Incredibly grateful to have shared this amazing home with the owners who are the most welcoming and friendly people. I was greeted with a gift on arrival and also served an amazing breakfast every morning. The premises also includes great spaces to unwind and enjoy the peaceful nature that the home boasts. I would definitely have another stay here.

The owners are a lovely couple. Really helpful and kind. I had to leave early to catch a plane and they still arranged breakfast for me before I left. The house is an old wooden house with a beautiful garden. It has a lot of charm. I had a great stay at Baan Tepa and hope to come again one day.

It was such an amazing experience in the most heavenly place in Bangkok! This authentic guesthouse is very well maintained, clean and spacious. Simply the most idyllic place you can imagine. This lovely couple who runs the place was so kind and welcoming, it felt like spending a weekend at your grandma’s. Every morning the lady served the most delicious traditional Thai breakfast(every day something different), when her husband would tell you interesting stories about Thailand. So grateful 🙏🏾 Definitely coming back here again! This guesthouse is the soul of Bangkok.

If I could give this place a hundred stars, I absolutely would. I almost didn’t want to review it so it would stay the hidden gem that it is, but the owners deserve to have a lot of business. Truly the sweetest place I have stayed in all my travels. Immaculately clean, comfortable, air conditioned, *extremely* nice bathrooms, delicious breakfast, and owners that take care of you like you’re family. I want to come back to Bangkok just to stay again!

Honestly, for the price I don’t think it could have been better - no problems and exceeded my expectations.

The only slight downside is that the location is a little far from all the main tourist attractions, just need to taxi or bus around.

Such a wonderful stay, feels like home! Breakfast is very delicious and the hosts are so kind and friendly. Everything was great, the bed was comfortable, good pillows, fast wifi, strong AC, beautiful original decoration, and soft towels. The flowers and garden is so nice.

My room did not have windows that opened to fresh air, and the next-door neighbors could be noisy. This is just part of the experience of staying in an older home and neighborhood!

The neighborhood is fun to explore because it’s near many temples, food vendors, lively shops and meandering alleys. The home is very peaceful and beautiful! I most appreciated the host family, who welcomed me with warmth and delicious food.

Ung n Tag were wonderful. They tried there best to please me. Ung even cooked delicious dishes especially for me. A little far from the city but very easy and cheap with Grab. They have a beautiful garden. Thanks a lot again Ung n Tag. Big hug.

The kindest and attentive hosts ever! I was greeted by a fresh ginger tea and felt instantly at home. Room is in a traditional thai style and very clean! Which i appreciate a lot! There is a great hot shower, bottled water that you can always take for free & tea. Breakfast was fantastic! I was asked to choose from the menu and this is what awaited me in the morning. Try fried rice with shrimps. I loved it. I appreciated how i also always got fresh fruits next to it, so it was really a fulfilling meal:) For the location- i mostly commuted with taxis (check an app called Grab, it's like an uber in EU) or walked (i.e. khao san road is 25min away by foot). Depends where you want to go:) Thank you again for everything! I had such a nice stay and felt so welcomed in your beautiful home! 💖

Very clean and nicely decorated rooms. The Hosts were exceptionally friendly and we were welcomed with a present and a delicious ginger juice. The selfcooked Breakfast has been a highlight every morning.

I was travelling solo and observed that the room would have been a little small for 2 people? or maybe I just took up too much room with all of my luggage. It was however the perfect size for me

Honestly this was one of my most favourite stays in Thailand! I wanted a traditional thai experience so booked this place and it did not disappoint. I got to the property at 3-4am and the staff were happy to wait for me. The staff were so hospitable and lovely. I felt at home. They made me breakfast everyday and were happy to give it even on days I woke up super late. The kind lady also gave me an elephant tote bag and washed my clothes. The room itself was cosy, shower was decent. The water was fairly cold but it didn't really bother me. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic thai experience! and I will be back :)

It’s a bit further from the city, but you can use motor taxis! Super fast and also fun so actually that is a plus :)

Very kind and warming welcome. Every day you get a freshly cooked Thai breakfast. Water is provided free of charge. Room is cosy and colorful with good air conditioning.

The couple that run it are wonderful. Breakfast was tasty. Nice quiet place. It’s a 10 minute walk from the Thewe river boat stop. To get there from BKK you can easily take the 72 bus from near the end of the airport train line (Phaya Thai).

This was like a stay with your grandparents from Thailand. So warm and welcoming. And I got offered food all the time. 😍 Original house, clean, in a quiet environment and just about the right walking distance from Khaosan Road (under 30 minutes). I would come again and I totally recommend this place if you are looking for something authentic.

Firstly, the setting itself is such a beautiful oasis of calm - you forget you're in Bangkok! The wooden house is like something from a Studio Ghibli film, full of character, care and intrigue. Secondly, the couple who own the accomodation are incredibly kind and welcoming. I felt at home straight away. Thirdly, the breakfast is fantastic - Ung adapted it to be vegeterian and it was so tasty. Her homemade ginger tea is a must too! Finally, the rooms are comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, I hope to return one day soon :)

The location might be a bit difficult if you stay for a long time, particularly as it’s not within walking distance to the BTS. However, if you grab, it’s not an issue.

Absolutely lovely homestay in the middle of Bangkok. The couple hosted us the best way and we felt warmly welcomed. We loved the atmosphere of the place, our room was comfy and pleasant with a private bathroom and a little balcony. The breakfast is also delicious! Overall, the stay was above and beyond our expectations.
