Some reviews complain that you have to walk along the beach for 300 metres to get there. That’s what I loved. No traffic noise. Beautiful.

Simple and nice! Don’t expect to have a 5 star resort experience. It is a rustic type of experience with minimal amenities. the quiet, quaint setting makes up big. The inn keeper is so helpful and sweet. Definitely stay at Bangbao again.

Stunning location right on a lovely part of the beach with good swimming. Only a half hour walk to the pier with some great eateries on the way. Staff are lovely too and made us feel so welcome.

There was nothing we did not like about the property. Of course if you go in the rainy season be prepared to use the toilet at the discretion of the weather 😁 and don’t mind the gecko onlookers when taking a shower … this is to be expected from an outdoor bathroom 😀

The accommodation was exactly as described and what you saw in photos. The location of the ‘beach hut’ right on the beach, only metres from the sea. Listening to the waves at night was lovely as we fell asleep. Great area for swimming … 50m along the beach. Staff were friendly, especially Kung. Everything was clean and tidy and great if you love tranquility and nature.

Owner who were on the holiday in HongKong did not react on my messages for whole day before arrival. I had a big luggages, so I went somehow based on google maps. After few calls owner finally answered and said “keep going on the beach, its over there, I am in HK and dont have time, bye.” So I took my 20kg luggages though the sand, arrived totally hot and upset. I dont get why the owner doesnt take care about new arrivals when he is not there… I expected more. I also dont understand why I am not respectfull, I am respecting everyone, but not people who are not able to help people who paid their money them ! You should stop drinking instead I think, your mental health is probably damaged.

Nice location, really calm place, after the sunset almost nothing is hearable and visible.

It's a bit far from the main road and the pick up trucks won't take you all the way , so you have to walk 1-200m on the beach, but they can help with your luggage. On the other hand the distance from the road is a plus because you won't ear any traffic noise...

Great place right on the beach in the less busy part of the island, perfect if you look for quiet and relax and proper tropical Island feeling. Very well managed and taken care in every detail, it's like a garden on the beach, staff super kind and welcoming, real paradise. Close to the pier to catch boats for day trips or connection to other islands. We had a little problem with the air con in our bungalow and they quickly offered us to change room for one that was even better. Delicious and cheap restaurant just next to It.

Beach huts are all on the beach. Sea view. Very relaxing. Owners/staff very helpful. Bed very comfortable. Adjacent restaurant within a minute with excellent food.

At the end of the road on a beautiful beach I found paradise. Everything from the staff, food, cottage, setting could not have been better. A perfect place to unplug and recharge.

Perfect place to relax on the beach. The Chalets are 50 m from the sandy beach with comfortable beach beds under shady trees. The rooms are airconditioned and the beds very comfortable. It's lovely to sit on the porch in the morning to have a Coffee or in the evening to watch the sunset. I enjoyed the peace and the quiet of the place. No party music;) Just the sea and birds singing. Good Restaurants are in the direct neighbourhood. Jebbie and her Team are just wonderful. Helpful in any ways. Thank you Jebbie for looking after us so well.🙏😍 All in all a perfect place to stay on Koh Chang:)

We had wished we could walk to other areas more as this is a very remote beach. The villa we stayed it was pretty simple. It looked like other villas had been upgraded but ours felt like a cheap motel on the beach. It worked and we loved our stay but though the inside would be a little nicer.

The location was ideal right on the beach. Bang Bao Beach is pretty remote so it’s not walkable to other areas of the island even the pier. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The only things that weren't perfect were not knowing to organise my bags to be collected from the road and of the communal refrigerator. Now I know, it will be perfect when I return.

The location and staff are faultless. A relaxed vibe on the best beach in Koh Chang. I arrived ill and was looked after superbly. I cannot praise staff enough.

Nothing really.

It’s away from traffic on a calm beach. Its meticulously maintained and the owner tens care of it an her guests. She fully accustomed to international clients and profoundly helpful. Do note that on arrival it’s useful to arrange luggage pickup with her since you will lug it across the beach otherwise.

The host is so kind and friendly. She was very welcoming and nice to have a conversation with. She is genuinely interested in her guests and making sure they have a nice stay. The bungalow itself is situated in a “pinch yourself” location. Walking out the door everyday to a postcard perfect beach was something else. I feel this location is the most stunning on the island, albeit away from everything else - this becomes the charm

The last mile of the street by car is terrible.

It is quiet, nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful and speeks English. If you want to have a nice beach and relax this is your place.
