The rooms could have done with some updating. The aircon worked but not amazingly well. The bathroom had a mesh covered window but ants and mosquitoes were still able to get in.

The garden bungalow was a good size and had a large verandah. The swimming pools were lovely and were kept nice and clean. The surroundings were lush and green and had lots of birds and butterflies. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. There was a taxi rank just around the corner and a handy mini mart across the road with coin-operated washing machines available.

Bungalows are in very beautiful area. Really nice calm place, not so far from the beach, main street with shops and bars also close. There were few small things we didn't like, but still could go back there.

No hot water at the sink. A kettle would have been nice. Whilst the room was no smoking, we often couldn’t sit out on our balcony without inhaling smoke from other guests. This was annoying but not the fault of the hotel.

The location was great - a short walk to restaurants one way and a small beach the other way where you could enjoy sun loungers for THB80 and good food. A small convenient store opposite which also hired good bicycles, motorbikes and washing machines. The resort pool was a good length for laps although L shaped. The staff were wonderful and so helpful and kind to arrange a late breakfast for us. The breakfast staff were super helpful and there were a wide variety of tasty breakfast options to choose from. Room 206 overlooked the pool and was spacious, clean and comfortable. The a/c worked well but was a little noisy. Good sized fridge too.

I didn't like how it advertised it was beach front, you actually have to take a bus or take a motorbike to the nearest beach.

Only issue was the wifi, which was awful! It constantly cut out or had no reception at all.

Lovely property, yes the room itself is a little dated, but has lots of character! Breakfast was great and the pool area was really nice. Close to the beach if you want to see it (it’s quite rocky) but you have to walk further for a beach you can swim in. Staff were super helpful. Reception is also happy to organise tours to Surin and Similian islands for much cheaper prices than local touring.

The night market and main shopping/eating area is about 10 mins walk but that’s OK because you don’t get any noise at hotel. Very relaxing and would definitely stay again when in Khao Lak. It seemed unusual to put a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee. Lots of bugs around the pool and breakfast areas - quite possibly due to the time of year - apply bug spray!

Beautiful pool area, set in jungle-like surroundings with mango trees, coconut palms, bamboo and birdlife. Location is great if you want to be in a slightly quieter area but still within 10 mins walk of the bars and restaurants. Superb range of choice for breakfast. They vary it a bit from day to day to keep it interesting - the banana samosas were excellent as was the fresh brewed coffee. I also liked that breakfast started at 0630; perfect when you're heading out diving. Rooms are very spacious, equipped with a TV, fridge, bottled water and a kettle. Air con was effective. Handy corner shop opposite reception rents out scooters and bicycles for a very competitive rate.

The location - very quiet, but about 15 minutes walk from the centre. The complex as a whole - very appealing, had a bungalow, plenty of space, good bathroom. Breakfast is very good - unusual for Thailand, especially in this price range. Just opposite a small supermarket, convenient. On the way to the centre there are a few pubs and bars.

They rate this a 3 star resort but it was just as nice as the 4 star places I've stayed in Phuket. I only stayed one night as it was simply a stopover after a diving trip to decompress before my flight home, but it was perfect - good location just 5mins to the main strip of restaurants and bars, and only 300m walk to the beach. Staff were lovely, room was clean and tidy, and larger than I expected, and stepped outside straight into the pool. Bed was very comfortable, I slept a solid 11hrs which was exactly what I needed after 4 nights on a dive boat. My flight wasn't until late evening but the staff offered to store my luggage and let me use the pool even after I'd checked out. Highly recommend.
