We decided to visit in rain season, so of course it was more quiet around the island. But we loved this accomodation. George and his team were very welcoming and friendly. We did rent a scooter at the reception and we booked an extra night. The breakfast was also very good. If we visit Koh Lanta again, we will come to this place again.

Unfortunately there was an power outage on the day we checked in meaning we had no aircon or running water in the accommodation until 5pm. This was out of the control of the staff but would’ve been nice to be pre-warned as the power outage was planned. Only other problem was that one of the bathroom toilets in the bungalow started leaking on our last night. Overall, would still stay here again!

Myself and three friends stayed in a two bedroom bungalow here and enjoyed our stay. The lady who looked after us was helpful, spoke good English and was responsive to texts. She offered a speedy laundry service and also served our breakfast in the mornings, of which there was a nice range of yogurt & muesli or omelette etc. The location of the bunglows was less than 5 mins from the coast and walking distance to restaurants and bars.

I liked the room: very spacious, and surrounded by green trees and plants, which was very peaceful and quiet and it brought shade which was great. The room had lots of space and light, water in the fridge, a kettle and a cute balcony with a place to dry your clothes/towels and some very relaxing chairs. WiFi and air-conditioning worked well. The room is walking distance from a street with some restaurants and shops and close to a beach. We were the only people on the beach and we didn't swim because the sea was quite rough and there was some debris in the water and on the sand. Breakfast: you can choose an option from the menu. You could pay extra and order more. About food: we found great pizzas at Loro Loco (900 meters), great crêpes at Blue Gecko (80 meters) and good and affordable Thai food at N and N (140 meters). I think this is a great place when it is high season and when more shops and restaurants and beach bars are open and there are more people around. Other reviews talked about very active and helpful owners, but when we were there, there was no one on the premises, only some guests. We stayed two nights and there was no housekeeping. It felt a bit deserted to me. We had to check-in at the Blue Gecko hotel around the corner and breakfast was also served there. The lady who worked there arranged everything, she was very helpful and also arranged a taxi for us. Our shower was broken and she tried calling someone to fix it, and when that didn't work she let us use the shower in another building. She also baked great crêpes. If not for her our stay would have been less enjoyable! Note; when we visited Koh Lanta at the end of July it was apparently low season on the island, there were many restaurants closed, people checked out early, even though it takes some time to get to the island. I don't know how other parts of the island look, because I only stayed within walking distance from our house.

I would like to thank George and Moon for their incredible hospitality. We were very happy in our stay at Baan long beach hotel, everything was excellent. We have extended our stay for 1 more night due to the beauty of the hotel site, If i came back to Koh lanta, this hotel would be my first choice.

Everything George was the most welcoming helpful host we’ve ever experienced , so helpful nothing was too much trouble , took us to the food markets , organised transport , car hires , lent us a moped to nip to shops , rooms immaculate , staff lovely and welcoming and so helpful We originally booked for 3 nights and ended up staying for 6 , quiet , peaceful , calm , tranquil , great location , 1 minute to the beach Would not hesitate to come back here

Little things have to get fixed. The shower head holder was broken. The main door was not easy to close, it was a little otplaced and the key bent/twisted. It was extremely difficult to put/take out the key. Such things are obvious for the staff and should get fixed immediately (work for 5 min). Lighting: need an extra light! (a table lamp as exaple) Next 7-eleven quite far away. main negativity is typical Koh Lanta problem: by far overpriced taxi, bus, farry + attempt to scam you by the price (best rent a motorbike close the pier, it will save you some money)

Although it's a short walk to long beach, we found ourselves getting a tuktuk to better restaurants and bars.

Lovely staff. Check in procedure is at an adjacent resort who then walk you to your bungalow. 5 minute walk to a quiet section of long beach. Very clean. Great shower. For the price it was a great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Baan Long Beach, made better by the kind and attentive staff. While the room isn't new and flashy, it was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet as it's pulled back from the main road. Long beach is a few minutes walk away, with good eating options close by as well. Would absolutely return and stay here again.

The only issue for us was the air con was not very strong and you can only have it on while in the room so we found it quite hot.

The staff were lovely. Really nice spacious room with towels, safe and fridge. There’s also a water machine on site which is a huge bonus.

The room got very hot and the air conditioning could only be turned on while in the room. Took a while to cool back down again but this was minor.

Great accommodation only a short walk away to the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really clean and comfortable room with good shower and bed. We liked the chilled refillable water station. Such good value for money.

Very nice bungalows just walking distance from Long Beach. the property is owned by the same people as Blue Gecko. Staff is very friendly and helpful. you can rent motorbikes from them. breakfast would be available at the blue Gecko resort if you like. The bungalows are spacious and clean. They are located in a quiet piece of land just a few minutes walk from the beach.

The owner and the staff were exceptional and did everything in their power to meet all of our special needs and arrangements, that little surprisingly came up along the way. Location is perfect, the beach, lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Quiet place besides the possible boxing nights that take place occasionally nearby. It's nicely located a little bit off the road. The restaurant was nice too for those few portions that we ordered and special recommendation to the home-made ice cream! :)
