Our online request for a ground floor room resulted in an offer to upgrade, at a high price to us, and with a margin of 1 second between the arrival of the hotel's offer and their deadline for us to answer. This was bad PR. On check-in, we eventually received a ground floor room at no extra cost. Plenty of ground floor rooms were vacant.

The resort is located in the peaceful area with access right to the beach. Located in a very green lush tropical garden, like a forest. The room is well decorated in Thai style, spacious, comfortable and practical. All necessary amenities are provided in the room. I specifically like shower gel and body lotion since they are produced from Thai herb like lemongrass. Superb! The staffs are very helpful and nice. We got upgraded room and late check-out as requested. The buffet breakfast offers varieties of Thai and Western cousin!, esp. Green chicken curry is fantastic. Highly recommended accommodation in Khaolak when you want to have a chilled vacation and pamper yourself.

Music on the beach restaurant next door. Not the hotel's fault but this sort of thing should be kept in Phuket resorts and spoilt the quietness of this location.

It was the best Hotel we stayed in Thailand. The stuff was so friendly. My boyfriend got sick and they helped us with everything. The location and the rooms are wonderful. The breakfast amazing. I would recommend it for everyone! The money absolutely valuable!

If you don't have transport you are isolated (we have a car so this wasn't a problem). The hotel does offer a shuttle service for 120baht pp to the nearby town and night market for those that need it

We booked this as a last minute trip to relax and unwind. It was perfect. The 2 storey cottages around a pool (6 cottages) felt secluded and the pool was never overcrowded. There was also the option of using the infinity pool near the beach. The pool had powerful jets and was cleaned daily. Our room was comfortable and had everything you need - flip flops, umbrellas, robes, toiletries, bottled water, coffee machine! We booked the upstairs room and really enjoyed relaxing on the large balcony. The bath tub filled quickly and the water was hot. We ate in the restaurant and found the food to be tasty and there was a good choice. 2for1 cocktail promotion was great and included mocktails. Watching amazing sunsets from there was a highlight of our trip. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, it was perfect!

The location was just a little isolated. Having your own transport would be ideal.

The resort itself was nestled in amongst the lush, well-kept tropical gardens. We had our own garden area as well. The pool was huge, clean, and close to the coconut bar, which was handy for happy hour cocktails. The breakfasts were exceptional!! Apart from the usual breads, danishes, cereals, fresh fruits, and juices, there were 6 different hot dishes to choose from, including Thai food, along with an egg station. And 2 coffee machines to keep you caffeinated!! Best ☕️, but also a selection of teas! We ate at the restaurant next door, The Pine Tree, which was a very nice option for dinner The staff and hospitality at Bangsak were wonderful. They also have a shuttle to take you into Khao Lak or night markets.

Apart from the breakfast, the restaurant food wasn’t great, very mediocre and expensive comparatively, especially when neighboured by some really good some restaurants on the beach. Not the fault of the hotel but the nighttime insects sounds were so loud, this resulted in broken sleep each night - Perhaps better soundproofing in the rooms would reduce this?

Large rooms, very clean. Beautiful and quiet location. The pool is amazing, really clean and spacious. The breakfast offering was excellent, much better than expected. The cocktails were fantastic. Staff really friendly.

Lovely quiet location away from Khao Sak. Beautiful room (chalet bungalow) was perfect! Restaurant was good and great pool. Restaurants along the beach nearby offer choice for eating out
