Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ThailandThere was no breakfast if you want to. And, there is limited parking offered by the hotel for when there are many people with cars.
The hotel room size is particularly sufficient. It was a great experience and I enjoyed my stay. The only few things which could be improved upon are the breakfast option, however, there are many options closeby to get breakfast if you want to. And, there is limited parking offered by the hotel for when there are many people with cars.

New ZealandThe staircase leading to our room had no headroom for myself or my partner, I’m 6”1 and she’s 5”8 and both of not careful would hit our heads really badly on the ceiling of the staircase. The door lock was really difficult to either lock or unlock and gave me uncertainty. Air conditioning unit needed a service, filters needed a clean. I was sneezing from dust. Otherwise everything was great.
Nice pool, gym with modern equipment and a kids play area.

Thailandthe exterior needs to be upgraded with some signage
I needed to stay here for a few days because my regular AT SEA condo accommodation was booked. The hotel is located at the top end of the main street of Klong Muang. It was an easy stay. The rooms are basic and clean and everything works fine with simple interior design. WiFi is strong. The rooms come with or without a balcony (that overlooks the pool). The nightly fee reflects this difference. Apart from a simple sign at the front (see photo) the Aspira doesn’t look much from the street - but I understand they have plans to upgrade and renovate. So I imagine the exterior facade will improve. As of APRIL 24, the hotel has been open a few months. Its best feature is being next to my favorite Thai restaurant called THE TERRACE Authentic Thai Seafood.

MauritiusThe room was not as quiet as expected at night.
The room and hotel in itself were very cosy. And there is a 7-11 right in front of the hotel - a dream. However, I had a room right next to the road and it got noisy at some point. Moreover, if you're looking for a quiet locality, it is great but I encountered problems to get taxis to go to the center (AO Nang). Overall it was a good stay with amazing staff.

SwedenCleaner was great but took forever to come an clean the room, some days they didn't show at all. No restaurang. Unfortunately the hotel did not offer any breakfast or food at all, they didnt have any restaurant or mini shop. However they had a very smal kitchen in the hotel rooms but no supplies to cook food with more than 4 glas, 4 plats and som cutleries. No sunbeds, 4 sunbeams for the whole hotel. Far from beach and the hotel only offered shuttles service to the beach but not back (which was up the hill). Electricity shut down for 2 days so we had to sleep in 37 degrees :-)
Super nice rooms. Friendly stuff. Beach was a bit away but so beautiful.

United KingdomThe noise from the road in our initial bedroom at the front of the hotel (in a separate building) meant our sleep was interrupted, and sitting on the balcony wasn't very relaxing. Also, the beds and pillows in this room were very hard.
Fantastic staff, in particular, we would like to thank Sophie, who went out of her way to help us. We moved rooms to a bedroom in the main hotel. Lovely and quiet, beautiful soft beds and pillows and a relaxing balcony. Great restaurant literally at the front of the hotel and beach within walking distance.

CanadaThe kids play area hours are 9-5; would be helpful if it was open later.
Big room, great staff who are accommodating, kids play area. We booked a room that said it had 2 kings but it had a king and a queen. They brought us a third mattress. The room was cleaned daily and bottled water was provided. Their is a 711 across the street. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach if you cut through Dusit Thani resort. Overall comfortable stay and great value

UkraineBUT: they open only untill 17:00 !!! That's idiotic rule: most of guests returns from beach about 18:00 (because meet sunset), so they can't use that rooms, because they already are closed... The supervisor at the front desk is not entirely adequate: she is trying to charge a huge price for accommodation that does not correspond to the real situation. As a result, the guest either goes to another hotel or books online in a couple of days, since the price drops very significantly. The hotel owners need to pay attention to the work of the supervisor at the front desk. Poor hand held shower heads in rooms. There is no normal mode of small jets. Some of the updated old furniture is falling apart. Otherwise everything is fine.
This hotel after reconstruction: old, but repainted furnitures, big 4K TV sets, clean waterpool, good gaming room (pool-tables, air-hockey tables, soccer table). Also have childrens room and fitness room. BUT: they open only untill 17:00 !!! That's idiotic rule: most of guests returns from beach about 18:00 (because meet sunset), so they can't use that rooms, because they already are closed... Very big rooms! Really big rooms! Good hard beds, many air. New air conditioners, good air coolers LG. In room have microwave ovens, some things for cooking. Good location: opposite street have 7/11 shop.

ThailandI am writing this not to knock the management but to highlight some points in case they read it. I have stayed at an Aspira hotel before, it was quite good. This one in Krabi is very poor. The check-in process took ages. Guests need a fighter pilot's license to operate the safe box. Running water was on and off, on one occasion yellow in color when on. The walls outside haven't been painted in decades. Ground floor toilet not working. Our room (top of the hotel's range) was OK but it hasn't been upgraded for a long time. Worst of all, the floors in public areas were filthy - someone should discuss the benefits of using a high pressure steam cleaner from Karcher. In short, the place should be shut down and reopen after some major upgrades.
Relatively good location, 600 - 1,000 meters from the beach.

United StatesThere seemed to be two buildings and one is newer and nicer than the other. We got the older one and it was suitable for us (we’re more seasoned backpacker / hostel types) but the bed was basically a hard board and the shower didn’t drain properly (we’d have to wait between showers).
The pool was a nice to have after a day at the beach. They also had an outdoor shower to get sand off you before going to your room. The service when we checked in and out during the day was super nice! She was very helpful and accommodating. However, there was someone else at night and they were oddly stingy about giving us additional towels. Ultimately a solid option if you’re okay with fewer frills, proximity to many good restaurants, and are okay with a little walk to the beach. It was a very nice change of pace from the craziness of Ao Nang and a great value for the price point.

United KingdomThe bed rooms. Very small lots of traffic noise.
The rooms were very noisy at the front of the hotel with Road noise. Also minor irritation with fittings, hand rail on the stairs was broken, very low ceiling hight on the stairs was very low, and bumped our head several times. Water not draining in the shower., to name but a few. But the staff were excellent.

AustraliaLocation wise is a bit far from beach (no doubt there is shuttle service provided by the hotel to the beach but you have to find your way back yourself). Few restaurants around serving only lunch and dinner. Could not get breakfast in the morning before 11.30am (luckily there is 7-11 opposite the road). If you want to go to Ao Nang beach, taxi cost is THB400 per way. It will be better if you have your own transport to go around.
Hotel manager is extremely helpful and courteous. Room is spacious for 3 persons. Laundry service is opposite the road which is very convenient for us.

ThailandDirty place with lazy staff, lies, and just incompetence. Booked for 2 nights. We arrived on Friday night, and the bathtub was covered in some white gunk. Cleaning service was only available in the morning. Despite our disappointment, we understood that things can go wrong. During the night, the bed broke under us while we were sleeping, but we switched sides and continued sleeping. The next morning, housekeeping attempted to clean the bathtub, but it remained dirty. We tried to demonstrate the issue with our hands, and the manager suggested a refund, which we accepted. While checking out, the manager requested an email from the booking platform. After contacting them, they promised a response within 24 hours. The manager advised waiting and even tried to sell us an her place to stay. At this point, I was furious. After hours of arguing, we finally received a refund, though not a full one as I had expected for a dirty room.
