It was a bit under construction when we were there so the pool area and the green areas weren’t that great!

Very Nice room with great shower and comfortable beds and big TV. The breakfast was awesome with lots to choose from.

There were some renovations going on but they didn't bother us much. Overall the stay was amazing.

The Villa with private pool was excellent and access to the hotel's private beach was a big plus. Staff were amazing and tried everything to make us at feel welcome. Their restaurant by the beach was the highlight with good meal options and a very nice breakfast. Location is also amazing as its a short walk from the fishermen's village. I would definitely choose Bandara anytime I go to Koh Samui.

Great resort, the room was great, plenty of storage, a huge comfortable bed with comfortable linen and extra pillows. large balcony with room to hang up swimmers to dry, outdoor table, and ceiling fan if you want to sit outside 🥵. Amenities were also great. The shower and bathroom area met our needs. Room serviced daily with fresh water and towels, linen if you chose.

Loved the room, the AC was good, comfortable beds and the plunge pool room was very private. The staff went out of their way to make our honeymoon trip special with flower petels on the bed and beautiful towel arangments also leaving a cake on my husbands birthday in the room. We loved how the resort led down to the beach, with sun beds available and towels. Swimming in the sea and hotel pools was good fun. The location is perfect, close to fisherman's village full of good restaurants and bars. The hotel restaurant was good and we enjoyed breakfast.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing looking over the beach. Sadly the pool next to the beach was being renovated, I'm sure that will look amazing once finished. The other pool was great though.

Unfortunately they were renovating the pool area by the beach from October 01- November 15 ☹️

We had two rooms - a dbl deluxe and a tropical with a big balcony. Both very nice. The staff were very service minded. The restaurant by the beach was great. The location of the hotel was perfect - a very nice beach and only five minutes walk from the market /Fishermans Village.

The mattresses were not that convenient to my end and in generally (I believe) for people with back pains. It felt like the mattress is "crushed down" a bit and even when the stuff moved me to another room with a new mattress (according to them it was switched three weeks back) it wasn't much of a help for me but perhaps people with no back issue can sleep easily. There was a small gap (about 1 cm) below the main door that brings in humidity that causes some areas on the floor to get "sweaty" (out of the AC working). This also causes this weird smell that you can smell only when you enter the room (nothing that really interfere with your entire stay).

The location is great, less than 10 min to the fisherman village area (also 20 min by taxi to the Chaweng area) The hotel as great facilities such as the pool and the restaurant that were super close, maintained, clean and delicious. The staff is absolutely amazing especially Nami the lady who works at the reception who was so friendly and helpful. Wow wow wow ❤️

There was building work going on which meant one swimming pool and bar was out of action. It wasn’t a big problem but the pool was busy with children at times.

Garden villa room with pool was lovely. Great location near the beach and Fisherman’s Village.

That we were not advised that there was construction work happening at the hotel until the day of which took away the bar and our favourite pool that overlooked the beach. The hotel needs a few touch ups as worn in places.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. Diamond was our favourite, he was always smiling, would always go above and beyond for us. The staff would always greet you and were very friendly/accommodating. The bar and breakfast area were special, the views and atmosphere were exactly what you want for a relaxing holiday. Location was perfect- literally a 5 min walk to the fisherman's village- so many restaurants, bars and a market 3 times a week. All of the tours were never far from the hotel. A convenience store was a 2 min walk. Pools were great, never too crowded, always space to lounge and we loved happy hour.

The restaurant area got a little hot at breakfast but expected on an island in Thailand! Luckily there is also an air conditioned room with seating.

The whole resort is extremely well kept, clean and well located! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, thank you Cleo! Our room included complementary mini bar which was not expected but really appreciated. The breakfast was also delicious and had a lot of choices. Thank you Bandara team!

Not the best location on the island if you want to explore around.

Like the facilities in general. Spaceious room which smells amazing upon checking. Too bad I didn't get the name of the essential oils they use. Aircondition. The pool size was nice, great breakfast selection, gym was adequate, and the resort staff. I understand why families would prefer to stay in Bandara.
