The breakfast wasn’t good and doesn’t have much options for vegetarians. But I didn’t have much expectations. Also wish the staff could be more accommodating for late check outs and use towels after check out. However the staff is very nice, those are just the rules.

The location is great. Once you get off the pier it’s a short walk to the hotel. We had the villa with private pool. Altho the pool isn’t 100% private in the sense ppl walking past villa can see through, it was still so nice to have. The room is so spacious. The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again for sure!

Just be wary of the bold monkeys!

One of our favourite stays on our 5 month trip of South-East Asia so far! It's so luxurious, great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, an amazing shower and good aircon. The pool is also gorgeous. The aircon in our room wasn't working on check in so we got upgraded to a room with a tub and it was superb! Would highly recommend. Breakfast was pretty good too!

Couldn’t swim in the pool, coz wild monkeys were swimming there too. It’s fun to see them outside on your terrace but they are wild and bit aggressive. If you don’t mind it, you can use the pool as others do.

Unfortunately a lot of flies at breakfast with no attempt to get rid of them, also mosquitoes in the room which is very annoying.

I stay here a lot. Th last couple of times I had bad experiences with the monkeys but this time I didn't. Its in a perfect spot and the beds were so comfy, the room in all was brilliant. large balcony. Breakfast good. No complaints at all . I highly recommend this hotel for the price is such good value.

Please fix the kettle and AC in room 217. The kettle does not turn on, and the AC is leaking. Breakfast lacks yogurt, omelets, and cheeses.

We had a room with direct pool access and found the hotel room floors could be very slippery when they got wet, and the pool closes at 8pm (though we didn’t know this and ended up taking a long dip around 2am during an amazing storm 😆)

Room was amazing, super comfortable and lots of amenities, probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in during my 2 month trip in Thailand, staff were also incredibly polite and helpful. also monkeys regularly come on the balconies and around the pool so it’s a great chance to see them up close if that’s something you’d enjoy.

We loved everything about Avatar Railay! From the wonderful Ms. Poo at the reception who saw to our every need and went out of her way for us in more ways than one, to the cheerful staff, gorgeous large rooms, beautiful pool, all the greenery ❤️ this place has our hearts! We came here years ago for the live music and again, it was fantastic and we had the time of our lives with the live, talented two-piece band! The location is close to the pier and walking street and fantastic! In addition,the beautiful Diamond Cave is right on the island. Possibly the most peaceful and happening place to be ❤️Can't wait to come back here 😁! Thank you for everything!

Absolutely amazing resort with a fully shaded pool. It was the hottest time of the year so it was great to have some shade. The staff were absolutely amazing and so welcoming. Great front area to chill in the bean bags. Absolutely recommend this gorgeous accommodation.

We opted for a villa, and upon arrival, we were pleasantly taken aback. The room boasted a luxurious feel, featuring a freestanding bath, separate shower, and toilet—exceeding our expectations from the photos.
