The price was high for what you get. No a/c, no hot water kettle in the room or complimentary coffee for guests. I felt that i'm staying in a room at a restaurant and less of a resort or hotel. you are kinda paying extra for the name of the place. The place was really empty during my stay of 5 days, which was a bummer as a solo traveler.

The style of the rooms is really nice. The view was beautiful and lush! This place is a really nice hideaway This place is great for 2-3 days as a solo traveler.

The power did go off in the middle of the night and the fans did not work for a few hours (this is bound to happen on a small island), so it wasn't a big issue, just hot!

The eco huts are adorable and spacious. We were in one with multiple fans to keep things cool. There is a bugs net over the bed which helps to prevent mosquitos. We arrived after reception was closed and the staff were so helpful and accommodating for us.

Great location - calm but close to the centre and beach of Srithanu. Orion Healing is next door. Every member of the staff I met was very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Ei Ei at the reception! Great chat with the owner Dolf as well.hi Beautiful bungalows and garden. I stayed in hut no. 1 which had a fan. I recommend renting a room with an aircon when coming here during the hotter months.

For the price you pay I do think there should be air conditioning as it’s just too hot to do anything inside of the hut. I think this place is nice for a short stay but too hot for long term. Also not sure why the other bungalows had a fan on their balcony but we didn’t, would have been a lot more comfortable with the extra fan!

It’s literally right on the beach. So amazing to wake up, look out the window and see the sea!! It’s a really cute little bungalow and love the bamboo look. Comfy hammock that we enjoyed using.

Not a very good beach outside the bungalow, and a bit hidden area in the djungle.

Just one small detail, you are provided with two bottles of water in your fridge on the first day but they are not replenished after that and despite a fitness centre being on site there is nowhere to fill your water bottle up, I’ve been travelling all over Asia for six weeks now and everywhere I’ve stayed the water bottles or water filter machine have been provided/available every day of my stay. For the price you pay I think this should be included.

This was my Second time staying at bamboo bay, I love the cute little beach huts with the hammock for relaxing on the porch and the location for me is amazing, being right next to Orion yoga healing centre, it’s also very close to many restaurants, supermarket, atms and ‘happy’ beach

We left the room in the reception for cleaning but when we came back the room hadn’t been cleaned. The next morning when I told about it they still didn’t clean until 5pm.

The bungalow was very cozy and the location was walking distance from restaurants and zen beach.

Unfortunately, as it’s a bamboo Hutt, it’s like sleeping in a tent so you can hear absolutely everything around you. There is 3 roosters that goes around the property and they just didn’t let us sleep. We stayed for 10 days and it was only 2 nights they didn’t sing from midnight or 3an til morning. That was very unpleasant specially when you have to wake up early for doing activities.

The little cove is wonderful, you can fall asleep with the sound of the waves and nature around. The hutts in the jungle are very cute. There is everything you need in the bungalows which makes it very pleasant to stay in. The beds are comfortable as well.

No air conditioner! As their seasonal, there are renovation works in the hotel every day from 8 am to 5 pm

Beautiful and large bamboo rooms, with all equipment. Suitable for those who love nature, the whole house is open and not sealed, shower with curtains only. We didn't stay at the hotel because of the renovations, we had to pay for one night but we got a credit for the rest of the nights without a problem. The hosts were nice and understanding.

The hut is a little bit smaller as I expected, my hut was the only one without glass doors but will get changed soon I got told. Would have been nice to get water bottles replaced every day.

Super nice and small property where you feel like in the jungle, very green and well maintained. The hut itself and especially the terrace with a hammock was so cozy and I felt very comfortable. Staff is also very helpful, the owners are from South Africa and very friendly too. But keep in mind this is a simple hut and a special experience you can´t compare to a normal hotel room. Also expect jungle sound of animals. There are good restaurants and cafes nearby I visited couple times. I was not bothered of the healing centre next to it. Wifi is working extremly good even in the hut. I really enjoyed my stay.

It would be great if there were drinking water in the resort.

I was doing the detox program in Orion. For that purpose, Bamboo bay is ideal location. It is even closer to Orion than some of the accommodation from Orion itself. And Rudolf and Rachel were super nice.
