Some ants in the bathroom but this didn’t bother us.

Short walk to the old town. Amazing pool which we had to ourselves! You can rent a scooter from the hotel. Rooms were big and clean. Air con was good. Shower was great. Felt like more of a local place to stay as not too touristy round here. You could hear lots of wildlife and felt like you were staying in the jungle. Staff were great and organised us a taxi. Would definitely stay here again and wish we had stayed longer!

Highly recommend. Huge room and very clean. Large comfy bed. Swimming pool was really nice. Walking distance to the old town and the offer bike rental for going further. Great value.

Location is a little out of town as mentioned, so keep this in mind as walking in peak sun is not advised

Really peaceful and lovely stay, we ended up extending our stay. You can walk into town but it’s quite hot in the day (fine in the evening), but also taxis are very cheap if needed. Ko Lanta is a great town to go into, recommend the restaurant across the street for a banging soup.

the bathroom was smelly on some days, so we had to make sure the door is always closed.

we stayed at baan chainarong for 5 nights and really enjoyed our time there. we loved the location since it's a more quiet area and not on the "busy side" of the island. it's close to the old town which is a nice way to start your day and have breakfast there. the staff was lovely and helpful, we rented our motorbike at the hotel for 200 baht which is a fair price. we would come back!

The fridge in our room was moldy. The mold could be felt a little in the room. There was no other apartment available, but the staff gave us a scent in the room and a scented candle.

Accommodation is on the remote side of the island. Thanks to this, the neighborhood is relatively quiet. Nice rooms. The staff asked us if we wanted our room to be cleaned every other day.

The bed is comfy but I found the pillows to be very big and firm which made it difficult for me to sleep. Despite this I would still come back to this hotel, we really enjoyed our 4 nights of relaxing here.

Incredible pool, absolutely loved it. Strong air con and nice modern room. It is only 15mins walk to 7-11 and Lanta Old Town. There is a little shop at reception that sells drinks, snacks and cup noodles. The roadside restaurant right opposite the entrance to the hotel makes amazing and cheap local food.

Only thing is the location but we knew this prior to booking so hiring a scooter was not a problem to us. 7/11 just down the road. Maybe could do with some more pool seats for when there are lots of people around but not a major problem.

Such an amazing property for a great price. Spacious, clean room with the comfiest bed and pillows. Air con is great also. We loved chilling by the pool area. Staff are so friendly and overall just a gorgeous place to stay. Would absolutely recommend!

Everything. The room was modern and huge for a family of three. Nice and peaceful location. You need a motorcycle to travel to the beaches but only 25 mins away. The staff are brilliant and friendly. The pool is clean and sometimes it feels like your own. We wil go back in a few weeks. You won't find anything like this on the other side of the island for this quality and price.

They need more comfortable seating by the pool

Lovely pool, really relaxing and quiet. Rooms were great and cleaned well, the beds were also very comfortable and there is a nice seating area outside the rooms.

- A little ant outbreak in the room, however this was sorted straight away once flagged up with the hotel.

- The best way to explore anywhere in Thailand is by motorbike, so the fact this hotel is a little out the way was no problem for us. You can rent bikes from the hotel at 250 baht per day and it is a 20 minute walk into the old town which has a 7/11, many shops and restaurants - Clean pool with a nice overhead seating area - Bottles of water were given every day and laundry done at 50 baht/kg - Room was large with working WiFi, AC, and hot water. Bed was comfy, too. You have a fridge & kettle with coffee. - Nice balcony area included with seats, sun hit the balcony too - Another added touch is the use of many books that are available for you to read, in the room, and by the pool area. - We left on Christmas Eve, and the lovely hosts gifted us some Christmas accessories to wear, which was a lovely touch I mean, for the bargain price you are paying, you get excellent facilities and service. We loved staying here!

Baan Chainarong in Koh Lanta is a great find. The people running the place are super friendly, making you feel at home despite a few language hiccups. Sorting that out is easy, though. The rooms are modern, well-kept, and just the right size. Beds are big and comfy, and there's a handy fridge. The air conditioning keeps things cool. The best part is the chill pool area with sunbeds – a perfect spot to relax. They do laundry for a decent 50 baht per kilo and rent out scooters for 250 baht daily. Situated by the main road, it's peaceful with light traffic and the hum of insects. A quick two-minute scooter ride takes you to Old Town Lanta, a cute area with shops and restaurants, giving off a laid-back vibe. For more action, a 15-minute scooter ride gets you to the lively west coast with bars, restaurants, beaches, and diving schools. Baan Chainarong is one of our top spots for a relaxed island getaway – totally recommended.

We loved our stay at Baan Chainarong. The hotel seems really new and modern. The room and all of the facilities were lovely, really big and so clean. We loved the huge pool! Each room has a really nice little terrace area (one of the cats came to join us there quite often, she was very cute). We just met one member of staff whilst we were there, she was so lovely and helpful. She answered questions for us and helped us with anything we needed. We also got our laundry done here and we hired a moped through the hotel too. Highly recommend!
