Very cozy, nice villa with a swimming pool that was perfect to cool down during the heat. For us it was perfectly placed as it was near to the beaches and food stalls and far away from all the fuss. We were fully enjoying the "concerts" of the jungle every evening. We were also provided nice scooters at a very reasonable price. Btw it's also a perfect spot to get used to riding a scooter (if you don't have a habit) as the traffic is very low. Julanee was very welcoming and her breakfasts were pure pleasure. We were very sad to leave this place and obviously we highly recommend it!

The villa was spacious, well equipped, clean and offered privacy. The mountains and sea view from the balcony and the pool added a lot. Julanee and her staff were so helpful and so reliable! We enjoyed our stay so much!

I felt it is a bit far from the 2 main streets, thongsala and Haad Rin which means travelling in the evening to and from there will be a little challenge.

The rooms are very cozy without letting much noise in. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and just relax and focus without moving around much, then this is the ideal location. Very Clean and well maintained.

Very nice location at the top of the hill (no mosquito). Fantastic breakfast, pool with view, washing machine, AC, complimentary drives to town and to the beach (Thong Nai Pan Yai beach is great with swings, playground, bar/restaurants, diving center), possibility to rent car and scooters. Super nice with kids, we had a great stay, thank you so much!

Unfortunately, I found the pressure in the shower to be a bit too little and washing my hair is a bit tedious. (in one of the two rooms)

The breakfast is very tasty and a la carte. Our landlady got up extra early on our departure day to make us breakfast. The location is great, right on one of the most beautiful beaches in Koh Phangan! Some food options nearby. The view is a dream! The minibar was also refilled every day and was very special Can recommend this accommodation 100%. We will be back!

I would honestly say the only downside was the size of the hills surrounding the villa, very steep but that's Koh Phangan for you! Also the villa we stayed in was a little on the shaded side but that again is actually very appreciate if your in the sun all day.

Our stay was absolutely flawless! From the outset, Julanee, our host, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was extraordinary. She facilitated seamless communication, arranged for a warm welcome at the pier, and personally greeted us upon check-in, effortlessly organizing additional amenities such as ped hire and other extras tailored to our needs. The villa itself exuded a captivating blend of modern elegance and luxury. The infinity pool, perfectly sized and strategically positioned, offered mesmerizing vistas of the lush jungle, providing an unparalleled sense of seclusion and privacy. Every corner of the villa exuded comfort and cleanliness, leaving us feeling pampered and relaxed throughout our stay. A highlight of our mornings was indulging in the delectable breakfast offerings at the charming boutique-style café nestled within the villa premises.

The sofa in our living area was not the most comfortable and very small.

Views were beautiful, rooms were cleaned every morning while we were at breakfast, breakfast was very good with variety for everyone. When something wasn’t on the menu, it was never too much trouble to make it :) coffee was very very good and banana shake with peanut butter even better. Julannee our host was so helpful with a car rental (this is needed for sure) and made us feel very welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble. A really nice stay for 10 nights with my fiancé and 2 young children.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. During our 3-week trip to Thailand, we stayed at 5 different locations and this was our favourite experience by far. The mountain views were incredible, the private pool was such a treat, and Julanee and her staff were so friendly and polite. The breakfast cafe was soo beautiful and the food + drinks were delicious. My husband had the English breakfast daily since he is Irish and loves beans and bangers. I tried something different every day and it was all yummy and filling. The first night we opted to walk to the 7-eleven/Thong Nai Pan beach side, and it's completely walkable even with the hills. At night, it can be a bit worrisome with the fast scooters going around the bend, so that's why we opted to get scooters from Julanee for the rest of our stay and to explore other parts of the island. The taxi service was convenient to have as we needed a way to get to Haad Rin beach for the crazy busy NYE party and everything was seamless. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful oasis away from the crowds, this is the place. We loved our stay so much that we'll be back again. Thanks again Julanee!

Sunset beach a bit far.

I am definitely strongly recommend this villa for big families/ friends reunion: everyone have their privacy but pool is awesome and feel like peaceful and full of nature. Great beach near by but not for sunset . But my 3 year old got a serious influenza and I saw mostly the room : owner and staff were SO CARING!! Took us to hospital and didn’t say a word about baby bleeding nose. Breakfasts was amazing and good choices. I am truly recommend this place - great vibe and support was received . We took bikes from the villa owner .

There was nothing we didn't like about the villa or island. Koh Phangan is a piece of paradise.

After a short journey by car from the ferry port we arrived at Baan View Talay Pool Villas. We were welcomed by our lovely host Julanee. The view from our villa was probably the best I have ever seen in my 55 years, It was simply breathtaking and one which will stay with us forever. The villa was immaculately presented and the fridge well stocked with refreshing beverages. The pool was a real treat and the breakfast which Julanee prepared for us each morning was absolutely delicious and served with the best coffee on the island. We loved the location of the villa which was only a 2 minute bike ride to the beautiful beaches and local restaurants. We will return soon and hopefully stay much longer next time.

Lovely villa & infinity pool. Villa has everything you need for your stay. Julanee and her staff are excellent - so helpful, kind and friendly. The breakfast each morning was delicious too. Location near two beaches. Short walk to Thong Nai Pan Yai, which is very pretty and quiet with local bars/restaurants. A bit further the other side is Thong Nai Pan Noi, which is more touristy and has a bigger restaurants/bars.

These villas are absolutely incredible. They are very private and ours had a lovely view of the hills and sea. The pool is perfectly sized for a family of 4 and although not heated was a very warm. We stayed in a two bed villa which was brilliantly laid out and gave us our own kids/adult spaces. The air con was amazing too as it was very hot on certain days. One of the best things about this place is the staff. Julianee is such a wonderful host and couldn't do enough for us. She happily ferried us to and from the village every day and organised day trips for us and taxis when we wanted to go further afield. Also - the breakfasts are incredible, especially the coffee which is better than any coffee I have ever had in my life. The small village is a ten minute walk away and is like a movie set. Not only does it all look beautiful but the restaurants are all really nice and cheap. We also ate on the beach at Buri Rasa a few times which was nice but our favourite place was Rasta Baby - a really cool bar with a tree house style restaurant serving delicious food. All in all I think Baan View is the best possible place you could stay in this area and definitely the best value for money. We have stayed at the Anantara here before which (although a better location in the middle of all the action) is nowhere near as nice as Baan View, gives you way less space and is about 4 times the price. ps - don't go to the Elephant ''sanctuary''near to the villa - they were chained up and looked utterly miserable and idiotic tourists were riding on their backs which they clearly didn't enjoy as they were clinging onto the railings desperately trying to not have to walk until the person in charge banged them on the head with a sharp spear. Awful place.
