oh and the pool was lovely too - warm and clean and well tended.
