Ground floor private rooms had windows that faced inside the building so no sunlight.

Great staff. We arrived at 8am and weren’t meant to check in till 2 but our room was free so we were let in early. Great atmosphere with fun activities every evening. Would recommend!

The room socket does not take a grounding pin. So be careful when you come to ensure you don't have a converter with a grounding pin or be willing to bash that sucker off to keep your stuff powered. The staff try and keep everyone quiet during the evening but it's a backpacker sometimes there will be noise in the hallway and if you are hard of sleeping you may be woken. I was but again. This is a great place to meet people. I haven't stayed in other places around Khaosan but this seems like the place to go if you want to meet people but not be in a club to begin with. This feels like a solid university-style dorm where you can meet people pregame and then go out. Other places may give you the club vibe but I really liked the chilled natural way in which you can meet people here. I stayed in a private room, it wasn't a high thrill stay, for some extra money I'm sure you could get a hotel room. But that's not why you stay in a backpackers you go to meet people and this place will do it while being a fine place to stay. Private rooms aircon is a godsend, the size isn't good but it's a bed and a Bathroom, a place to hang some stuff what else do you really need. Some will complain about the beds being too hard but I'm finding most beds in Thailand even ones in 4.5-star hotels are pretty hard that's just the way. I'll be honest I enjoyed staying here more than the hotel it felt like I was in Thailand.

The rooms are a bit narrow and become cluttered.

Stayed here 4 times now and always had a great time. It's very sociable without being a party hostel and is a 10 min walk from khao San road!

Amazing social atmosphere with activities in the evenings; we met so many people. Bar with good priced drinks. Great common area. 2 bathrooms per dorm. Staff were incredible. Each bed had a shelf, plug socket and light. Lots of fans in the room so not too hot. Big lockers that you can fit your whole bag in.

Great location near khao San but in a nice quiet street with lots of good street food. Some sort of activity on every day and quite easy to meet people at the little tables outside where you can buy beers. Met some fun people here and had a great time. Good AC and comfortable rooms

Just to be really really picky the only thing I would say would be that it would be good to have a night light on the bunks for reading etc

This hostel was lovely, really nice and vibey but not a party hostel. Its literally a 6 minute walk to khoasan road so it's close enough to walk but not so close that you're right in the midst of it. There's 2 toilets and a shower in each dorm which is great cos it's not like a big block that the whole hostel shares. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There's right opposite and also a laundrette outside as well

I spent a few nights in the hostel and I definitely recommend it! I went back there every time I was in Bangkok. Cool atmosphere, friendly people, nice and always helpful stuff :) The hostel is also clean, you can see that they care about it.

no breakfast, no bigger lockers (I assume no place), too long breaks about the air condition

good płace to stay in. bearable price for Bangkok. It is a pity that breakfast is not included in this price. location - great. 2 blocks to Khao San Road - close to walking, far enough to sleep in peace at night. 8min ferry port. 20min walk and you are at the big buddha around which there are other attractions. to the right of exit 7/11, to the left a delicious Pad Thai for 60bht. One bathroom and one toilet per 10 people. if necessary, you can use the others on the lower floors. there was no queue. curtains by the beds provide privacy. the air conditioning is really cooling. unfortunately they shut down between 10am and 6pm. bar on the ground floor, despite everything you can't hear anything in the room. A very social hostel. no lockers in the room - either you have a padlock and use the ones on the lower floor (small ones) or you keep things by the bed. they offer blanket and towel.

Overall I'm happy with the accommodation but there was occasionally a strong smell that would come through from outside, but I'm not sure if that is a regular thing or if there was a drainage issue of some sort. It only happened twice during my two day stay. The curtain did not go all the way to the bottom (about 1 foot uncovered, as pictured).

Great location close to lots of bars and restaurants. The bar at the hostel had a great, relaxed vibe and there were activities each evening. My single room was comfortable and the air con worked well!
